Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+
paragraphs long: Valvanto was born in Oren. His parents were poor, working
where they could, when they could. Their home was weak any was ready to
crumble, there food was stale this was because majority of the money they got
was used to buy the best food and clothes for Valvanto they could afford.
Although poor they dreamed that they could give their son the best start in
life as possible.
But as Valvanto became older, job opportunities became scarcer and the Carboni's money started to dwindle. When it came to the age Valvanto should have gone to school, he had
to work to feed himself instead. He went from house to house to look for any
jobs that he could do for any amount of money. At the age of 12 his mother
(Elizabeth Carboni) fell under a great illness. Him and his dad (Roberto
Carboni) were powerless to stop it due to their lack of money. Roberto stopped
working to look after Elizabeth which left Valvanto to take up a full time job.
Mr Pasquale (a family friend who Valvanto had gotten most of his jobs from)
offered him a job in his new business. His job was to stand in the street and
persuade people to shop in Pasquale's store, it didn't earn him a great lot,
but it was enough for his family to live off which was all he could ask for. He
didn't have a birthday that year, and soon after his birthday his mother died.
Roberto fell into a great depression after she died and continued not to work.
It got worst, later he didn't react to his surroundings and blanked everyone
even his son. All he did was lay in bed. Valvanto had to feed him and wash him
and as Valvanto was reaching the age of 14 his dad fell under the same illness
of his mother. Much quicker and harsher it killed Roberto and left Valvanto in
the care of Pasquale.
Pasquale had an average house, but it seemed like a mansion to Valvanto after his last house. Pasquale gave Valvanto a 2 year apprenticeships in his business where he
learned the art of trade but although he was great full even after the 2 years
Valvanto still missed his parents and felt the only escape from the past was to
move away. At 17 Valvanto moved away looking for a place to call home. He stops
in Villages and towns surrounding Oren to trade and sleep but has found know
where that he feels that he can call home just yet.
Ambitions for the Future: Valvanto wishes to find a village/town that he can call home and from which he can use his skills to makehimself a good living as well.
Personality: Through experience it has taught him that to be
polite and nice to people can be a lot more helpful that being on someone’s bad
side. He isn't shy as when he was young he had to talk to lots of people.
Always looks on the bright side of things as he knows that things can get worst
from experience.
Skills: good at Persuading and Trading
Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your

light brown eyes. His cloths tattered and too large to fit him

1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a
dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he
is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do
you do?
Answer: Valvanto is strolling through the huge human capital. A tall cloak figure dressed in the deepest black strode right in front of him making Valvanto stubble back and fall back making
sure he didn’t knock the person over. He stared at the figure that continued to
move without stopping or apologising. Looking closer at the figure he noticed
it was too tall to be human and must be elf and as he looked closer he saw a glimpse
of metal hidden under the elf’s cloths. Valvanto sprang to his feet as he
noticed it must have been a dagger and that the figure was heading straight towards
the Emperor’s palace.
Valvanto looked around vigorously for guards and saw some within shouting distance. At the top of Valvanto’s voice he shouted “Assassin”. The guards didn’t hear but the surrounding
citizens stared to get worried and shouting and screaming the guards noticed
and ran over to the rabble of citizens. Again Valvanto shouted “Assassin” and
the guards heard him. Quickly they looked everywhere but also the figure heard
Valvanto and sprinted off towards the Palace. One of the guards spotted the
figure sprinting off and pointed towards him for his the rest of the guards to
see. Half the guards instantly sprinted towards the figure and put him to knife
point the rest of the guards pushed away the citizens including Valvanto and
that was the last Valvanto saw of it.
2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a
large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an
unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed
bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour
and an iron longsword, how do you react?
Answer: As Valvanto was traveling through the forest to a
nearby town to trade for some supplies he stumbled across a large opening.
Inside the opening was a small cobbled cottage. Valvanto was drawn to it think
he might be able to trade some fur for food. But as he got closer he quickly
noticed an old man surrounded my two bandits armed with swords! Quickly he scrabbles
up to the nearest tree and pear round it to inspect the situation. He has no
skill in fighting but he couldn’t leave the old man there to suffer whatever was
to come. A plan suddenly came to Valvanto’s head. Valvanto stepped into the
opening, the bandits turned to face him and shouted “Run boy or we’ll cut you
as well”. Valvanto took another step forward, conjuring all his courage and said
back “Run boys I’ve called the guards in the nearby town on you”. The bandits
stepped back and both looked towards each other. For a few seconds they whispered
to each other and while staring at Valvanto.
Valvanto leaned in trying to make to make out what they were saying but
failed. “We’ll be back for you old man and if we see you again boy, well cut
you in two” shouted one of the bandits and they both sprinted off in the opposite
direction to where Valvanto was.
Valvanto rushed over to the old man. The man was badly bruised and stumbled back to rest on the wall behind. The man took a long breath and said “There is
no way I can repay you” the old man took a deep breath “Those bandits have been
coming here every day this week forcing me to give them my positions”. Valvanto
replied “I need of no reward, but let me help you to the nearby town where I’m
heading”. The old man took a deep breath and replied “there is no way to
describe how thankful “. He took Valvanto’s hand and lifted himself off the
wall and they headed off towards the nearby town.
3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when
you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the
stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says
that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is
willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain:
your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).
Answer: Valvanto
orbited the stall. He placed on hand on the stall table and with the other
picked up some bread. “What would you trade me for this bread” asked Valvanto staring
at the man in charge of the stall. “I’m afraid I don’t trade I only take money “the
stall man replied. Valvanto orbited the stall again and stopped next to the man
and took out some leather from his pouch “how much does this bread usually sell
for” Valvanto asked. “At least 10 Minas”. “10 Minas I could get two loathes of bread
from the stall over there with this leather”. The man laughed and said “sure
you can go over there and do that then, or I’ll give you one loath for that
piece of leather”. Valvanto knew how to trade and wasn’t going to just get the
one bread. “I think I’ll give it to the other stall and get two loathes”
announced Valvanto hoping the stall man wouldn’t call his bluff. Valvanto
walked off slowly. “Come back here boy” he heard the man call from behind him. “I’ll
give you two loathes for that leather
you have there”. Valvanto walked over lay the leather down on the stall aand
took the bread before the man could change his mind.
