Malinor Reform Movement

*several posters are put up across the elven lands - inside and outside of the capital* Subjects/Servants of the Malinorian Government, It is with great regret that we be forced to put up these notices but we believe it has become necessary to save the great nation that was - and will be - Malinor. These past months the nation has made a number of changes - most all of which have begun to lead it down a path that will only spell disaster for our beloved nation. We, the Malinor Reform Movement, are committed to restoring Malinor to its previous glory and grandeur without sacrificing that which makes Malinor great! As it stands the High Council wishes to make you dependent entirely upon them for your livelihood. By forcing the citizenry to use the currency known as 'malins', they have managed to make you subservient to them should you wish to purchase such basic needs as a home or food. These mailns are not accepted anywhere else in the world, making them a pure creation of the oppressive High Council that restricts you to only purchasing from them and at their leisure. If you no longer want to be subservient to the High Council which wishes to control your livelihood within Malinor then stand with us! As it stands the High Council votes in new members themselves, allowing them to keep their friends and those that wish to maintain this oppressive hold on the citizenry with them. There is absolutely no accountability of the High Council to the citizens as the citizens have no vote in deciding their own leaders! If you want a more accountable and less nepotistic government that is elected by YOU and not by those in power then stand with us! As it stands the High Council's extreme views of wishing to enforce Elven purity and self-importance have soured any chance of maintaining peaceful foreign relations with other sovereign states. Is this a responsible action of the unelected High Council? No! It is self-defeating and will only lead to a negative conclusion. If you want the government of old that won respect throughout the international community as a bastion of tolerance and kindness then stand with us! As it stands the High Council has perverted the laws of the land - twisting and sometimes outright disregarding them in their decisions and actions. They have little respect for their own laws and bend them to for their own personal and greedy needs. No longer is free speech tolerated within this great nation - the government wishes to censor and cover-up these self-evident wrongs committed by the High Council. It is likely that these notices will be torn down by the very people we speak against. If you want a government that doesn't censor free speech and the opinions of the citizenry then stand with us! You might ask - how can we reform and restore Malinor to its former glory? or Won't we get in trouble or even imprisoned by the government for challenging it? To those questions we reply that strong oppression requires strong opposition! We the people must be brave in challenging the near tyrannical authority of the High Council! Already brave council members have resigned - the few good ones that have seen the corruption, nepotism, and wrong direction the nation has been taking and want no part of it! We must follow their example and give our demands to the High Council! What do we want? We want the immediate resignation of the High Prince who has led this nation down the wrong path! We want the immediate resignation of all High Council members and in place have a nationwide election where the people, not greedy politicians, choose their leaders! We want the immediate dissolution of the malin currency that forces dependence upon a self-serving council that reserves the best and greatest of housing and perks for themselves and restricts free enterprise of business and self-sufficiency! What can you do? Spread the word! Tell every free-thinking elf and citizen of Malinor of what we stand for! Tell your friends and family! Explain to others the pure oppression of the current administration and demand change!
