  1. Request Of Clerical Change

To the leaders of the Brathmordakin Clergy,

As of right now, the clergy sees any public mention of gods outside the pantheon of the Brathmordakin as heresy and demands it to only be mentioned within privately owned areas. Runesmithing is currently the only way the established Brathmordakin have provided the dwedmar people's with holy magic yet the ability to request their presence in areas of quenching of the unholy fires is rare. When land is corrupted, it takes time in removing the scars as they are called and too the clergy not having the means to apply holy magic.

I propose that, in the purpose of using holy magic within the dwarven lands, it not be considered within the realm of heresy. To purge unholy grounds, prayers are incanted, seals prepared, and the need to speak of non Brathmordakin gods are required in the ability to channel one's patron. Currently the aspects which the Druii praise is outlawed though they revive lands and bring growing pastures for animals, holy orders as the Golden Lions and the Ascended are unable to lawfully protect the descendants when unholy incursions happen.

I hope to have a senate meeting with the prophets of the clergy to discuss this petition of change. The pious only seek to protect and heal.

Clan Father Dangren Starbreaker, Member of the Order of The Golden Lions

((Feel free to post, just keep it within the topic, message in your post a good time for you so we can try to set a time up. I am good on Friday through Sunday. Also posting this from phone))

    • Do you hold / have you held any other staff positions?: Nope

    • Where do you grab inspiration from?: I read a decent amount of books and youtube a lot of D&D ideas.

    • What are your characters? Are you willing to sacrifice any to become a Event member?: I have Dangren Starbreaker, I do not believe his character arc is finished or is reaching its finishing point as of right now.

    • What race, or group, do your events best cater to? My events would best cater to the ones who never feel like their character is useful or they are at the back end of an event, only able to watch. The ones who are never told about an event and only run to the location to be able to see what is happening. Though many do not want people to be snowflakes, every character deserves at least 15 minutes in the  limelight.

    • What do you believe are key factors for a successful event?:  Friendship. No one wants to be outright killed by the event team and the event team just want to weave a page into the continuing story that is Lord of The Craft. Working with players in making events, not pushing your ideas onto a player base. Communication. Every relationship needs communication, talking with the people who want certain events or even being lead by a more senior member of the team to play a lesser role in their event storyline.

    • What strengths could you contribute to the team?: I listen more than I talk and I write events that I think could work on the server.

    • Why do you want to be part of the team?: To create fun and interactive events.

    • Create three distinct event scenarios based on the servers lore that you would organize.

      • 1) For 1-3 person: I message some people to get on a small boat and go fishing. I then play as a large fish. The large fish entices the person to capture it. The large fish causes the boat to tip over and the fishers have to fight the fish in the water or swim back to short. If three people, cause some friction by placing a boat in the water, only two people can pilot a boat. Who would be the odd man out?

      • 2) For a group of 5-10: Someone is causing the statues in different areas to come alive and attack the people nearest to them. Statues are traced back to a crazed golemancer in a tinker lair suited with different redstone traps and secret tunnelways.

      • 3) For a group of 20+: A charm found after killing a witch has caused the new wearer to take the identity of the witch and the new witch is spawning creatures in larger and larger quantities to attack people and corrupt the land. Introduces a multistage eventline.

    • How long do you plan to stay in the ET?: Until massah releases lat from chains. Five months or more.

    • Tell me a joke: The attack power of my ferum warhammer.

    :Event Six:

The Picts slow down their assault on Britannia as the northerners begin to settle down in burnt cities. Establishing families and causing only a trickle of the once mighty armies of the north to continue south. Reports come in that something has happened in Gaul and several thousand displaced people are returning to Britannia. What could be happening in Gaul?

    -Northern Romani Republic-

The church is finished as many people focus on building the structure. Time will need to be set aside to construct the port along the coast.

Court is held, many families arrive to the forum with daughters and sons. Beauties and future commanders. Heads of different families speak to one another, attempting to impress others with their family lineages and wealth. Men and women of all kinds stand gossiping about who Vibius will choose to be his wife. Four women from the best families present their daughters. With wood gathered from the lumberjacks, a new market place is slowly built. Some time will need to be set aside to allow for the many thousand saxons to effectively trade within the market.

With the winter lasting for so long, many grew closer to their families. The elderly to their offspring and child to animal. Man and wife grew even more comfortable with one another in the harsh winter weather, allowing for more procreation to occur. As winter breaks and more life arises, so do the cries of thousands of young babes throughout all of Britannia.

Population increases drastically by roughly 1,500 across several established towns.

Fathers are called to their homes, causing militaries to grow much more slowly.

News of the Picts crossing Hadrian’s Wall spreads to the many tribes in the south. Dismantling fortifications and using confiscated armor from the two  lost cohorts of Scorion Aprilius. No word has come back if any legionaires under his command are alive.

    -Kingdom of Progressionia-

Not as trained as those of the Crimson Hawk Tribe, the tribe barely brings in enough food to cover the fishers and their families getting food.

Large amounts of wood is harvested from the large northern forests. Enough to make several large projects. (Hundreds of boats/Multilayered wooden palisade/Thousands of Spears)

A large army of men painted in dark blue and blood with the skeletons of small animals wrapped around them and patches of sewn animal fur, encamp themselves two miles from the edge of the town. One large group of men, consisting of 25 to 30 Picts moved toward the town. They stop a quarter mile away and five men from the group walk toward the gate. It seems to be a Pict chieftain. In a dialect of celtic and gaelic they speak to a slave roman who translates a speech 100 feet from the town. “All those who wish to fight us come and die! We wish for roman blood and those who breed with those swine! Blood will pour into your streets and the rats will feast on your carcasses! Your mothers will mourn your death as they see their entrains extruded from their bellies! Your babes will eat your eyes and your dogs will eat your toes! We are your death!” The group back themselves up slowly and head to the group of men before walking back into the forest. As the people ponder about speech, the town is suddenly surrounded by hundreds of Picts, in complete war paint. People scream and blades thrash about. Hundreds die within the first hour of this continuing slaughter. Thousands flee while many try to defend the onslaught. The Kingdom of Progressionia is destroyed.

    -The Kingdom of Uldera-

The scouts find a town of about 600 people. Poor and destitute. Most of these men and women from Britonian backgrounds with roman influences causing them to be mainly Christian.

The gold mines stream wealth into the town’s coffers causing the leaders of the town to want pieces of the wealth.

Excess gold is poured into the marketplace allowing the option to buy several rare products

Oman begins to list down the traders and other merchants who have adopted the trading of coins for product. Happiness rises as people trade what they want and have a proper medium to conduct trade. Counteracting the discourse for the taxing of the market.

The men who cut the lumber outside of the town would cut down several acres of trees. Jaroth would notice and inform the king in a short letter, “Yarvon, leader of the Embran people, our wood cutters have cut large swaths of trees from the land, we must replant what we have harvest or I fear the balance of nature and man will be upturned.”

Pelts are sewn by the women of the tribe into large fur tunics for every man in the village to wear in the winter weather as they work the land.

The plant would seem to have no current herblore to it. With winter about, most plant based crude research is stalled. Garon would also be seen sleeping as his energy runs low in the winter like that of nature, after the community meetings. He might have more knowledge on the subject of the plant.

Men join the first cohort of Romulus I as it is a source of a steady supply of money and food. Hunters trade in their hunting bows for those of better Romani quality.

Isolation was their way and they vowed to keep it. Several attempts at burning supplies aimed at building the port are executed, causing much of the material that would be used to burn in several spots in and around the city.

Though isolation was their identity, so was religion. The people willingly build a large community church with stolen wood from the port construction.

Uldera used to be an average tribe back in the day but when Rome came around they were in for a rude awakening. They were quickly defeated and became but simple servents to Rome. For centuries they paid taxes and had their gold mine taken away from them. In more recent years however, Roman power has become weak on the island. Because of this old tradition came back and the people slowly gained a sense of self worth. Christian churches were destroyed and all who followed it's faith were hunted down like dogs. Once a small village in a rich province they grew to a chiefdom that ruled itself under the Romans and from this they slowly started to call themselves kings again. Now, the current king Alfred seeks to rebuild what once was and bring Uldera back to glory.

Hunters and wood collectors alike begin to disappear as they reach deeper into the forests. Morale of being outside the town decreases heavily and much of the population wishes to stay within their homes. Meat is collected and large amounts of wood are used to set community bonfires, but more wood is needed to allow for less deaths this winter.

The plant is discovered to have the ability to produce mild numbing to pains but causing catatonic effects for a short period of time. The people successfully collect wood to keep themselves warm this winter and enough to build a few projects. The island seems packed with trees but much of the fauna is small. Mainly rabbits and other small mammals dwell within the woods. With these many small rodents around, people make rabbit and ferret stew.

Fresh iron ore is delivered to the smithies across town to produce swords and basic tools. New weapons are sent directly to the training yard to give to the roman recruits after their basic training is done. Though their weapons are fresh, armor must be produced to shield the men from enemies. (2AC to make lorica segmentata)

The winter winds creep into the homes of the northern tribes, one that bites.

  14. "Thanhium absorbs heat and transforms it into mana, and the larger the crystal or ore, the more heat it draws in and thus the more mana it is able to hold. However Thanhium as a simple mineral is unable to regulate the amount of heat it attempts to draw in, and thus exposing the Thanhium to a massive amount of heat, will cause it to overload and release its mana in anyway it can - a large explosion. The size of the thanhium crystal absorbing the heat determines at which point it will explode, and how large the explosion will be. A large crystal will need a significant amount of heat in order to detonate, and likewise a smaller crystal will need less heat to detonate, but the explosion would be significantly less destructive." -Benbo

In other terms, you cannot melt thanhium.

Short Backstory: With the Empire seeming to crumble, and people scared, a group of like minded men gathered, and rose before the scared masses. The masses, with little else to follow, followed the men. The men worked together to guide the masses to safety, and security. They led them to the Isle of Wight. With the ocean surrounding them on all sides, the masses felt that perhaps they could be secure once more. With less worry in their hearts, and a group of strong leaders before them, the masses calmed, and the people began to once more act for the betterment of their civilization, rather than personal survival.
