Name: Branaford Fairheart
Current
Age: 50
Sub-race
(if any): southerner
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): Branaford lived in the
city of Asulon. His father Rikard was a former peacekeeper, and his mother
Helaya was a female blacksmith. His father, as a former peacekeeper was a very
and corrupt man, He began serving as a peacekeeper at the age of 20, the year
in which Branaford his only son was born. He began as a naive peacekeeper who
eventually did want to keep the peace of Asulon, but as soon as the peace
keepers became corrupt so has his father. His father was accused of various
heinous acts, like murder and theft. When Branaford was 5 the peacekeepers disbanded.
As soon as the peacekeepers disbanded his father was accused of murder, and later
on sent to prison. Branaford's mother Helaya could not keep up being a single
mother so Branaford tried his best to be as helpful as possible. Branaford grew
up being laughed at and being hated by the other kids because of what his
father did. Branaford was always a smart young man though at his free time he
would read books about the monks, and the sky temple but he was generally
interested in alchemy but because his family was very unstable and poor he
could not afford to have more books.
When
Branaford was 10, the death of queen dawn arrived, and the city was in outrage
and chaos. 2 big and bald men rammed the doors of out black forge, they walked
in with the sound of the city being in chaos in the background and they said
"Aye! come here woman! I like female black smiths! lets kill her!" his mother
started running but she was pinned down by one of the men, they caught eyes and
then Helaya screamed "Branaford run!" the 2 men looked at me and said
"Come here you little Bugger!" Branaford sprinted while grabbing a
bow and a quiver full of arrows and a bag full of books, he exited the house
and started dashing through the city with chaos all around him, he grabbed the
nearest horse and started riding out skirsts Asulon.
Branaford
exited the city looking back at it and galloping away. Branaford was at the
plantations and fields out of Asulon. He was hungry so he dismounted his horse
and started picking the carrots that were on the empty farm. The farm was very
dusty and broken, and quite old. Branaford heard a scream from within the house
saying "Who's out there?" Branaford ran to a tree and hided behind
it. The man with the very old and grumpy voice came out the door saying,
"Get off my crops who ever you are!" Branaford laughed alittle since
he tricked the old man. The very ugly and poorly dressed old man went back
inside. Branaford climbed up the branches of the tree and started sleeping, his
daily routine was steal the old mans crops, climb up the tree and read a book.
One day early in the morning he went to steal the crops, while he was stuffing
the crops in to his bag the old man came behind his back turned him around and
said "Caught you" and then smacked him with a log.
Branaford
woke up in a bed, in a very small and dusty room, with his clothes and
belongings on the floor. He grabbed his bow and investigated the
house. He walked around the dusty house and then saw the old man who he stole
from in his bed laying down. He aimed the bow directly at the old mans heart.
The old man grabbed Branafords arm and pinned him to the ground and said,
"you better be careful boy."Branaford said " dont kill me please
dont please!" The old man replied "Shut up boy, you've been causing
me enough trouble as it is, now go away from here before i kill you!"
Branaford replied " I dont really have much where else to go." The
old man with a suspicious face said, "Why is that?"
Branaford replied "I'm homeless my mother maybe dead and my father is in
prison and right now Asulon is in chaos.." the old said to branaford
"Whats your name boy?" Branaford replied "Branford Fairheart
sir." Old man declared, " Listen boy you can stay here, alright just
dont do any trouble and bugger around, now let me give you a tour sigh."
The old man showed him the house and the farm, the old man stopped infront of a
dark and old stair way and said "This is the basement you are forbidden to
enter the basement you hear me?" Branaford nodded. Branaford asked the old
man "What is your name?" The old man replied "Greengo, if you
have to know."
Branaford
lived at the farm with Greengo for a while, he helped him clean the house and
take care of the plantation as a whole. The house and farm never looked better
according to Greengo. Branaford was still asking to see what was at the
basement but Greengo never let him do that. Greengo was like a father to
Branaford when he lived with him. But one day when Greengo was asleep Branaford
couldn't take it and he went down to the basement. He took a torch and
investegated through it, it was a very big library that had books about
everything including alchemy, which he so desired to find. He grabbed the book
moved the dust out of it and opened it. He looked at the cover which
said "Basic Alchemy by: Greengo harensheild" he heard noises coming
down the stairs and there was Greengo looking at him with shame. Greengo
shouted "What are you doing here boy?" Branaford replied im sorry its
just you wrote this amazing alchemy book." Greengo said, "Be quiet i
do not want you talking about that now get out of my farm!"
Branaford interrupted "Greengo im sorry you dont have to do
this!" Greengo collapsed on the floor and started crying. Branaford ran up
to him and said "Whats wrong Greengo why are you acting like this?"
Greengo replied in tears and sadness "I wanted to leave this behind! I
wanted to get rid of these things but i cant!" Branaford replied
"Greengo what are you talking about?" Greengo replied "sit down
boy listen to my story, I came from a family if alchemists my father was an
alchemist as well, it is a tradition in my family that the boys leave for 10
years to go to join the dwarven alchemy guild. I came back Married a beautiful
woman and was happy, but i kept on working on alchemy, and one day an accident
happened with one of my potions, and i killed my family in the process."
Branaford said "Greengo im so sorry." Greengo "i saw your books
boy and i saw your interest in alchemy, i'll teach this i swear."
Greengo
taught Branaford alchemy and Branaford was happy, he always wanted to be what
greengo like joining the dwaven alchemy guild, one day when Branaford was 25 Greengo
was very sick and was close to death he called branaford and said, "I have
taught you but not enough, go to the dwarven guild of alchemy and learn more,
and try to become a master alchemist, for me." Branaford said, " I
swear i will." Greengo stopped holding Branafords hand and died. Branaford
has much more to learn, and has a long way to go in order to be a master
alchemist. Branaford wandered around the world for 25 years living the life of a weary traveler, fooling around with women and getting drunk, but he never stopped being who he was he was still very clever and still very knowledgable, for example, when he was drunk he would lecture the people in the tavern about the history of the holy oren empire. Branford never stopped thinking about alcehmy, and he continued looking for the guild and learn as much as he can, he has much more to learn, in order to be a master alchemist.

alchemy guild and become a master alchemist

knowledgable, and very hyper some times, condescending and sarcastic.

1. Whilst in the mighty human
capital you notice a dark-clothed
figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within
shouting distance - what do you do?
Answer: Branaford is a very
adeventerous character so he shall look closely at
the mysterious figure by following him.
He looks closely at the
figure and might think that he is an assassin, and thinks that he might be
a mercenary sent by an enemy and that this might be part of a bigger
plan.
The assassin gets closer
to the guards, and Branaford uses a potion that will make his movements
faster.
He walks in haste to the
guards and tells them "This man who is walking towards seems
very suspicious i suggest you search him before you bring him in."
The guards reply
"The guards say piss off you dumb boy."
Branafford with
frustration just walks away and says "You better do as i say or we will
all regret this"
2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest
you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an
unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed
bandits - they appear to be
threatening him. You are armed with leather
armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?
Answer: Branaford cares about
helpless people ever since the death of Greengo and the raping of his mother.
Branafford
takes out a potions of invisibility and uses it.
Branaford
is invisible and he is calculating and planning what he can do with the bandits
in order to protect the old man.
"I
can take these 2 with one clean sweep with the long sword, since they cannot
see me they cannot know what will be coming to them."
Before
he does that he walks up to the old man and says, " i suggest you run
before these men kill you." the old man turns his ear to the side of which
Branaford is whispering to.
The
bandits suspicious of what the old man is doing come and run towards
the old man.
Branaford unleashes the
long sword. The bandits scared of a flying sword flee.
Branaford's invisibility expired.
Branaford told the old
man "You are welcome" and ran off.

Answer:
Branaford walks up to the
small man, looks at him and at his goods and says "I'll give you 10 coins
for 1 glass bottle and 200 for 20 iron."
The small looks at
Branaford with a surprised face and replies, " You being funny eh? im not
giving you that price for these sort of goods, Iron is very expensive ya
know?"
Branaford replies
"then how much shall i pay you for 20 Iron?" with a curios face
The small man replies
"1000 coins."
Branaford says in
a sarcastic tone "I do not doubt your knowledge, but i believe
20 gold inguts are 1000 coins"
The small man replies
"Aye"
Branaford asks in a very sarcastic tone
"isn't gold more expensive then iron?"
The small man says in a
very timid voice "Yes.. But listen! you've been mocking for this whole
time! i know how to bargain so dont tell me how to!"
Branaford replies,
"i did not mean to anger you, but i just simply assumed you knew that, as

The small man says
with confidence " I know just as much as any other salesman as matter
a fact! Deal take the 20 iron for 200!"
Branafford grins at the
small man and walks away.
