  1. Swaine Age: 17 Gender: Male Race: Human (Half-Salvian, Half-Adunian) Status: Right hand and wrist no longer function. Description Height: 5' 7" Weight: 123 lbs. Body Type: Thin, smaller build Eyes: Greenish Hazel Hair: Curly, dark-brown Skin: A very light-tan Personality: One for little to no respect for authority, Swaine has always been a rebel. He is a man who follows his own wishes. Rebellious as he is, Swaine has his own set of guidelines he follows. Swaine has had no real parent figure to follow so these guidelines are rather... abstract but not too insane. His parents' absense has left him with a negative and untrusting look at the world. He believes in living up to your dreams; "...if one has nothing to die for, why live?..." One defining feature is his consistent sarcastic mood. A theif by nature, Swaine will never give up his steal or give into authority (though these stealings are small). Usually almost at the underhand if caught, he has no shame in running away. He knows what he does is wrong but is also nescesary for him to live on as he wants. Swaine still has a heart just don't expect him to show it to you. Inventory Clothing: Swaine wears a dark green bandana, a yellow top with a very dark green vest, black pants with an old belt, and old leather shoes. He doesn't carry much with him at all and most of everything is kept in a pouch tied to the inside of the vest so it is concealed (another is kept on the other side as well). Weaponry: The only weapon he carries is a rather embarrasing old dagger with a small crack through the back. He rarely gets into combat with anybody unless it is absolutely necessary so it is rarely used to defend or attack. It is mainly used to cut openings in pouches and bags to steal items. Further Details: There is a small leather holster just behind his wrist that holds his dagger, this allows him to slip it out of his sleeve at a moments notice and also conceal the fact that he is cutting something. (and no you Assassin's Creed fans, it is not like that; it is a simple leather strap with a buckle or two) Life Style Alignment*: Chaotic Neutral Religion: Swaine does not really have a set religion, but is not an athiest. Alliance/Nation/Home: He is nomadic but usually spends a long period of time before heading to the next area. Job/Class: Swaine is a common pickpocket. He prefers to do things more towards stealth and going unnoticed. It is generally unheard of him mugging someone. He does not know how to pick locks so does not break into buildings and houses. "What is yours is yours. Well. That is until I get to it. ..." Swaine is a con-man aswell but this isn't really his primary way of profiting, it is more oriented towards manipulating others to do as he wants. Swaine listens for important information he picks up from the streets by overhearing conversations and will use it to bargain with someone who needs it. Special Skill(s): Swaine has learned to be stealthy and quick on his feet. He can also climb well but isn't exactly from Mirror's Edge. He can think of interesting ways to get out of things. Flaw(s): He is uneducated and had no real parents to bring him up. Also, he lacks alot of strength and combat training. His strong will makes him incredibly stubborn. He is also untrusting of nearly everyone. Backstory Swaine has had a very hard life. He never really knew his parents. He wouldn't want to anyway. One of his earliest and most vivid memories is being literally thrown away at the age of 3, turning on 4. He does not know much, other than he came from a poor family and his name. His father was a proud Adunian, his mother was Salvian. Swaine believes his family lived in Salvus and was completely Salvian mainly because that is most of his defining features and also the place where he was abandoned. Since his parents had left him on the outskirts of town, Swaine had been emotionally lost. He had to rely on others while he was at such a young age. Never really wanting a home other than with his parents, he was never kept to one caretaker for a long time. He was often running away. Eventually he began developing thoughts of hate towards them for just simply abandoning him. He dropped his last name. These dark thoughts began to make him think why he should really trust anyone. From that point on, he would stop living from these kind caretakers and live on his own. At this point, Swaine was about 12. Out on the streets is where he experienced true hunger. This is where his life as a pickpocket began. Swaine refused to beg, he was his own responsibility. He stole from the markets to feed himself and stole the minas from unsuspecting patrons. Soon word spread about the young cutpurse. The theives of the city managed to lure him in. These theives became his mentors. He grew up learning how to steal and eventually became independent. Knowing he couldn't stay in one place any longer with all the attention he has brought to himself, he began moving every so often.

Character Name:"The Shade" or "Tekko Maitokiai" Character Race: Human Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary: Tekko is a rather short, thin man standing at only about 5' 1". At the age of 23, he is still rather young. He wears basically all black covering his whole body excluding his eyes and the immedeate area around his eyes and also has a black hood to make those less visible aswell. He also wears a red bandana and a red scarf. Because he conceals his whole body, not many people know what he actually looks like. Tekko means iron or armor. His name definitley does not suit him. Tekko is a weaker frail person. The only way he may fight without losing is fighting unfairly. He usually is seen using a walking stick only but that is a trick. The walking stick is a shikomizue. It hides a ninjato, his primary weapon. Up his sleeve is more, a short bow complete with special arrows that a friend designed him, some poisons that mess with the senses, and some small capsules filled with sand and mashed glass. All used for hit and run techniques. When on a larger mission, he will bring a longer bow and a kusarigama. Born into nobility, Tekko was sheltered from the dangerous outside world. Around the age of 2, he was kidnapped, most likely to be held for ransom. The criminal barely eluding the guards, must choose between keeping Tekko and allowing the guards to keep up or leaving him and getting away. Instead of the two options keeping Tekko safe, he drops him off the small tower he was hiding in and makes his getaway. Luckily, Tekko lands in a wheat cart. The cart carries him back to a local grainery where the family living there raises him. He takes their name and folows in their foot steps as a farmer. Living in the lower class, he learns the corrupt nature of the rule of the land. After he and his family live in mistreatment for 11 years, Tekko discovers something about his surrogate father. He was in a rebellious fighting force aiming to stop the feudalist forces in this part of the kingdom. His father attempts to send him away for his safety but Tekko only resists until the point where his father agrees. For the next 5 years he trained to learn everything he knows about fighting, deception, and strategy. Though they could not afford weaponry, they made their own. A ball on chain with a simple hoe on the end became their kusarigamas. They filled eggs with dust and crushed glass to blind their enemies. The frogs living in the marsh provided poison. After 5 years of his training,he gained his full acceptance to the group and was given the nickname "The Shade" after completing his final test. Another member 2 years older than him, "The Wind" became his best friend. Whenever on a mission together, they always supported each other and worked best together. The Shade always moving in and disorienting his foes while The Wind's marksmanship never failed to cripple anyone attacking. One day, The Wind developed a new weapon for The Shade, an arrow that decieves the target. It had special passages for air to pass through. The air passing through makes a noise that sounds like someone is whispering to you. The perfect quick distraction for others to move in. Unfortunatley this back fired. They were assigned to capture a guard for questioning. As The Wind shot a whispering arrow, The Shade moved in too early and was caught as the guard turned around. About to be executed on the spot, Tekko learns what it really means to kill someone; the fear, the emptiness, and the sadness. Another member, The Hammer, who was checking on them-this being a test, quickly smashed the blade of the guard the other way, shattering off the upper part. To avoid another close call, Tekko was given the blade, his Ninjato which was sharpened and modified to look like a regular walking stick. Because of his failure, he was not allowed on the next mission-to eliminate Tekko's birth father. Tekko wanting to fight, thinking he provide support arrives to be shocked. The order has been backstabbed by a member, The Flame. He gave them away in order to get himself off the hook. Everyone including the Flame was eliminated. As Tekko's father blames the village, he orders the immeadeate execution of everybody linked to the rebellious group. The Shade runs home to his surrogate mother. She and he arrange for a ride out of the kingdom to a far off land known as Asulon. The soldiers, attempting to stop the escape, fire one last arrow. As Tekko closes his eyes, he feels a weak thump hit him. His surrogate mother had shielded him. Alone and lost, Tekko only has one thing in mind: finish the mission. What are your characters ambitions?: Tekko hopes to remove the corrupt and unjust rule in Asulon and carry on the order's ideals/mission. Please provide an in-game screenshot of your skin here:It is my avatar Is there anything else you would like to say about your character:(Concerning the villan application I plan on making, one of the moral limits of this character is not to kill unless absolutely necessary and I do not plan on making him a hired gun or just jumping straight into killing his targets. Things would needed to be planned and done with others. I understand that is one of the things about the villan application, making it fun for yourself and others by adding an antagonist. It won't be me running around attempting to kill all the guards, It would be the opposing party trying to figure out the puzzle, catch me, finding out what the others with me and I have planned.) He hums when he fights to keep rhythm. Because Tekko has no real job, he earns his income through petty theft of the rich (Its like Robin Hood except you make alot more money for yourself.) and small work for those whod hire such a sketchy looking person. Just some fun bits now. He can't understand orcish language. Often times when posed with a problem or question he will tilt his head to the side. The harder the problem is, the larger the tilt is. Whenever needed to create a distraction, it would be done in funny ways such as mimicing guards, running in the rough, or committing dumb crimes. Though he is a very sneaky person, he may often give himself away because he sometimes talks to himself. Sometimes even loudly. Tekko is also fiscally irresponsible. Open-Response-Questions Each question here must be answered with a minimum of one full paragraph, and detail the scene you are given in the way it would happen in roleplay. These questions should be answered in first person. Be detailed, not short. Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? As The Shade walks through the city, trying to create a mental map for a getaway, he notices a shop keeper selling goods. Because Tekko usually uses ANYTHING, he goes to empty his wallet. The shop keeper offers him everything from food to mechanical parts to the trash. Tekko buys everything. As Tekko goes back to his home to hide all the loot, he realizes something. Hes broke again. As he puts on his mask, he grips his walking stick and thinks to himself: Better go get some more money. You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do? As the cold night went on, the walk seemed to get more and more peaceful when suddenly loud angry gibberish shatters the tranquility. Seeing the situation get worse and worse, The Shade realizes this will ruin his night no matter what happeneds. The aggressor wants violence so The Shade will deliver it straight to him. He walks over to a wooded area and throws a stone at the head of the orc. As he turns around with more rage, the dwarf runs in fear. Tekko begins to move from hiding spot to hiding spot, mocking the orc as he goes along. The orc, being able to tell the general direction of his voice, lumbers over. Tekko is amazed at the speed of the heavy orc and realizes this is a fight that he won't win too easily. He escapes behind a nearby tree as the orc continues to rush to him. He has no time to lay down a trap. Remembering the direction the dwarf went, he heads that way and lands in Stoneholm. The persistant orc is still folowing him. Tekko looks up on the wall to see the signal for guards, a bell. The orc appears to be a giant attacker so if the guards come, they will fight back. Tekko fires at the bell, first missing, then hitting on the second try, awaking the guards. Tekko slips into town and removes his hood and mask, trying to blend in with the town as he leaves the orc to the guards. Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?: (defense has no "c" in it so you guys might want to fix that) Tekko would get down to the man's level. As the man is about use Tekko's hand as a support for getting up, he'd slap his hand down then pull him up himself. Ignoring the man's complaints about how he was just "helped" him up, Tekko hands him his walking stick. Tekko gathers up the minas and gives it back to the old man. The man thanks him trying to keep a good tone. As the two part ways, Tekko realizes something. Where is his shikomizue? He rushes back the other way to the old man to retrieve the walking stick he just gave him, his concealed blade. He runs toward where the old man was walking. It is going to be a long day. Well, that was alot of writing but at least it passed the time. I guess I got carried away with the story. Sorry about the long read and thanks for reviewing it.

When thinking back, he has no memory about his life at all! He retains things such as language and his education but nothing such as names. He begins to look for information about himself other than his first name, the only thing he could remember about his life. Finding a backpack next to where he collapsed on the beach, he runs over to open it. Enclosed is a burnt book with unreadable content, various pages appearing to be plans thrown together, and some food and water. With nothing else to do but continue to search information, he continues on and eventually finds a path leading away from the beach into a forest. It was clear this was not his home. It was not to hospitable either considering there was three attempts to pick his empty pockets. He eventually made his way to a building that was somewhat near the edge of the bluff. It was a local library. It was also unattended. Perhaps it was closed? Being the most abandoned place in town, it was also the safest. Allen decided to make his home here. Having finally settled in, Allen survived the same way the town thugs did: cat burglary. He took what he could from the town and sold it for necessities. Eventually Allen needed something to keep him busy. when he looked around him to see a vast collection of books. This is how he earned his nickname Doctor. He read all the books he could and eventually grew his knowledge to that of a royal scholar. The authority of this area decided to crack down on the scum of the village. They ordered the immeadate capture and execution of the lawbreakers, no matter how severe the crime was. The library which was his home was raided. He had to make a quick escape. He made is way down to his secret cave and grabbed everything he could and put it in his backpack. The guards who quickly entered drove him back. His last resort, diving into the water. Allen was presumed dead. Enclosed in the backpack was everything he could grab: the burnt book, some of his plans and the plans he had originally, and some food and water. Awaking on a coast the next day, trying to forget about what happened to his home, he proceded to a road nearby it led to the Cloud Temple of Asulon. Stamping his foot against the ground to get the orc's attention, He slips a small dagger to the ground and kicks it towards the dwarf, beyond what the tall orc can see. The orc turns and warns to stay out of this or he will make Allen the next victim. Doing what would seem one of the least sensible things to do in this situation, he begins to mock the orc's funny way of speaking by using the accent in a lame tone. The orc had heard enough and turned to face his new target. The orc begins to prepare a powerful blow as Allen looks at the dwarf, winks, and says "I dare you, deliver the final blow" The orc moves into attack and the dwarf backstabs him. Allen tells the orc to not attack with such force without expecting to feel the same force back. As he walks away, the orc manages to complete his attack though weaker. Allen cringes, quickly recovers, and leaves the scene before the orc can get back up. Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick, looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?: As the man falls to the ground, Allen clocks his head and looks down. He gets down, near the man's level. A pause occurs as the man is waiting for Allen to do something. Allen just simply continues to ask what he was before. The man calls Allen an imbecile for his complete ignorance of the situation. After another short pause, the Doc says, "You aren't exactly in the position to be insulting people" He then procedes to go to a nearby branch, picks it up, and brings it back to the man still on the ground. The man begins to thank Allen as he gives a price for the stick and assistance (not a heavy price but a rather small portion of the minas seen on the ground. The man grunts and agrees seeing no other way of getting up soon. Allen gathers up the minas, helps him up, and collects his "reward" The man finally says farewell in an annoyed tone as they walk away. Thanks for reading and giving me the tips for the revision! 3rd times the charm. (hopefully)

He has black hair, brown eyes. He is tall and slender in his appearence. Allen stands at 2 blocks tall (about six feet) and with 120 pounds. With such a light weight and thin figure, it is a wonder how he is still alive. This light weight makes him swift/dexterous but also very frail. So frail that when he takes a single powerful blow, it can knock him out of a fight for awhile. Though he lacks in strength, he can make up for it with his intellect and knowledge on the strange red material (redstone). He can get violent went when angered but that seems to never happen. More and more often, you see him start more fights indirectly but still manages to avoid ever getting into physical conflicts through one way or another. His history begins strangely at age nine. As the sun begins to set, Allen wakes up on warm beach sand on the coast. He has no recollection of what happened the day before. The path lead to a town well placed on a bluff high above the ocean waves. This is going to be where he spends most of his life. When going into town, it seemed no one could recognise him. He applied this knowledge into many creations which he kept in a cave on the cliff side. This was his workshop. The town that became his home eventually was the thing that drove him away. What are your characters ambitions?: To find the secret of the original plans and the burnt book and wherever this new place takes him could open up more.
