Day 1 "I've decided to keep a journal of my thoughts, lest my mind whither and rot from within due to the aggressive nature of my own discord... I've noticed lately, as we've lived later on in Asulon... People tend to become more and more... Hostile, to put it lightly. Someone says the wrong word, they are stabbed, someone is born into the wrong house, they're decapitated, someone is birthed as the wrong race, they're hunted like animals. It greatly disturbs me. I've yet to meet an un-biased man or woman in our world ever seince we've let Aegis. Aegis did hold some ill will between races, certainly, but not to such an extreme. One curious thing I noticed is the lack of hostilities between the monsters of the Night... The zombies, the skeletons, the spiders, everything. They bicker not amongst each other. No, they focus on their main goals- Killing us. It leads me to beleive that those beasts are better than us in some ways... Many ways, even... It makes me wonder, had we not been so focused on our hatred for other races, if Aegis would not be such an unholy place? It's odd... Creatures made from un-holy magics are the most civil and kind beings towards their own kind, whether they be skeleton or zombie... Yet we, the supposed greater races of the world, can't speak a work without gutting each other. It is indeed pathetic.... Perhaps we are the true unholy ones. What evidence makes us the superior beings? It is odd... "
