Hello, My name is Arthur and I am brazilian, currently studying at university (physician school) and my character was accepted in 2012. I had to stop playing due to the lack of time back then (studies and such) and the feeling of "disability" to complex roleplay. I was more of a casual roleplayer and still am because I haven't got much time (right now I'm on vacation) both to read plenty of lore and play and also my english isn't perfect enough to fully understand complex roleplay scenarios. However, my friend was accepted recently and because of that I decided to go back and try again. We really enjoy roleplaying and I'm quite excited for this. There's a problem though... My old character Elron was a mix of ideas based on Grog from Legend of Zelda, I liked the whole aspect of rping a depressed person with his discontent for the world and people, but the fun and critic part of loving a chicken rather than someone or his own family. He was a 210 years old High elf. However, when I roleplayed, I found it was quite hard for me since I liked to talk. So I decided to change it with its experiences of life. Right now I'm more into the life of a biologist focused in plants and study of species, change that could have happened after Elron went to a secluded life in contact with nature and decided to see diversity with different eyes, turning him into a more acceptable, peaceful and less teenage-like arrogant guy. My question is: is this possible? I decided to start making a new application for him... Should I make a new character or can I send an application with this new personality? I also don't know about his age... He was 210 back then and now, counting the time, he should be somewhat by 290... Is he old enough to have and old elf appearence (like my profile pic)? I'll try to discover about Vailor biology by reading the lore... but do you think it would be powergaming to make a character that knows these things and also gives his opinion to renowned scientists in the high elven society without having too much contact with society? Do I need a very complex and deep knowledge of english? I study biology in real life and know cell metabolism, botany, biochemistry and scientific methodology quite well (I study a fungus :P)... The last question: Can I casually roleplay this character only when I have free time? Do you think it won't be possible and I should skip to a more general type? Thanks!! Then, he sees a tree and climb it to get a better view and hide. Grabs his bow, an arrow and aim to one of the warriors, the strongest one. When Elron was nine years old, his father gave him a bow and some arrows which were carefully made by him. Since that day, the dream of the elf was to become a master at archery, defend armies from the defensive with his sharp arrow. For this reason, he started practising a lot, from day to night. When Elron was 17, it was a cold night of winter, the family was eating dinner. While Elron was picking a slice of the delicious steak, chickens started to cluck. His mother left the table and went to the poultry to check. Elron went together, carrying his bow and a knife. For their surprise, a wolf invaded the ranch and killed almost all chichens, except his chick named Cojiro, his first chicken, which the evil wolf was about to murder cruelly. His mom hopelessly tried to get rid of it but unfortunately, as a mater of destiny, the evil wolf was too fast, bit her and she started to bleed in front of the little kid. Elron fastly picked up his bow and with a shot right in the wolf's head, killed it, but not fast enough to save his mother. Sentimental, what happened to him changed his behaviour, don't talk too much and usually run from big responsabilities because of a fear: fear of failure. His mother left the table and went to the poultry to check. Elron went together, carrying his bow and a knife. For their surprise, a wolf invaded the ranch and killed almost all chichens, except his chick named Cojiro, his first chicken, which the evil wolf was about to murder cruelly.
