  1. Art paces around restlessly. He'd fought in wars. He'd charged into the gates of a city, cutting down motley defenders as they stared at him, wide-eyed in fear. He was no saint.

But he could kill a million men and not understand the vicious pattern he'd trapped himself in, the same pattern that had managed to break apart one family, a royal family.

The Mali'ker, the one woman who rose to a position no one could ever imagine she'd have risen to, was no saint either, she was, by no means angelic. But in the end the only crime that had mattered to her killers wasn't what she'd done, but who she was.

Art abruptly stopped his pacing. He had seen a young girl, an arrow embedded in her spine. And only a little while later, her mother hanging by a noose. And yet, people were too absorbed in the way of things to do anything about it.

"Retaliate and we have bloodshed, do nothing and we have bloodshed." He gives a dejected sigh, walking off.

  3. I personally, primarily play as a wood elf.

I honestly am leaning towards Cappy on this one. Wood Elves wouldn't necessarily always be shorter than humans, But they shouldn't be upwards of 7ft or higher. And if they were, it would most likely be explained by saying they have some Mali'aheral blood. Art is around 5'9, which is a fairly decent height.

As for general physical appearance, in RP, I can usually tell a wood elf by his non-blonde hair. The brown skin isn't really done much anyways, so while the Mali'ame may have a slightly darker complexion, It wouldn't be so tanned. The hair, from what I've noticed in wood elves ranges from reddish to various shades of brown.

Like I said, most of this is my general impression of wood elves from what I've seen.

  4. I was accepted to the Guild by Art as a MageShield.

  5. *A note is found lying under growing pile of replies.

I've been a friend and protector of the Mindlord for nearly an elven year, and not once have I seen him manipulate his powers for personal gain or political influence. Watch what accusations you make. The high council is not fit to rule, if they were, this war would not have been declared in the first place. Do not expect this to be the end of the Delver's advance, or that of our allies.

Send us a bird when you wish to discuss terms of peace.

    *The note is not signed.

  6. Art takes in a deep breath, and shuts his eyes tight. He stands smack dab in the middle of the Delver hall, motionless, eventually approached by inquizitive mageshields.

    "...Sir?"

Art slowly opens his eyes, methodically turning around, and speaking in a newly calmed tone.

"You know. A few elven months ago I was no one. A small voice in a huge crowd no one heard. I saw the corruption and rot in the Elven nation, but what could I do about it? Complain and have my words ignored."

He draws out his blade, a ring enamating through the hall as the metal leaves the sheath.

"How far one can come in such a short time, eh?"

    "Aye sir."

Art gruffly turns away...A little more target practice wouldn't hurt...

  7. Art gives Kalenz a deathly glare, then turns back out to the balcony, rubbing a noticeable dark bruise he had obtained in a sparring session earlier. He silently strides out back, taking point, and letting loose arrow after arrow into the poor training dummies to clear his mind of all distractions.
