I'm not sure it woke like that because if so, wouldn't all the Aenguls including those two gang up on Iblees?
Also, the magics covered such as multiplying food and exorcisms are not Druidic or Cleric. I'm currently fleshing it out with some people to make it more diverse as well.
Clerical magic gets used to fight the taint of dark magic a lot. Which just leaves the only unique thing as making a lot of food.

So the creation lore of the server, which mentions A CREATOR..CREATING...AENGUADAEMONS...is noncanon..
Okay!

So by cleric/drood logic, their gods exist but the human god doesnt. Seems legit. Elven Supremecy ftw
There are Aenguls and Daemons that canonically exist and give power to their followers. But there is no canon for the creation of the world. We could believe there was a creator or that the Aenguls and Daemons worked together to create the world or whatever and it would all be equally valid. Point is that the creator is not any more valid than the dwarven Brathmordikin, for instance.
EDIT: I doubt the staff will allow a source of magic from any being(s) that claims to be responsible for creation in order to keep that area open and not railroad religions.

Well, sure. That's how creator cleric magic was allowed to exist.
The fact that this does overlap with both clerical and druid magic is an issue, though. I don't see anything in this that doesn't exist in Clerical or Druid magic.0 -
Not necessarily, just as the orcs have spirits who attest to Krug's existence, this would be similar.
People could choose whether or not they actually believe the Creator does the magic, and that could make some interesting RP alone.
As for the Wandering Wizard, the founder of the server made that lore. In my opinion, if the staff wants to change it then a replacement should be made. I'm going off what it was before there was any official replacement.
Krug isn't the creator of the universe. He was one of the four brothers.
The staff didn't allow creator clerics to get their power from the creator, so I don't see why they would allow a different magic to come from the creator.
Here is the mention. Lago was LM for a long time, and was LM at the time he posted this.

It says in the history of Lotc that a deity referred to the Creator exists.
Actually, I recall an LM saying that the accounts of the wandering wizard aren't cannon. They are about as true as any other possible religions IG.
Obviously those writings are the most commonly accepted, but without those writings as cannon, the Creator's existence is an open question.
And that has no bearing on whether or not the staff would allow a magic from the Creator. (They likely wouldn't because that would railroad religions IG )

There used to be Creator Holy Magic. It was a few months ago -- maybe longer --removed as one does not simply connect to the Creator, who's never been verified to exist to begin with, and was rectified as Tahariae lying to the users to allow them his magic under a falsehood. I do not see the magic returning without some really good explanations.
When it existed, it even admitted OOC that it didn't come from the creator. It came from an unknown Aengul. I'm pretty sure the staff does not want the creator handing out magic of any kind. Additionally, any magic that claims to infringe on other magics even a little makes me not too happy about it.

I'd like to note a couple things for the guide:
First of all, wood eleven eyes tend to come in the blue/green/brown. Other colors would come from interbreeding with the other subraces. They're also the only subrace that dryads come from.
Additionally for Dark Elves, Velulaei isn't viewed as an ascended. She is viewed as the aengul of the moon by believers.EDIT: And just because, a note on the words that denote familial relationship: https://www.lordofthecraft.net/topic/19254-recovering-the-ancient-tongue-of-the-elves/page-33#entry770861

Leyun gets a hold of a copy of the map and looks at it in confusion. "Why is Alras labeled 'Elven Lands' when Haelun'or occupies the area between Alras and the Dwarves?" Finding the map to be inaccurate, she shreds her copy and throws the paper in a compost bin.

Think of it this way; a lot of humans walk around claiming to be nearly seven feet tall and at the top of their heights and beyond. Along with many other races.
Human should never be as tall as an Uruk, not counting goblins.
So the height inflation is happening on multiple races. Still should be put a stop to, just on all races instead of just orcs.

On that note, that also means you can't tell if you're hurt which means you could let some potentially fatal injuries go without realizing it until you're literally dropping dead. RPed right, that would be interesting!

So in all of this fighting, I've been thinking. When joined a year and a half ago, in Anthos, orcs capped out at about 7-8 feet tall. Now they're reaching 10 feet? What's changed? Why are they growing taller than they used to? I know that people like to push to make their character as tall as they can get away with, but this is excessive.

The Dummies Guide of how to get accepted by Haelun'or;
- Be a Wood Elf, Dark Elf, or High Elf
- If High Elf, don't be half-breed.
- Be a sane, morally upstanding person (in public at least).
- Don't let Tundrak in the gates.
5. If you are a druid, pray to the Aspects every day that Milo doesn't do something stupid.
But on a serious note, the racial nations should be the most open, and the more restrictive should be independent off to the side. Haelun'or was fine doing it's thing when it wasn't the hub of elven roleplay. It has made moves in the right direction, of course, and they should be applauded for that, but we still need to contend with the fact that new RPers are going to go to the racial capitals first, and if they're not accepting, it's not good for the server as a whole.
P.S. Milo, you know we <3 you.

The short way to put it is that nations are the first thing new players see, and we should agree that we want to make a good impression.

Sometimes I wonder if the dialect for orcs and kha is their biggest drawback. The RP for both is deep and riveting yet their playerbase have both been consistently smaller.
I've always been of the opinion that language/dialects hinder bringing people to RP. They add something to RP, but at the cost of numbers. If there was a way to ease that hurdle as much as possible, you might see a bump in activity. An idea is that you could make a plugin that ties in with personas and automatically translates your spoken words into the dialect of the race on your persona. It would take some work, but it could be done.
EDIT: And on the topic of people preferring independent groups to nations, yes, I think current nations are too restrictive, and what's worse is they got that way through RP. Nations are the first place new RPers go, if they're turned away, then that is bad for the server's retention rate, which is bad in general. Kicking out criminals is fine, but booting a new player because they didn't make their character quite right is simply not. This is not saying that nations should be a free for all. No. Laws need to be enforced and followed, but they shouldn't be so tight that anything even slightly outside the narrow definition of what is acceptable is immediately turned away.
There is a balance between keeping things fun and friendly and enforcing the laws, and sometimes keeping it at a good balance requires more work on the part of the nation.

Link the five voting sites maybe?
They're linked in the opening post. Just click the images for them.

I don't mind the loss of reputation. I think status updates should have been more strictly policed rather than take them away entirely.

I like it. It doesn't just reward voting, it rewards voting regularly.

At this point anyone can play a dryad. They are an optional life state for wood elven women, after all.
EDIT: Added a section of brief guidelines.

Soul Puppetry is meant to be voodoo curses. Healing is certainly not along those lines. I'm pretty sure Monkey would be opposed to this lore addition.

I poked Bird for that last night. I'll bother her again if she missed it.

Bumping this back up so that it gets moved to the lore forum, which was locked at the time I wrote this, but now seems the place for this stuff to be considered. This is pretty much the way dryads are RPed nowadays anyway. I could perhaps add a list of things to do and not to do as dryads at the bottom for a quick summary.

To emphasize this, Druids teach that the first druid ever was a human woman, and the myth this teaching is based off of has been around since Aegis. We just tend to align with elven ideals more closely than the other races, but all races are allowed to join.
Aengudaemons are confirmed to exist and interact with the world and give out powers. A being above Aengudaemons is not confirmed to have ever existed and if it does it clearly doesn't interact with the world.
If you're asking if you could create a new aengudaemon for a distinct form of magic to come from, you could try to get that passed. trying to get a second form of magic out of an existing aegnudaemon that already gives magic to it's followers, though, is not going to happen.
