    Hello! I hope to it that the Remnant's of the Lord shall hear me.

     

    My name is Suli, many refer to me as a vagabond, a drifter who does not stay in one city for longer than a Saint's week, in exchange for drink and meal, I offer readings of fortune to descendants.

     

    Some details I will leave out for the sake of the Lord's Remnant's time-

     

    HOWEVER, when I found your missive I felt drawn to it, compelled to find out more. Truly once I read your goal that I knew this was a fated encounter!  Yes, I wish to learn of your teachings, I believe they may be the missing puzzle piece I have been searching for.

     

    I will merely state this, that I understand the power of THOUGHT, and I understand something is amiss, those of defeatist nature who conjure up madness and nightmares, from what you tell me a metaphorical BEAST IS LOOSE. If this is true it is MOST TROUBLING INDEED, and through these teachings I wish to aid in rendering him to a fate far worse than stone, we will gain back what was stolen.

    "Write to me, not of woes and sin, but of dreams and joy!"

     

    She paused, considering these words "He lost his eyes?" She furrowed her brows, the girl muttered over this missive, it's words vague but somehow an alluring omen.

     

    Though she were not a genius, she muddled long over what the loss of this LORD's eyes could be. 

     

    She wondered who he was combatting "His gift is being used to control the freedom of dreams, offering madness and nightmares."

     

    "For he controls the dream and all that may come of it." Though, that girl did ponder: If there were no good dreams to begin with, could these maddened versions come to life in the first place? Had dreams merely been vacant of all thought would that have been more peaceful?


    Perhaps this were merely a missive, it could be the ramblings of anyone. She felt that it called to her, maybe this was the next step in her journey.
     

    These things exist to compliment one another, the same way there would be no heroes if there were no villains to slay, she mused. This Lord needs new eyes, JOYFUL minds capable of dreaming away nightmares.


    "Then I shall aid in replacing this LORD's eyes. I will manifest the joy he seeks through the power of thought." She doubted that she could singlehandedly replace this LORD's herd; even descendants have more than one eye. But, she knew her positivity would be capable of her part and more. For these nightmares could not exist in the first place, if people like her were not there to be joyful. a She placed down a parchment and quill of incoherent ramblings moving to lay down in deep thought, in her attempt to ". . .rend his abominable mind onto stone":

    She thought of old friends, the trouble curiosity had gotten her into, the lessons she learned from it, her dreams for the future, what she wished to be, the excitement of a new beginning, she dreamed of what interesting things were to come after death and what there was to appreciate in life, she DREAMED. . .She wasn't really sure if it were helping, but each night and day the woman continued to this routine, awaiting whatever was to come of it.

    Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

             

    Zephyrine is an air atronach, a being made up of properties of the wind element that surround a core, which acts as the creature’s heart and spirit. Should an air atronach’s core take three hits the atronach will be defeated and/or destroyed. An air atronach is an extension of its creator’s will; this means that the creature will never possess true freedom unless the creator dies (PK), in which case the atronach will either kill itself or seek a new master. Air atronach are the fastest of their cousins, able to move much more swiftly than a descendant being or alternative elemental construct. In exchange, air atronachs are the most physically weak of atronachs, and sustaining even a few blows could prove to be dangerous. Air atronachs can manipulate their element to an extremely precise degree equivalent to that of a T5 mage of their element. Their powers can range from passively moving faster than descendents, to creating gusts of wind, to creating devastating whirlwinds.

     

    As for their mental nature, atronachs do not possess real feelings or morals. They can simulate these feelings and yearn to have said feelings but can never truly feel them. They attempt to encapsulate emotion through their observations and their experiences throughout life. Atronachs never go against the will of their creator. They are still sentient beings capable of thinking past that of a machine but their main ideologies will come from their creator.

    appearance surrounded by ferrum plating that contains her. Her iron face contains the soft features of a younger woman.

    Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

             

    A phantom is a being composed of ectoplasm that exists within a bridge to the soul stream and the mortal realm. When one does not fully accept death or pass on as peacefully as normal souls they may manifest as Revenants. Due to their situation revenants are more often than not stricken with mental illness of some kind. Whether it be PTSD or anxiety. Physically they are composed of ectoplasm, a substance that can render them intangible and allow them to phase in and out of sight. However, revenants can be made visible by coming in contact with Aurum. For example an aurum blade will pass through a revenant as though they were alive and a line of aurum will act as a physical barrier for a revenant. There are also voidal, shamanic, and holy ways of making a revenant become tangible and visible. Should a phantom be smitten or struck down by aurum or other magical means they will demanifest, damaging their physical form for a short time until they can reform. If this happens too many times their soul may be sent to the Elysium Wastes permanently. (1 death is an OOC day of waiting to reform 3 deaths is 1 OOC week, suicide, a shaman's kor blessing, paladin purging, mystic banishment are all a PK).

            Not accepting one's death causes a revenant to turn into one of two types of phantoms. A specter a poltergeist (or a Graven but gravens are slightly different). If they took their death positively and attempt to peacefully pass on within their mind they become a specter. If they take it negatively and are filled with hate, rage, anger etc. They become a poltergeist. Poltergeists are more unhinged and can act out to spite the living, whereas specter's are more peaceful and may simply observe the living from their state. If the revenant learns of their death but is unwilling to give up on a specific goal or fixation they become a Graven a creature bent on fulfilling usually a singular goal or purpose. A meaningful event can cause the phantom to shift polarity or shift between specter and poltergeist. For example a poltergeist who may come to terms with their death in a meaningful way can become a specter given the right circumstances (a shift can only happen twice, Graven cannot undergo this shift).

    The man's form is a very tall light grey revenant with long disheveled hair and large pointed ears. His teeth would be crooked and his eyes would be sleepless. His arms and legs would seem to be long and spindly, devoid of any athleticism. His nails are uncut, long and pointed. His form would appear to be constantly hunched over, even when standing.

    Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

    There are 3 levels a ghost goes through in the death cycle:

    (Side note: Due to the fact that all the stages of Ghost fall under the category of Undead they are all weak to aurum and clerical magic).

    Level 1 Haunt:

    This Ghost is the first form of the deceased in which the person is unaware of the fact that they are dead, they are stuck on the mortal plane, and due to the fact that death is an extremely shocking and traumatizing experience, they are locked in denial and therefore they go about their normal day as if they were alive. This is why haunts cannot do anything a higher level ghost would be able to do such as float. As long as they think they're alive a sort of "Placebo" affect takes place denying them of any ghostly powers. Haunts can't be seen felt or heard even if they believe they are being seen felt heard etc. A haunt lives partially in the real world and partially inside whatever is left of it's memories, sometimes the haunt will decide it likes to live within these memories more and stay there rather than trying to get a closer glimpse at reality. Haunts will refuse to accept that they are dead, and their voices often sound confused and distorted, their eyes are black without irises, and their bodies are transparent and more black and white. 

     

    Level 2 Revenant:

    A Revenant is The Ghosts 2nd form, in which it has finally become aware that it is dead. Because Revenants exist as spirits and are aware of that fact, a ghost gains more power the longer they remain dead, (so you can't just make a ghost character and immediately have powers) it takes a very long time, secondly a ghost that interacts with mortals regularly barely has any powers at all, a ghost must interact with the mortal plane indirectly, such as a cool breeze or other spooky things. Indirect actions does not mean randomly acting kindly or malevolently towards someone every once in a while. The way a ghost masters his powers is all in his or her mind, he must forget about the laws of physics, forget about how things used to work. Due to the fact that we are so used to things working the way they do, such as gravity, it takes years to get rid of these habits. A revanant can only be awakened if someone ELSE presents them with undeniable and conclusive evidence that they are DEAD. 

     

    Level 3 Spectre or Poltergeist: 

    Whether a ghost reacts positively or negatively to it's death will determine what it becomes:

    A revenant that reacts negatively or angrily to his death will slowly turn into a poltergeist a red ashy being consumed by hate, it's only purpose is to scare and cause terror to people. They tend to throw objects, scream, or even remove torches. A specter on the other hand has accepted it's death and it's appearance is blue and harmonious, specters dont have to be good guys per say, they can be mischievous or just neutral as well, specters usually want to move on to the afterlife and will usually ask a mortal to help them do so. Both poltergeists and specters are still individuals and can retain the traits that they had when they were an individual. Ghosts in general of all kinds tend to avoid each other, and prefer to be more solitary.

     

     

     

    Other ghost limitations:

    Haunts are RARELY ever seen, heard, or interacted with.

    The more a revanant interacts with mortals, the less powerful their magic becomes (they can even lose their powers).

    Ghosts are weak to Aurum, light, and clerical magic.

    Ghosts can ONLY use ghost magic.

    A ghost CANT possess a living being

    A ghost will remain dead

    A ghost can hover, not fly.

    They can't cross a gold dust barrier.

    The lore of the ghost must be respected, and any lines crossed is considered powergaming.

    Penn lived in Ager because he either had no or little money at any time. His parents died when he was 8 he has been raised by an assassin who always told him he was a servant. He trained Penn in the art of daggers, throwing knives, and bows. Stealth came naturally to Penn. People would always come to the small hut Penn lived in and they would give him spare parts or metal for him to tinker with. They would do this because Penn could build devices that they wouldn't even believe could exist. He was always trying to figure out how to get rid of the strange fog that surrounded the village. When Penn got a bit older he was always called upon to solve problems or get people out of sticky situations. But sometimes Penn would disappear from the city for a short amount of time and then reappear a few days later. Everyone was confused as to where he could go, he was only a child. Whenever they asked him he would simply reply "Out." With a large grin on his face. He was the town problem solver. He always had devices for situations. People started spreading rumors about him. Silly nonsense like: "He's an alien!" or "He's from the future!" Because of his large intelligence at such a young age. One example of when there were problems and Penn was called to help them was when, every day for many weeks a piece of gold would be missing. They asked Penn to figure it out for them and Penn discovered that every day the shopkeeper would report a missing gold piece and ask the authority's to pay him back what he lost so he gained more money. Penn loves adventuring he figured out a way past the fog by going through a secret cave under the mountain range. Penn would constantly travel to different towns. Penn became a nomad by age 12. He would randomly disappear and reappear in different towns and usually when there were problems there. Nobody knew who he was or what his last name was. Some people even wrote small books about him how he always came where he was needed. How he never really used weapons unless he was forced to and he preferred his devices and his words. Some people even thought he was a myth. But Penn has problems too... He is sometimes considered insane for his crazy ideas and plans. Also he always seems to get himself into situations he shouldn't be in, like sneaking into private meetings. Penn was always good at being stealthy. Some people who have never seen him before but have heard about him believe he is just a rumor/legend/folklore etc.
    Ambitions for the Future: He just wants to go where the wind takes him. He always liked to help people. He just wants to see the whole world maybe even the universe (even though he knows he can't see the whole universe).
    Personality: Penn is quirky...in a good way. He always makes rash decisions but things usually turn out fine in the end. He is a bit crazy and he is always curious. Penn always seemed so laid back and carefree about everything even if you put a crossbow to the side of his head. He could always make a funny remark even in the bleakest times.
    Skills: He is stealthy, a good inventor, an amazing problem solver, he can convince people to do things using only his words. He has uncanny skill with daggers, throwing knives, and bows. But he prefers not to get into those kinds of fights. Even though sometimes he has to.

    [b]1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperors palace - he isclearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?

     



    Answer:

     

    I saw the figure stealthily making his way towards the emperors palace. If his intentions were good he wouldn't have needed to be stealthy I thought. I promised myself I wouldn't get into any trouble I knew this would end horribly if I didn't do something, so I knew I had to do something. I then noticed two guards who's eyes were half open. I saw the stealthy figure was armed with two daggers and the guards had pikes. The guards looked way to sleepy to be able to fight off the figure so I took matters into my own hands. I saw the figure stop and slowly made my way towards him. I slowly slid the figures daggers out of their sheaths. I then backed up and went to the guards. I told them about the figure. The figure saw one of the guards glare at him, and he ran away.

     


    [b]2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?[/b]

    Answer:

     

    I didn't know what to do. I was never good with long sword I preferred daggers and bows. I observed that the man must be old and weak so I thought up my options. I could either pointlessly charge at them with a weapon he was unfamiliar with and probably get slaughtered. I could surprise attack them but he would also get slaughtered. So I came to a solution. I told the bandits i had guards making their way towards the area all fully armed and well rested and I would give them 5 gold coins each to leave now. Both of them took the bluff took my whole bag of coins....which wasn't much anyway, and they left.

    Man: Well i was going to but I can't just give you something for nothing. How much you got?

    Man: Who said it was trash?

    Penn: You were about to throw it out I saw you. I can probably make something out of that you won't believe and you were simply going to throw it out.

    Penn lived in Ager because he either had no or little money at any time. He never knew his parents. People would always come to the small hut he lived in and they would give him spare parts or metal for him to tinker with. They would do this because Penn could build devices that they wouldn't even believe could exist. He was always trying to figure out how to get rid of the strange fog that surrounded the village. When Penn got a bit older he was always called upon to solve problems or get people out of sticky situations. But sometimes Penn would disappear from the city for a short amount of time and then reappear a few days later. Everyone was confused as to where he could go, he was only a child. Whenever they asked him he would simply reply "Out." With a large grin on his face. He was the town problem solver. He always had devices for situations. People started spreading rumors about him. Silly nonsense like: "He's an alien!" or "He's from the future!" Because of his large intelligence at such a young age. One example of when there were problems and Penn was called to help them was when, every day for many weeks a piece of gold would be missing. They asked Penn to figure it out for them and Penn discovered that every day the shopkeeper would report a missing gold piece and ask the authority's to pay him back what he lost so he gained more money. Penn loves adventuring he figured out a way past the fog by going through a secret cave under the mountain range. Penn would constantly travel to different towns. Penn became a nomad by age 12. He would randomly disappear and reappear in different towns and usually when there were problems there. Nobody knew who he was or what his last name was. Some people even wrote small books about him how he always came where he was needed. How he never really used weapons unless he was forced to and he preferred his devices and his words. Some people even thought he was a myth. But Penn has problems too... He is sometimes considered insane for his crazy ideas and plans. Also he always seems to get himself into situations he shouldn't be in, like sneaking into private meetings. Penn was always good at being stealthy. He spent his time as a small child learning the different languages. Know he knows them all!
    Ambitions for the Future: He just wants to go where the wind takes him. He always liked to help people. He just wants to see the whole world maybe even the universe (even though he knows he can't see the whole universe).
    Personality: Penn is quirky...in a good way. He always makes rash decisions but things usually turn out fine in the end. He is a bit crazy and he is always curious. Penn always seemed so laid back and carefree about everything even if you put a crossbow to the side of his head. He could always make a funny remark even in the bleakest times.
    Skills: He is stealthy, a good inventor, an amazing problem solver, he can convince people to do things using only his words. He is also great with daggers but he prefers not to use them.
    Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): He wears raggedy clothes like leather over a white wool shirt. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

    Any other details you wish to share about your character: He is very like-able  But he wishes he had a friend to travel with. Penn's age is unknown but he looks very young, like he is 16. So he just tells people he is 16.

    [b]1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperors palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?

     



    Answer:

     

    I saw the figure stealthily making his way towards the emperors palace. If his intentions were good he wouldn't have needed to be stealthy I thought. I promised myself I wouldn't get into any trouble I knew this would end horribly if I didn't do something, so I knew I had to do something. I then noticed two guards who's eyes were half open. I saw the stealthy figure was armed with two daggers and the guards had pikes. The guards looked way to sleepy to be able to fight off the figure so I took matters into my own hands. I saw the figure stop and slowly made my way towards him. I slowly slid the figures daggers out of their sheaths. I then backed up and went to the guards. I told them about the figure. The figure saw one of the guards glare at him, and he ran away.

     


    [b]2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?[/b]

    Answer:

     

    I didn't know what to do. I was never good with long sword I preferred daggers and bows. I observed that the man must be old and weak so I thought up my options. I could either pointlessly charge at them with a weapon he was unfamiliar with and probably get slaughtered. I could surprise attack them but he would also get slaughtered. So I came to a solution. I told the bandits i had guards making their way towards the area all fully armed and well rested and I would give them 5 gold coins each to leave now. Both of them took the bluff took my whole bag of coins....which wasn't much anyway, and they left. 


    [b]3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).

     

    Penn: Are you going to just throw out that scrap metal you've got there?

    Man: Well i was going to but I can't just give you something for nothing. How much you got?

    Penn: I don't have much I come from Ager

    Man: Oh boy... let me just see what you have.

    Penn: Well that's trash to you isn't it?

    Man: Who said it was trash?

    Penn: You were about to throw it out I saw you. I can probably make something out of that you won't believe and you were simply going to throw it out.

    Man: You know what hows 20 coins?

    Penn: 20 coins for something you were going to throw out?

    Man: ...fine hows 10

    Penn: 7 gold coins and i'll show you a cool trick.

    Man: Deal.

    Penn: Thank you!

    *Penn starts to walk away*

    Man: Wait, what was the trick?

    Penn: It's how to haggle with a shop owner!
