Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?
Aegnor walks along a road and barely makes out the sound of screaming and a halfling yelling "Help!". As Aegnor slowly approaches the area that the warriors are in he questions himself whether he wants to risk his money on helping the halfling, or try to keep his wares and move on.
He decides to move on leaving the poor halfling to his fate, as he thinks about the next town and how much he can sell his wares for.
Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?
Aegnor responds in a rather cold tone as he notices a pair of diamonds on the adjacent wall "Hello, how much for the pair of diamonds?". The merchant rubs his chin in thought as he looks over the Elf before responding "Six hundred minas for the pair". Aegnor stares at the merchant for a minute before responding in an outraged tone "Six hundred!? What fool do you take me for!? The next town over sells it for two hundred for a piece! I would rather walk and save my money than buy these diamonds for such a price!". Aegnor turns to leave but the merchant responds quickly saying "Wait, wait, wait! I will sell them to your for two-hundred-fifty a piece." Aegnor shakes his head in discuss "You have insulted me! Why would I buy these diamonds from you?". The merchant responds "I-I.. I will sell you them for two-hundred-twenty five minas a piece then!". Aegnor seems to ponder for a moment before reaching down and grabbing his pouch of minas and counting out the required money for the merchant. The merchant takes the money quickly and grabs the diamonds before handing them to Aegnor. Aegnor smiles and thinks about how much money he could get by selling them two times the price to some fool in the next town over.
Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:
Aegnor looks into the chest with interest taking the items and knowing full well that he could sell them for a nice profit. He sighs as he looks around knowing that somebody lived there and might still live there. He feels conflicted whether he should take the items or leave them to their owners. He finally decides after much thought that he will leave the sword but take a few of the iron bars. He turns around again and looks at the state of the house and remembers the state of his family and his house before turning and looking down at the iron ingots in his pack and decides to put them back in the chest and leaves them for the family if they may return.
Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?
Half starved, Aegnor stumbles into the camp being drawn there by the smell of food. He notices two strangers, a man and a woman. The man notices Aegnor and picks up his sword and stands up, the man unsheathes his sword and looks at Aegnor, almost in fear. The man speaks softly and questions Aegnor "What do you want?". Aegnor looks at the man weakly as his stomach growls loudly "Food..." The woman looks at the man and says rather loudly "Feed the poor soul!". Aegnor looks between the woman and the man waiting for the man to respond. The man looks at the woman then looks back to Aegnor, then motions for Aegnor to come closer speaking in the same soft voice as before "Come and share our camp fire, but be warned ill still stick a sword through you if I have to." Aegnor weakly stumbles closer to the camp and looks hungrily at the food roasting over the fire and says softly "Thank you.."
You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:
Aegnor listens closely as the guard speaks about the bandits and decides that it would be safer to stay in town. He watches with interest as several young men volunteer. His attention is suddenly drawn to the guard that walks in front of him, and the guard says with a sneer "Well freak, you want to help us fight bandits?" Aegnor masks his emotions as he says meekly "No, I would rather not. Seeing as I'm not good with a blade." The guard shakes his head in disgust as he turns back to his guards as he yells "This freak cant even hold a sword!" Aegnor looks down in shame as he turns around and walks away heading towards his room, knowing full well he cannot best the guard.
