How much time could you be on the server weekly?: 2-3 hours each day I believe, surely it depends on if i get involved in any events or such. What do you know about Roleplaying? What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: My roleplaying experiences lies within the realms of the World of Warcraft. I've been playing on a roleplaying server for quite some time and while doing so I've experienced alot! Won't go into detail for the sake of everyone who reads this. In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-Gaming is recieving and using information you did not recieve from the roleplaying source to your advantage. For example if my friend where to tell me on TeamSpeak where the enemie lied on the battlefield. What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I played on Jabacraft before and other whitelisted server, I left them because it gets boring in the long run with vanilla minecraft. (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Northerner Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): John Longstrider was raised by his parents, Angus Longstrider and Emily Longstrider. They lived happily in Alras where John’s father was a soldier who fought for the king and Emily was home, caring for John. When John was 25 years old Angus died defending the king from the undead, it was said he threw himself in front of the king to protect him from a fireball the undead overlord had casted. The undead overlord was slain shortly after. Angus died a hero and John was very proud to be his son. Four months later Emily died from age. Her last words were that she wanted John to follow his father’s footsteps, “protect what we have and what we are” she said with her last breath. John had achieved purpose in life! He would become a soldier and defend the kingdom of men, because that is what he believed in. John had no training what-so-ever, how could HE be worthy of protecting the KING? John sat down in his chair and thougth for a while. Then he figured it out. He'd have to learn the ways of the soldier. He was going to become a great soldier and make his parrents proud. He opened his fathers chest and found 1000 minas and The Longstrider Sword. The sword had passed through generations of The Longstrider family. It was crafted with diamond and forged in the nether his father used to tell him. John admired the sword. Being a northerner the sword felt light in his hands. He equipped the sword and set off into the world of Asulon in hope of learning the ways, and that leads us to this day... John Longstrider is now 185cm tall and medium built. He carries The Longstrider Sword which is a diamond sword that has passed through generations. When he's not venturing he writes books of his journeys and publish them in libraries. John can be lazy, yet he never gives up. What is your Character's ambitions?: John Longstriders ambitions is to learn the way of the soldier, follow his father footsteps and fight for the king! What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Sword What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? John Longstrider can move swiftly through any terrain. Open-Response-Questions Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? John Longstrider would interact with no doubt on his mind. "Greetings fellow warriors, is there a problem?" John says. "Why don't you mind your own business stranger" one of the warrior responds. "If a halfling is getting robbed by two strong warriors it is my business" John replys with a spark in his eye. The warriors say no more and approaches John. *John nicks his head at the halfling, like a sign that he shall run away. The halfing runs away. The warriors draw swords and are now standing right infront of him. John, who is master of combat doesn't need a sword for two puny warriors, he readys his fists... The warriors attack! John quickly rolls between them, ending up behind them. The warriors have heavy armor and reduced agility, they are slow and therefor cannot turn around at once. John takes a hold of each of their helmets and bang them togheter. Both warriors are knocked unconcious. John strides along with a smile on his face. Further down the road the halfling is waiting for him. "Stranger!" he yells as John walks by. John approaches the halfling. "Thank you noble knight, please take this reward as a sign of my graditude" the halfling says. The halfling holds up a diamond sword and gives it to John. John admires the majestic sword. "We shall meet a again... John Longstrider" The halfling said". "Wait! How did you know my na..." John replys. John looks around him. The halfling was gone. Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? John replys "Got any ale?". "Sure do" the vendor replys. The vendor hands John a cold ale right from the keg. John, not having any money because he used it all on a new house couldn't pay for the ale. But he's smart. He used a technique he had discovered in on of the deepest libraries. "WHAT'S THAT" John yells, pointing out the window. The vendor quickly watches out the window. Not seeing anything unnormal he turns around "Where is..." The vendor doesn't see any sign of John. Three seconds later "Son of a b..! John hears in the distance as he's enjoying his ale, striding along. Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: "Looks pretty abandoned to me" John says as he swoshes the golden sword around. Suddenly a pissed elf appears. "What are you doing my father's holy sword?" the elf says. "Uhh... Hello elf, an invisible fairy tried to steal your father's holy sword, I fought it of but it was a close call". "Get out" the elf says obviously not buying the story. John strides along, he has learned that you should never take anything from chests which does not belong to you. Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? John approaches "Greetings, I've been lost for days, I was attacked by monsters and got lost in the woods, do you have any food to spare?". "we have both food and shelter we can share with you, but you'll have to work for it" the camp leader says. "Thank you, I am more than happy to work for you". John eats up and get a couple of hours of sleep. When he wakes up he does a couple of chores for the camp leader. John liked it here and made friends with some of the camp people. He stayed here for a couple of weeks before he decided to continue his quest to learn the ways of the soldier. The camp leader and John became friends and John visits the trading camp now and then. You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: John yells towards a group of lazy dwarfs further down the street "To arms soldiers! This guard buys you one ale each kill!". There doesn't seem to be anyone who cares to join in. John sighs "OK, two ales each kill!" EVERY SINGLE DWARF DRAWS THEIR SWORD AND CHARGES FOR BATTLE!
