The most recent dwarf - oren war is on oren, that much I will concede to you especially since you'd been at peace with the Northern Union treaty for months. But all in all over the last 3 years the aggro has honestly been about equal on both sides.

 

And this is coming from someone whos fought with the dwarves (anthos - athera) and with Oren (athera onwards) so I've seen both perspectives more or less.

I will say this here and now that in the many instances at which I've led a significant section of the dwarves I have found myself avoiding a war with Oren because they were searching for some reason to come and conquer us. 

This fact was EXTREMELY emphasized once Oren formed an Empire and has gotten worse and worse until now.

My time on this server has been spent fighting the same enemy because at one point they were conquered by the dwarves. There is no denying it Oren OOCly despises the dwarves when at many times INCLUDING the northern allies, waldenians, and even the carrions had been friends with us. When they all form up they find a common hatred and THATS the dwarves. 

Its indisputable. The cause of this polarization is not two sided. Buck up and realize who's been the source of all the grief, destruction of player bases, and unneeded wars in the past years.

Again, am I saying Oren is blameless, no, they've abused their power to **** in the past and even near present but you insisting to your grave that our current situation is their fault and their fault alone is kind of part of the problem.

I said its been since then. I did not say in the schism war. However, the most prominent ideas of total conquer of the dwarves began there and continued in more than evident situation where excuses would be made for the Empire to declare war on the dwarves. They have been subject to it for years now. 

Dwarves for one reason or another 'allegedly' **** up and suddenly the entirety of the empire is wanting to conquer their nation and impose rulers to eliminate the player base because they saw a snow elf in the city or we said something about yemekar's balance.

It is more than evidently clear that the feud happening between the two nations was fueled by the OOC want to conquer the dwarves and finally be rid of the problem that is their player base.

No..This traces back to the schism war and even before with a legit RP term 'exterminatus' where dwarves were legitimately considered to be the bane of the server by the populous of Oren. It was upon them to completely and utterly remove us from the server and has been in various other flings and fads to try to add a notch to the belt.

There is no blaming of one side or the other the problem started exactly in Oren no where else. Don't even begin to say otherwise. All that you see in this war is a response not only RPly but yes OOCly to the frustration of the consistent OOC imperialism seen in much of the core leader player base of the empire.

Whats funny is that these concerns were not addressed when communities were torn down by Oren in OOC. Now there is a very real possibility that Oren loses and suddenly they're the ones concerned for their role-play when they time and time again refused to give any regard to any other community that wasn't under them.

He would sit quietly above the various battle plans and fragments of information regarding the war  glancing over to his set of Legionary armor hung on the wall. Quickly he stands grasping his blade and dawning his grand armor swiftly walking out the door to join his kin gathered in the city his pace set with great purpose and renewed strength.
