In-Character Information: Complete the following biography on your character: Full Name: Orkkrin Durkkin Current Age: 50 Race: Orc Sub-race(if any): Goblin Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): Orkkrin Durkkin was an orc of the goblin blood line born to a small clan of outcast of The War Uzg and from the start life was hard. Though he was born after the events that lead to their exile he and the other young goblins were told of their history around the camp fire. According to the Elder Kidz Gromz their clan was banished because it had be accused of showing weakness and allowed outside forces to influence it such as the elven and human ideas. Because of this and their clan falling out of favor with other clans of the War Uzg as well gave them few options so they choose exile. This however, made life hard growing up every young one was taught things they would or may need to know. Among these was blacksmithing, hunting, and farming as well as their native tongue of "Blah" but also a rough common tongue as well. Traveling was possible the worst of the clan's problems mostly due in part because with out the other clans of the War Uzg to seek aid from they were at the mercy of those who sought vengence against the orcs for past crimes. These battles had there toll on the small clan as things progressed the clan started to dwindle in numbers haveing no refuge to lick their wounds at it eventually left it a ghost of it's former self. Until one night as the few remaining goblins gathered around the fire a group of human warriors attacked the camp. Orkkrin had been out gathering wood and what small bits of food he could and returned to a camp of ashes, blood, and death. Nearly broken by this loss he sought the death of the bandits who did this, so he spent that night burning the dead but he took their blood and with it marked him self dyeing his hair a crimson red and tattoos across his body. He spent the next eight years tracking them, seeking them, hunting them, but he never found them, only bits and pieces of who they might have been. However, in his travels he learned things he was a goblin outcast from orc society and not wanting to risk the cities of Elf, Dwarf, and Men he became detached from them not caring which nations were at war and finding the wilds beond them far more comfortable. However, this didn't keep him visiting small towns and villages to, if nothing else, trade what things he found in the wilds and possibly a few odd jobs. In the process he begain to learn things like how to read and write somewhat from these people he would come across. By the time he aged to fifty he had lost his desire to ever truely return to the War Uzg having no real connection to it and holding some anger toward it for banishing his clan which was what largely lead to its destruction in his mind. Orkkrin Durkkin decided that he would simple seek his own home no matter what and where it may be. Ambitions for the Future: To find a place he can belong in the world. Personality: Not one for pleasantries Orkkrin is more of a straight forword kind of person not seeing the humor in much of what anyone says along with this is he general doesn't show much care for people he considers annoying or dishonorable. He will however, show respect toward people he first meets and does somewhat go out of his way to "make nice" with people if he feels he has to other wise he will generally be more monotoned in what he says. He also can come across silghtly strange do to the fact he had practically no interaction with the orcs of The War Uzg as a young orc and thus his behavior is slightly different. Skills: Blacksmithing, hunting, and farming Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): http://imgur.com/8BZcILl&3cVhvQA Any other details you wish to share about your character: None what so ever. . . Open-Response-Questions Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point. ____ 1. You are roaming the mighty capital of the War Nation Of Uruks, as you near the Arena you spot an Orc, wearing what seems to be human garbs as he looks at you he smiles and say out loud in common not in blah “Come friend let me teach you of civilization and break your mind from this orcish savagery!”, how do you react? Answer: When I finally choose to come to an orc city to see what orcs that are not outcasted are like I did not expect to see such a sight. I am at first a little hesitant to speak to him but never the less I end up walking toward him to see what else he has to say. Not really want to take a chance I choose to speak in mostly "Blah" and if this orc is serious possibly switch to speaking more "common". So I start by saying "Ug lat gruk mi?" to which the city orc replies "Yes I do in deed understand you however, I choose not to speak such a tongue anymore." Hearing this I decide to speak a bit more common and say" Mi Orkkrin Durkkin yuz not urt in ead are yuz?" The city orc seems to catch on a little bit that I can speak common but simple replies "No my head is not hurt I have come here because I seek to elevate my kin from this savage exsistance!" So I decide to speak common with the responce "Why do you care?" In the best way I can manage and the orc simple laughs and says "Because I have seen what civilzation is my friend and I can guess that you have seen some of it to with your ability to speak common such as my self!" I simple shake my head because this orc is bothering me now so I tell him goodbye and walking away with little to do I decide I would rather go back into the wilds where I feel more at home. As I leave the city I see the city orc's head on a newly placed spear and decide that maybe being civilized isn't the best thing. 2. As you are watching an Arena fight between two Orcs, the Goj of Krug walks towards the Arena, and shouts “Mi brudderz da Feztivel ob Krug iz coummeh! We needz zacrifizez tu zummun da Zpirit ob Krug un diz uzg, go gadder da Warbandz nd raid da landz nd bring mi buck zacrifizez, twiggy nd pinky dat we kan zlauhater upun da alter ob Krug nuw go mi Brudderz!” How do you react to this? Answer: I can already see the blood and bodies and smell the burning flesh and decide I don't much like the event that is unfolding. See as how many of the orcs are leaving I simply join the crowd as it marches out of San'Orka and seem to be heading toward Oren and Malinor. I however, am not heading that way I brake off and head in the opposite direction not care what the high and mighty "Goj of Krug" wants and not really care if anyone notices that I am gone. I spend a few days wandering in the wilds not wanting to return to the city just in case they expect a captured elf or human. I only curse "Saahkah" under my breath as I hear word of orc raids spikeing against human and elven settlements. 3. As you are travelling in the barren Orcish deserts you come across a quiet oasis. Beside it sits a small tent where a young orc is preparing a meal of roasted halfling. He calls you over, offering you to join in with his meal. What does your character do? Answer: Travelling in the dessert is generally quite with no one to speak to, the cities are to loud and have to many ears and opinions to truely speak to anyone seeing this rare opportunity I accept the young orcs offer. He begins by saying "Ug mi Jorkig Norgast whu lat?" to which I reply "Ug mi Orkkrin Durkkin lat from brudda goi?" He replies with a slightly sad tone with "Dabu mi waz baniksh waz nut mi falt glob gut flat byz breedurs ik raid!" I can understand this orc better with the fact he was banished because of some fool getting killed and the blam falling on him. Being from an outcast and now dead clan I simple tell him this "Mi baniksh tu mi clan flat nuw though lat ned tu goz bak ik relly hom den go bak! Mi nut go bak mi lon nu lat go bak dai wit fu lat mi tink!" The young orc doesn't respond and after the meal we part ways I don't know if he went back but if not then a hard and cruel world awaits him beyond the desserts of the War Uzg.

In-Character Information: Complete the following biography on your character: Full Name: Orkkrin Durkkin Current Age: 50 Race: Orc Sub-race (if any): goblin Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): Orkkrin Durkkin was born to a small clan of outcasts of the goblin bloodline because they were accused of fleeing from battle with the undead. Though being born after this event Orkkrin was always told that it had no basis but the clan accusing them was far larger and stronger and thus they fled. Being ones for history Orkkrin and the other youths were taught the history of their clan, how to survive, how to repair tools, grow food, hunt, and outsmart their prey. Even though Orkkrin was not the best his father was still proud because Orkkrin was still skilled and that skill would be needed if and when they would return. However, this would not happen because when Orkkrin was ten his clan was attacked by bandits, who sought revenge for a raid that another clan had done, showing no mercy as they attacked in the dark and surprised his clan. Orkkrin be the sole survivor due to being buried under his dead family and being seen as just another dead orc. After nearly two days he crawled out weak, beaten, and scared he would have to continue on his own. He scavenged for what he could and before leaving he marked himself with the blood of his clan using their blood as ink he tattooed their memory onto his skin. He would not allow them to be forgotten even if only he would remember them. Then he left after burying them in the ground and given what rights he knew of from the stories they had once spoken. Angry at their deaths he tried tracking the bandits losing their trail and then having to find it again. Finally though he found them in a village a few days away from where his clan had been destroyed. Though he was angry and wanted revenge on them for what they had done, he was alone and after staring at the village for some time merely left deciding not to die in a hopeless revenge but to live on and bring glory for his family and clan. Thus he began to wander, to seek out the glory and valor he sought, not knowing where it was but simply wanting to obtain it. Ambitions for the Future: Find glory and valor, to find a clan he can settle down in, to preserve the history of his now dead clan. Personality: Orkkrin is generally hard headed but very loyal he will stand, even if reluctantly, by his allies. He still looks at the other races with some dislike but will not try to start a fight without reason believeing it to be dishonorable to goat a person to fight and therfore offering no glory in it. With the fact of him being an outcast Orkkrin chose not to speak much of the orc's native language instead learning and speaking a distorted common tongue. Skills: Blacksmithing, farming, and hunting Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): http://imgur.com/8BZcILl&3cVhvQA Open-Response-Questions [i]Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. I slowly walk up to him befor saying "What it you say bout savgery?" with him replying "Savagery my friend! Do you not see it around you? I have come to try and convince others to join me and follow me to other lands to other races and learning the ways of civilization!" I can only stare at him wondering how he hasn't been killed yet and mearly responding "No thank I civilazed enouf." Befor walking way leaving the city orc there to continue to try and convince others to join him. 2. I simply sit as se speaks this and I watch as the others leave I am unsure as to what I should do. I decide that I should leave the city and wander the dessert and not get caught up in this ritual that I can't really understand. So I leave without a second glance having trouble wanting to go find a fight that has an actually challangeing opponent. However, to find such an opponent may mean heading toward the Oren or beond which happens to be the same way many other orcs are going. . . 3. As you are travelling in the barren Orcish deserts you come across a quiet oasis. Beside it sits a small tent where a young orc is preparing a meal of roasted halfling. As I begin to eat the roasted halfing I happen to asked about who it was, to which the orc states that it was wandering in the dessert and half dead from the heat. While I find some humor in the story I feel slightly restless about the story. After getting my things I ask the orc if he could say which way the halfling was going and after that I set out to see if I may find an adventure and the glory that I seek.

Being able to survive the challanges of rooting out weakness, Orkkrin while lacking in the strength of his larger kinsmen had an intelligence that they were equally ill-equiped for. Useing his intelligence Orkkrin was able to goat the others into fighting each other instead of him and generally being able to talk his way out of most problems. He learned smithing to help repair tools and weapons that were broken and from fixing tools for those of his kin who farmed he was able to learn a little bit of agriculture. However, he had, had little interaction with the other races and what action he did was very limited. Even so Orkkrin became interested in learning things from them, his fellow orcs however, did not like him takeing an interest in such things and weren't very hospitable to this new habit. Orkkrin however, didn't seem to fazed though it was hard he was still and orc and orcs are not the kind of people to simply "roll over" not even for each other at times. So at the age of nineteen Orkkrin set off decideing it would be better for him to travel alone so he wouldn't trouble the others leaveing his clan behind he set off to explore the world. This however, did not last long as he found himself not really welcomed anywhere, he had never thought about how the other races would see him and he never really learned any of their customs not understanding proper greetings he would end up attacking people and getting chased away. The fact he couldn't speak the same language with any real competence Orkkrin saw it as a challenge to see if he could break through and actually learn how to live among these weaker races. Orkkrin began to watch how they would act and tried to piece what it ment such as a hand sake to them is the same as a headbutt for an orc and so on. Orkkrin began to piece things together he also found it hard to speak in the "common tongue" with his tusks so he trimmed them slightly to try and speak better however he did not remove them entirely still taking pride in his orcish/goblin heritage. After his tusks were trimmed he simply begain to wander to see places far beond the dessert and to try and find a place in the world he could call home. . . Ambitions for the Future: To find a place to call home and to be seen not only as a savage orc but also a person. Personality: Orkkrin being a goblin tries to see a few more feet ahead of himself then what other orcs might. He has some anger issues but will generaly try to suppress this anger for the sake of co-operation unless he feels there is little to gain from it. Skills: Blacksmithing, basic farming, and basic hunting Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): http://imgur.com/6ZR25Zh Though still a goblin and therefore smaller than the average orc Orkkrin is still fairly built and capable of taking care of himself. Any other details you wish to share about your character: Orkkrin Durkkin is a goblin born with red eyes and some intelligence he can still be some what simple minded generally not grasping the situation before others, though he is a compatent blacksmith and is prone to ask about agricultural aspects in the area if he spots any. So I simply ask "Hello! I understand you a bit but I must ask how you came to be here and what do you seek to accomplish here?" He responce is "I have traveled far and wide and have learned many great things that this world has and I have returned now to try and educate my fellow kin to help them progress beond this savage and unforgiving exsistance!" I can only stare at him as he beams with pride at what he says before I begin to speak "I too have traveled a bit though clearly not as much as you have, but how can you say this is savagery? We are orcs this is our nature and while I hope we eventually come to terms with the other races I don't want us to lose what we are for their sake!" At this other orcs become interested and soon theres a small group of them watching us argue back and forth about what it means to be an orc. Finally he cries out with rage "Look around at this! This pathetic rabble! The stupidity! All of it! All of it!" I simply reply to him by saying "When I look around I don't see a tribe of savage and stupid orcs I see my fellow kin and I see them the way they are." I look to the crowed that has gathered and say "How do you all feel about this? do you feel like your stupid? Or pathetic?" The crowed seems to get the idea and begins to mummble about beating the life out of the "civilized orc" to the point he seems to get so nervous he runs with all the strength his legs probably have. They just silently watches him run before laughing and begin to chase after him I simply smile and think to myself that this the way we are and its fine to be an orc. 2. So I watch as the arena roars with vigor and begins to empty I decide to try and escape from the horde by being one of the last ones out and break off from the group outside. This goes about as well as I had hoped until a few others see me running in the opposite direction! I wasn't sure if I could lose them in the dessert and so I turned around and ran past them, though confused they simply turned around and followed me I had to lose them by running back into the city. I am able to lose them by running around from what seems like several hours before finally lossing them and quick exit the city hoping to aviod all of this until it passes. 3. He calls you over, offering you to join in with his meal. What does your character do? Answer: I agree to join him and as we feast we share tales of adventure and war though I am a goblin so my tales arnt filled with the same violence and war his are. However, I hear him out and ask "Young warrior why are you out hear all alone? Where are you from?" The Orc is hesitant to reply as if he doesn't quite know himself and quickly changes the subject by saying "They are not very far but as for your self why are you traveling alone?" I reply "I lusted for adventure and to learn, but my fellow kins men were not acceptive of my choice so I decided to travel alone." However, before he can respond I become very sleepy falling asleep I try to asked for his name but I am asleep before I can ask. When I awaken I find that the camp has disappeared and that there was no trace of it ever being there. However, I notice something in my hand a scribled in crude letters "I should never had gone out alone its so cold when your alone. . ." I begin to wonder who that orc was and if he had ever actually been here in the first place. . .

Answer: I think for a moment wondering who this other orc may be and how he came to be where he is now. 2. The young goblin was alone at night in the dessert with no clear way to survive however, his goblin mind was able to see his situation and he begain to think of things he would need and how he might find his way home. It was brutal for Orkkrin for nearly a year he had to survive on his own until he found his clan again but his will to live and strength were easily seen by his elders and he was welcomed back with a few loving fists to the face. Orkkrin later in his life found that he was becoming restless he had traveled with his clan all over the dessert and raids but something with in him urged for something but he couldn't think of what it might be. He finally found his answer in a raid when breaking into a random hut he found a book instead of destroying it he begain to try to read it. He kept it a secret because he did not want his clan to think he was weak and he felt like the book and others he began to collect may hold some key to this uneasy feeling he couldn't seem to shake. However, he couldn't make sense of it finally he began to wonder if he even could understand it so he decided he needed to find some one who could show him, teach him to understand the strange symbols and letters and left his clan in the dead of night. Orkkrin had only ever been truely alone for that year as a child and felt slightly nervous knowing he might never see his kinsmen again, but he was determined to understand why he felt so uneasy around them to learn why he felt restless! So he set out to find the only people who could possibly teach him he left to see the lands of men, dwarf and elf to try to find some one who could teach him. Orkkrin found it harder then he at first thought knowing little to nothing about them he didn't know how to really communicate at first he would come to a town to be simply chased away by the villagers. He did find a teacher though not quite the way he expected, while resting under a tree unknowingly near a human town he was awakened by a small human child. At first he wasn't sure how to react so he sat up both of them just stareing at each other until it spoke something he couldn't understand he simply grunted a responce and the child simply nodded. Orkkrin wasn't sure of it's intent but this was the first human to actually speak to him so he tried to talk back while not seemingly scared he did see a bit of uneasy in the way the human child watched him so he relaxed as much as possible. Though they couldn't communicate very much and the child started to walk away before turning around and waving Orkkrin didn't know what this ment but waved back as the child left. With this Orkkrin felt like he may have found the person to teach him so he simply waited there to see if the human would come back, the next day he saw that she had indeed returned though they just sort of grunt that served as "hello" he decided to show the child what few books he had. He showed the human child the books and pointed to words and tried to show that he wanted to know what they ment the child seemed a little confused with some words but seemed to understand the most of it. Thus begain their strange friendship as the child begain to try and teach him and him trying to learn what the child tried to teach. Early on his tusks made actually saying anything difficult so he tried to shorten them to try and speak the human's language and after a while was capable of some speech. This would not last however, because the human village found it's self under attack by orcs though not clan Lur they were still orcs. The child however, had grown sence it begain teaching Orkkrin to read, write, and speak as humans do came armed with a sword and shield. The human asked Orkkrin to come and help maybe convince the other orcs to leave but he wasn't sure he could do anything but hesitantly agreed to come and see if he could help his human friend's village. The out come was inevitable the orcs considered him an outcast and the other humans thought his friend was crazy however, the other orcs didn't give them much of a choice and so Orkkrin actually help humans defend aganist his own people a people he had once been like. Racked by guilt of betrying his people he left near the end of the battle returning to the roads and wondering the world leaveing the books behind he would not however, forget what he had learned and hoped to never be put in that position ever again. Ambitions for the Future: Repentance for past sins, escape the stereotype of being a member of the orc race, find a place he may call "home". Personality: More thought full do to past actions Orkkrin tries to see ahead of him and tries not to get "caught up in the heat of it". He has a decent understanding of blacksmithing and can repair tools, weapons, and armor with relative competence. From his time watching humans for a while he's learned a small bit about farming and social behavior of humans. However, he is still blunt and still shows his orc side in his manners and generally aggresive behavior common among orcs. However, Orkkrin will still seem uneasy around orc due to his guilt regardless of the fact that there would be only a few orcs that could have possibly survived that battle to tell the tale. Skills: Basic orc skills, basic blacksmithing, and basic farming. Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): http://imgur.com/vWPk0ce&slc9ta3#1 Any other details you wish to share about your character: He was born with red eyes, an uncommen trait, and seeks to be accepted by the other races not just the orcs.
