In-Character Details
Character Name: Eithrel Levrin
Character Race: Elf (ancient and not wood, dark,or high elf)
Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:I came from a race beyond human. We are centuries older as well. We lived in a land of paradise where there was never famine, never poverty or suffering, that is....Untill the dragons came. I will get into that subject later on but let me just tell you how my story came to be.
We were born magicians and have supernatural flexibility and cunning. We're as fast as deer and as sharp as a falcon. We don't need steeds for we choose to run. We each have our own swords and gleaming armor that's as hard as steel, but as light as a feather and as free moving as silk.
We all may never die but for battle. And we haven't fought anything troublesome in a very long time. So we grow and prosper and our people know of how big populations will harm our lovely forests, so we only have few children a year. We grow old but still have the flexibility and looks of our twentys. We also have pointed ears hat help increase our hearing. We were called the Elves of Light, or so these young elves call us. They say we were extremly smart yet they know almost nothing about us. None of them know who I am, but I like it that way. I still help my younger cousins and I hope I will push them in the right direction as me and my brothers and sisters did before them.
I came to be a few thousand before the high elves and all the others, and sadly, 130 years before the dragons. I was born under the King Elendįl and Queen Resià. I was raised at the age of 4 to master the basic skills of herbalism and farming with my mother and astronomy with my father. At the age of 6 I took classes on language and potion making from my tutors. By the time I was 16 I had also learned about architecture, spell mastering, sword fighting, hunting, and my favorite... Blacksmithing. I loved my life and was looked up to by many. I wanted to live a peaceful life. And then they came.
The dragons swept over our elegant cities and slaughtered many of my brethren before we could even get our last fighting force together. The White Hawks, or Terowŷn Lanrok. They were the special guard of 80,000 males and females who fight to their death to protect our civilization. But there were too many. My parents were killed. And so was more that 9/10 of our race. The rest of us fled the horror. The burned our forests to the ground. And left our city to ruin.
Of about 500,000 only 2,300 survived in the end. On our journey away from our home to seek shelter, the wild took us as prey. They went up against us because we showed fear this time. Not our strength. We came upon an old outpost of ours during a past war. We took it and started to make it our new home. And then this weird rummbling sound was heard. And we realised that it was a trap that the last civilization set before dying off. We realised too late and everyone that was left died from massive avalaunches from the mountains around us. The only one that survived was me. Only because of my friends who tried so hard to save me by hiding me inside the mountain and made me hibernate so I didn't need food or water untill I was found. Of course I was never found, I just woke up and had to tunnel out of the mess. And I find my self in a whole different world.
Across the horizon there was a mighty city. None as beautiful as our old home. But was made by human hands. At the time I didn't know who or what was guarding those walls. I tried to see if I could help but I was too tired and waited to see who these people are and what they do. Since our war was long since over. I thought it'd be easy to walk into the city, but they were keen on who went in, so I snuk in and heard the news of what was going on. And I found out about all the other races and how there were constant wars and fighting going on all across the land. As soon as I heard I raced to where the new elven capital should be.
And so my story starts anew.
And so I go.....forever more.....into the new life I have.
What are your characters ambitions?: I want to do good for the new elves who rule in the woodlands. I want to help make our lands safer and stronger than ever before and I would like to be in good standings with the new leaders of our race.
Please provide an in-game screenshot of your skin here:(should I apply for getting my skin to look better, or is it fine? Also I don't know how to exactly put my picture here, but I'll put it in the attachments section)
Is there anything else you would like to say about your character: I Like to fight with the sword but I am very talented with the art of the bow. I also am around 170 years old (as in age before I was put into hibernation, but from time since I was born, I am 3,467)
Open-Response-Questions
Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short.
Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response?I would ask him "Hail! Good sir, What are your wares?" but of course it wouldn't matter what he would tell me I would buy something for the highest price because I know he needs the money. I also try to stay in good relations with most of those who live here in this new world we live in. I would try to buy something I could use however so its not just like throwing away money. Perhaps he would sell a fine cloak to warm my shoulders on those cold winter nights.
You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do? I would kindly step over towards what is going on and insert myself right in the middle of the conversation. I would ask if the two opposite parties would explain why they are arguing and try to find a civil way out of the argument. If the arguing escalated into fighting I would immediately intervene and make sure each side isn't able to harm each other for a while. Of course I would not just leave them because I am a very caring person. I would take each of them to a nearby inn, pay for their rent and a little extra for their troubles and ask the get opposite rooms and not get told each other was there. And I'd hope that would solve their problems.
Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?: I immediately pick him back up and give all his money back to him. I would tell him to wait at that spot and go into the forest that was conveniently near bye and fetch him a new, better, and stronger stick which I would give to him later. I would set up a small rag-tag camp as I couldn't stay there too long on the way to the capital, but I would feed him and give him a beautifully carved walking stick, that I hope will aid him on his journeys.
