Wow, Why is this topic even opened up. Seriously... There are other forums on the net for this. A gaming site filled with intelligent people and impressionable minds is seriously not the place for a religious debate...

If conditioning in armor is allowed, A new player can simply say; "yes my char. has been conditioned since childhood" and what if another character has; "my character is a season runner ever since childhood, he's been run packages between kingdoms" yet when the 2 meet they run about the exact same speed. Besides we're talking about full plate armor here. Spartans never wore full plate Full plate is Full Plate. 3 seconds?! are you serious for an archer? That's a really long time to stand still and be not allowed to moved. Let's not look for a balance here, the fact is, some one with armor has advantage in defense, i makes sense they'd be slower with armor. I hate to point this out but... average iron armor weighs 70 kg in masterwork to 100 kg, but if diamond armor existed in the real world. Doing the math, it would only weigh 11 pounds for full. Cus diamonds are a lot lighter than iron granted if by lore diamond armor is solid diamond, not iron armor with diamonds on it.

This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): He's parents were among those who fled from Aegis.When they got to Asulon, they joined a group of explorers who choose to journey the land. After wandering and exploring for ages they eventually decided to settled and establish a tiny settlement. It was at this time and at this place that Cassius was born. Cassius was born in a settlement located somewhere in the wilds of Asulon outside any kingdom's rule or protection. The settlement lived off the land and each member provided a skill and service. Cassius'father was a skilled hunter and marksmans who help provide meat, wool and leather for them. While his mother helped with the sewing and tailoring. While Cassius was growing up he learned a thing or two from each of his parents. Atleast as much as he could from the time they were able to spend together. On a rainy night when Cassius was 8 their settlement was attacked by marauders, with their lack of weapons and manpower, they were easy prey. They stood no chance. Cassius' mother was one of the first to die. His father fought back and manage to drag Cassius and run, but while fleeing through woods Cassius got hit with an arrow through the back of his head. He fell and his father had to carry him. They ran all night, until Cassius'father noticed he stopped breathing and his heart stopped beating. On a desperate and distraught state of mind he to hide Cassius' body in bushes and escape without him since he thought he was already dead and if he wasn't, that he won't survive the night. The Marauders continued to chase his father and were completely oblivious of Cassius as they walked pass his lifeless body. Miraclously Cassius woke up the next morning. He was fatigued, his vision was blurred, and there was an arrow sticking out of the back of his head. He wandered in woods for some time only to collapse again. It was around midday, that's when someone finally found him. A young boy, a wood cutter stumbles upon him and his unconscious body, who worked with a build crew who was working nearby, they were tasked to build a castle for a rich lord. The boy took Cassius there, and there They nursed Cassius, pulled the arrow out of his head, offered him a bed and nursed him back to his feet. They were a build crew and they were lead by a old master, a master mason, skilled with a chisel. After his recovery, Cassius decided to join them and travel with them. The build crew were comprised of very skilled men and women who came to the crew as children, most of them were orphans looking skills to survive, the old master taught them everything, They were so skilled and good at what they do that traveled around the land asked to and getting paid for building various castles, temples and fortifications. After years of working as a mason and years since being a part of the traveling build crew Cassius asked permission to leave and search for his father. He was last seen traveling towards Salvus. Cassius has dark unkempt hair, pale skin and a pale face, the kind you get by living out in cold for so long. He has a slight beard ad dark eyes. What is your Character's ambitions?: He wants to make a name for himself, build something for himself one day and not for anyone else. He also has a deep hatred towards bandits and want to find those who killed his mother and find his father if he is still alive. What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): His Bow What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? Cassius is a decent hunter, tailor, carpenter and mason but with all his skills still has a ways to go. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Cassius knew full well that if he confronts the 2 bandit with a halfling that there's a big chance of him loosing. Rightaway He decides to take the offensive and with addition of the element of surprise. Cassius searches for a spot that's hidden enough, high enough, far enough and behind the bandits. He then silently signals the halfling from behind his attackers and let's him know to be quiet and not give him away with a finger to his lips. Cassius takes aim and fire arrows at the bandits and while they are distracted by his attack, and there attention away the halfling takes this time to run. Cassius knows it'll be a risk to stay fight, so he runs as soon as he see the halfling leave. The bandits tries toreach him and come after him, but he shouts "See you, you fools!" and vanishes in the nearby woods and as they turn back to their previous victim they find him long gone. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? Cassius answers back with a greeting of his own, "Greetings my good fellow, I'm traveller who just happens to find myself here by your stall...hmmm...what is it you're selling", Cassius browse through his wares and find nothing that would interest him, He opts to find the most useful and cheap item the merchant was selling and pick that, just to be polite. "I probably need one these" He hand his money to the merchant. "By the way do you happen to know where the nearest town is?" The mechant responds. "Thank you and have a nice day" Cassius walks away from the roadside stall. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Cassius is no thief, infact hhe hates bandits, He closes the chest and erases the memory of the items he saw inside from his mind. Maybe he thought someone was in the hut, that's probably why he came in. He looks around inside to see if he had disturbed anything, he then heads for the door, exits the home and closes it behind him. Leaving everything untouched. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Cassius doesn't like to be seen acting like a mercenary, He was no sellsword after all. A bit annoyed by the notion by he figured these bandit needed to be brought to justice. He walks over to the town guard "No reward is nessesary... Atleast for my part... I'd gladly shot bandits for you as long as your cause is just", He checks and readies his bow, counts his arrows and prepares for battle.

This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Before the fall of Al Khazar, Cassius' name use to be Cassius Covanis he comes from a well to do family who served the kingdom of Oren and it's king, Cassius' grandfather built the house of Corvanis from nothing to what it was at it's time. He had 3 sons, and before his death he decided to step down as the lord and bequeath his power to his eldest son, Cassius father. It seemd like a good decision at the time, Cassius' father was gifted and intelligent man and so were his uncles, all seemed well. Atleast on the surface. In reality the House was conspiring with usurpers who had wanted to over throw the king, they had lied and spied against the crown. They even plotted to assassinate the king. But all the treasonous acts ended when Cassius' grandfather; who upon discovering what his sons had been doing with his legacy, came immediately to the authorities. Acting quickly and in secret, they arrested and imprisoned his sons. In the end of it all everything was kept quiet, but the guilt in Cassius' grandfather was too great. Heartbroken he willing gave up his title, the shame he carried was so great that he felt he had to leave Al Khazar; this was all before it's fall. With him he brought the young Cassius whom he raised in a small cottage in the wilds of Asulon. Cassius eventually came of age and change his name to Corvane. With a fleet of ships they sailed for their lives. For years they sailed until eventually the fleet got seperated, scattered into the four winds. Cassius'ship runs into a massive storm that destroys it and sends it to the bottom of the ocean. Cassius manage to survive and swim for miles to the nearest shore, which ends up to be Asulon. Cassius looks as if he's at the end of his youth, He looks like a season veteran. He has dark hair and a very light tan gained from his years at sea.
