How much time could you be on the server weekly?:Right now in the summer, I spend about 70 hours on minecraft and it would be at least 40 hours on LOTC! Later when I have school I will be on for about 5-14 hours pro day and 30 hours pro week.
What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:Roleplaying is to play another character and try to act like he or she would do if he or she was real. To play with other persons who play other characters. And of course to have fun !
What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?:
I haven't had that much experience in roleplaying, but I've watched my friend do it ( On this server, And I got inspired!)
In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is:
Meta-Gaming is for example to read the name of a person and say "Oh hello george" When you haven't even asked for the name in the first place, basically it is giving your character information it's not supposed to have. Even if you know things ooc, your character will still have to learn about them in game.
In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Emoting is:It is for example to be a over power person and in a fight "throw a battle axe in the opponents head" and leave the other person defence less. Instead of fighting a real match with your characters skills and use a cheat way or if you are a pro on fighting but your character is five you must fight like a five years old.
What do you expect this server will be like?:I expect it to be like a minecraft version of lord of the rings in an other world, very fun and professional.
What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:I have not really played on any other servers because every server I have been on is so uninteresting and often get's griefed, and it's boring to play on a grieved server. I still play on my friends servers sometimes but I would spend much time hereon LOTC, I promise!

Yes I have read the rules, and I understand them fully. I've even read everything about asulon & Aegis and races on the wiki.

How did you hear about us?: My friend plays on LOTC all the time and she recommended me to join, so I decided to write an application.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): I am Grien, a 1013years old cave dwarf who loves to mine diamonds and redstone! I grew up in Aegis with my parents. We lived in a mine in the west part of the capital. We were happy and my father reached me all about mining. I was suddenly the best miner in my family, I suspect my father was jealous. I was also the biggest explorer and I wanted to find new ores even when I knew that I had found every one that could be found. I always looked for new mines in hope to find the new mineral I was dreaming about. Everything was calm, and my life was perfect until one day I heard that my father was dead! I was in deep shock, I was told he got killed in a bar in a fight between him and three wood elves. I got mad and wanted to have revenge on the three elves but when the first one was laying for my axe, I could not kill him, I am too good of a dwarf.
I was building many railroads in my mines. I loved to build with redstone! I had a railroad to every mines way. Some other dwarves used my rails to go to their parts of the mine. I did not only build to my mines, I built rail systems to everybody who wanted one, free of charge. I built one test mine way where I used pistons. It fell together when I built. I was buried under stone. But I was lucky, one of the other dwarves were going past me with a mine-cart. He saw me and dug me out. I survived thanks to him. The other dwarf miner died one year later in a explotion in a cave when he would try to blow obsidian up, I miss him dearly, he was a really good friend and it was always nice to drink some ale with him.
I lived a normal life in the mines. I was drinking real dwarf ale every night on a local bar. A girl in the bar said she "loved me", she was probably drunk though. I was not interested in a relation then, the only love I had was to stone and the mines. Sometimes I wish that I would have married her but I didn't know that I ever would look for a relationship after that . Now I feel lonley in the mines, I want a dwarf wife to mine with. Or why not take a nice rail road trip in a big cave? Anyway, I cant find anyone now when I want to find one.
When I was 963 years old I decided to leave my old life and look for new caves and minerals. My mother was now left alone in Aegis when I went to Asulon. I left with my two best friends. When we was halfway in Asulon we met a tiny group of orcs. We fought but they split us up. I looked for them in weeks but I could not find any footsteps except the rest of the orcs. I don't know what happened with them after that and I never saw them again. I hope that that made it to Asulon but I'm not sure. My eyes was hurting the first week on the ground but when I was there it didn't hurt anymore. I traveled in about one year but I had a lot problems on the way, because we dwarves arent made for long distance running!
One day after my 964th birthday I reached Asulon! I found a great place to start a mine on in maple port. Now I am looking for a new place to start a mine on and a family with a dwarf wife and children! It is so much easier to be over the mines after my trip to Asulon. I love to explore new places and mines. I am still looking for a new mineral but it is not my biggest dream any more. My new dream is to find ten thousand diamonds! I am a quite social dwarf and I like to speak with other dwarfs, actually everybody except elves. I can talk to them too but they are not realy my friends! I have only met a nice elf once and he saved my life when I was a child! I was attacked by two orcs and there was nobody in sight but then he came with bow and arrows and shot them both down in less than three seconds! He was one of my two best friends who left Aegis with me! My other friend was a dwarf man in my own age. We were neighbours since we were babies. He lived in the same cave but was never a good miner. He was only a good blacksmith. I sold ores to him and he made tools of them. Now Im traveling around the land and looking for a place to stay on for a while and mine some ores and stone!
I am a generous dwarf who sometimes lets my axe speak instead of my tounge. Thats not often but if somebody would rob me I would do what I could to not kill the robber but defend my self. I got robbed on my trip to Asulon. It was three robbers against me, it was after the orc attack. I did not kill them but I hurt them enough ti make them out of battle form. Then I left them there, in the middle of a dessert. Im not sure if the zombies took them in the night but I dont care. They had food to come home or to a nearly village.
What are your Character's ambitions?:To find ten thousand diamonds is my biggest dream but finding a new ore or a mineral was my dream as a child!
What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc):
My favorite tool is probably my pickaxe but I also like my axe... Lets say that the pick is the best!
What is one of your Character's most skilled talents?My most skilled talent is mining, I was once the best at it but now I'm not sure of how good I am. It is much harder to be best with so many dwarves.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?
I would say: What are you two masters doing to this little 'afling. I would talk to them and ask the 'alfling what they did. If he would say that they were robbing him I would ask them why and tell them that they have to leave him alone or they would need to deal with my axe! If they would be hostile I would try to keep them bussy with me as long as the 'ailing would need to escape, then I would knock them down and hurry off. Though, I prefer not to fight unless provoked,
Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?
"'Ello there, ye' got aneh' good picks, perhaps an' enchanted wan! I'd be willing to pay ye' 200 mina sir'" If he didn't have any picks, Grein would ask " Got anew' cooked steak? Ye' know dwarfes get very hungry down in ye' old mines" If the merchant had any of the wares he was looking for he would gladly pay.
Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:The iron is easy to find in the mines and the gold sword would be useless in almost any hands but especially not in a dwarves hands because we only ( mostly ) use axes. Nothing I would need. I would leave it there and hope that it is getting found by another person who needs it better than I would. It would also be heavy to carry around in the big ol' forest!
Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?
I stay and eat with them and ask if I could sleep there over the night. We spend the night talking about our lives and adventures, this is what I love the most trading stories is a real nice way to get the' know some one! The next day I'd ask them where they are going and if they are leaving towards a mine i'd gladly come with them! If not I would ask if they have a map, I would gladly trade it for some iron or gold.
You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:I go and find the captain of the town guards and tell him that I would love to fight for the town. I would fight and when they would pay me I would say: I dont need anything you have. I am a dwarf with loads of ores and stone. I can sell that and get the money you offer me, anyway it was an honor to fight at your side! I do almost hope that they return so that we can beat them again! But, I'll probably regret later not accepting the reward, it's always nice with some extra ale..
