And if this /is/ an ooc thread, let me say, why do elves need to be peaceful and loving? That's a high fantasy archetype. Culture changes and time flows, and there are plenty of violent brutal and ruthless elves. Frankly I find the current situation of malinor more interesting role play wise.

Why do you wish to join the Ravens:    I am a Sentinel of Malinor, they are respectable, but bound by so many laws. I want to hunt criminals, not file ten reports on their biographies and daily life patterns.

Explain your life up to this point (short version):   I am young for a Mali'ame. 120. Grew up alone in the woods with my mother. Joined the Arcane Delvers as a Mageshield, and then Malinor's Sentinels. I've seen plenty of greed and corruption in that time.

He seemed fairly miffed due to you making an attempt to buy his land through the Count Jir before talking to him. All he asked was the chance to talk to you. Personally? If the good Baron's land is the potential future sight for roomier housing for us Mageshields, then I have no moral quarrel towards the purchase of his land.
