His family were very poor, and the crops were always short due to the abundance of salt within the soil. Sometimes, if the crops were very poor, the family could not put food on the table, and so Valmirr had lived a harsh childhood. One day when Valmirr was thirteen years of age, the family could not pay the tax payers enough money, so they took Valmirr Shroud with them. He was taken to Asulon to work in the mines for the rest of his childhood. Although the time in the mines took its toll on him, he still kept his optimistic personality. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? Being the pacifist he is, Valmirr tries to resolve the situation in a non-violent matter. If the Halfing continues to be harassed, Valmirr will persuade the warriors to leave the Halfling alone with an incentive like bread or Minas. After the armed warriors leave, Valmirr asks if the halfling needs any assistance. The halfling smiles and syas " I am fine, thank you". Valmirr waves goodbye and walks away. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? Valmirr would politely greet the man, and ask for any bread he may have. If so, Valmirr would make a generous trade of Minas in exchange for the bread. Valmirr thanks him for the bread and says "I will be back tomorrow with items to trade". he then walks away as the tradesmen shouts to him "goodbye traveller". Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: Valmirr would leave the contents of the chest as they are because stealing has serious consequences and he wants to stay out of trouble. As he leaves the hut he then thinks to himself " I don't think anyone even lives here anymore, maybe it's alright if i take the items". he then loots the contents of the chest and hurries away from the abandoned hut before anyone notices. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? Hungry and desperate for assistance, Valmirr would plead for food and a map that would lead him in the direction of the kingdom of Oren. He would thank the tradesmen for the assistance and pay them minas in return for helping him. He then walks in the direction of the kingdom, looking forward to the warm food and comfortable bed awaiting him. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Valmirr has never favoured nor learnt any form of combat, so he would not engage the bandits in fear of a beating if he did. He does however, notify the king.The king orders the guard to dispose of the bandits and their camp. Valmirr watches the entire bloodbath. As many dead bodies lay on the ground. Valmirr is horrified of the sight but is grateful that his job is to tend to crops and mine for precious ores, not wield a sword and fight to the death.
