Full Name: Faedir Lirrame

Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Born on a warm and sunny, but windy, morning on outskirts of Malinor in family’s tree house, his first sight was sun rising above trees, which has shaped his personality quite a bit (love for nature).
He was first and last child of his parents, so they took great care for him and loved him greatly. His mother was a hunter(also monster slayer when it was needed due to living on outskirts) and wanted to
pass her skills to him, so he started training archery and hunting quite early, while father was a locksmith and passionate about water, thus he was great swimmer and diver. His father has similarly to mother taught him his skills, but not all, Faedir only got mysterious book, locked with some rare lock, from his father which contained all wisdom of being a locksmith, as father has told him. However, he did practice swimming and diving in a nearby river and father helped him with advices and demonstrations.
All went well until one day, when strange, armed and angry half a dozen people rode on horses to their home. Faedir was luckily hiding in the bushes nearby when it happened, so they have not seen him. He saw them going inside and throwing his parents out and under watch of two guards, while others went inside and made a lot of noise for some time. When they returned outside, he noticed full bags they had been carrying. They left right away, however, later he along with parents noticed a lot of stuff missing inside the home. But not everything was lost. Due to his father’s locksmith skills, they have not managed to break into chest where they kept most valuable items. This event put a dark attitude toward humans in him and he has not changed it ever since.
Soon after, he decided that he needs to go travel around Malinor, find and learn from master archers, which he did. He has learnt few tricks and increased accuracy during these years of harsh trainings, where he had not just practiced archery, but also had to run, swim, climb daily and got high endurance from it.
After this part of his life was done, he went back to parents house for a few week visit, then he wandered away to find his own tree house to live on, which after a decade or so, he did. During his wandering, he met a lot of people, mainly elves, some dwarves and few halflings. They all turned out to be nice people and he has positive opinion of them since then.
He lived a happy life there while doing things parents taught him and learning about nature, mainly trees, on his own. He gained a lot of knowledge about it and aimed for even more, as you cannot learn everything about it, when recently a lightning struck his tree and home. Sadly it burned down completely. All his items and property were lost, the only thing he was left with, was his bare skin and one set of clothes. Consequently, his only option is to go wandering around once again now.
Ambitions for the Future: He wishes to learn new skills and improve his current skills, while exploring the land. He is enthusiastic about learning and as he likes exploring and hunting (also monster slaying), he wishes to study Geography and Elven cultures, when it will be possible.
Personality: Kind, intelligent, hardworking, but he can hardly go somewhere without nature around him and sun above his head, so he never goes underground and mining.
Another trait he has is his distrust toward other people that he does not know well, it takes him a while to become open to people. This applies especially to humans and a lot less to elves and others, besides orcs obviously, because he tends to avoid conversations with humans and their land overall due to his past. Fighting against other persons is something he prefers to avoid because he does not enjoy it and knows words are more efficient in solving disputes than fights, but if there is no other way, he will not simply surrender and rather fight(with his bow, if possible).
He believes that trees are just as much a being as he and others are and thus, he respects trees. Due to this, he only cuts down old, dying trees. Additionally, he has a rule of planting back at least two, if not three, saplings too.
Skills: He is a decent, agile hunter and monster slayer, but still learning and improving.
He has good archery skills as bow is his favourite weapon and has been regularly training with a composite one for decades (since he was little, basically). However, he lacks skills in melee fighting (only has the very basic skills with it), so he only fights from a distance, if fighting is really needed in first place. Additionally, he barely has any experience in fighting against people (To note here, due to his skills, his most hated and feared enemy are endermen because they are somehow immune to his arrows. He has found out only that they somehow suddenly disappear before arrows reach them.
Due to that, he avoids them whenever possible as sword fighting is something he usually avoids too.)
He enjoys swimming and diving, as he's a decent at both, although he is interested in climbing too. All these three made him have quite high endurance.

Any other details you wish to share about your character: He does not like eating chicken so he avoids it whenever possible, however, his favorite dish is baked potatoes with some carrots along it. His favorite color is green, because it's a color of the nature and that’s why his clothes are mainly green too.
For a hobby, he wishes to cultivate and care for bonsai trees, which can be gathered from various places around the world. He is slightly interested in art, but is a terrible singer and artist himself overall.

1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of older elves are mocking a small elven child. How do you react?
Answer: When I realize what is happening a bit further along the path, I stop and hide so I can quickly think of what to do. Soon, I decide to approach them with kind words and try to convince them to leave child alone, explaining them that what they're doing is wrong. And that is what I do, but they start laughing at me, although decide to leave nonetheless, because they realized it's better for them to leave as they do not want to attract a lot of attention.
After their departure, I approach the child in a kind manner and nicely ask him if he's alright and where does he live. The child tells me that his home is right on the edge of the forest on eastern side. I
realize that it is the same direction he is headed too, so I tell the child that I will go with him. Child is happy to hear that and thanks me for what I did. Then we walk to his home where child goes inside and says goodbye, while I go on along the way, knowing I did something good today.
2. Whilst wandering through the Elven forests you come across a frail old man with a walking stick. He collapses in front of you, falling to the ground with a sharp thud.
Out of his pocket falls a small pouch of gold coins, which hits the ground and splits open spreading coins across the pathway. The man lies there, defenseless - what do you do?
Answer: While wandering the forests, I come across an old man, who suddenly collapses in front of me. I approach the man carefully. After that I decide to help him and go quickly gathering all gold coins back into a pouch, sealing it and, along with a walking stick, returning it to the man, who just woke up. I ask the man, if he is okay and able to go on. I get a positive reply from him, so I only give him an advice of being more careful next time and having somebody to go with him, in case it happens again, because next time there might not be someone with good intentions finding him first. At the end we say farewell to each other and go our separate ways.
3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of his wares.
He points out that his carriage sells just about everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price. What does your character do? (Please include:- item, haggling for prices and the discussion involved).
Answer: I approach the carriage slowly, when I notice the wind breeze moving the leaves on trees gently. I stop walking and just observe the beautiful nature around me. However, the trader wakes me from this trance when he yells if I'm coming or not. I proceed going closer to the carriage and notice a small brown dog below the carriage. Then, I start the conversation.
I: Hello there! I'm Faedir, a wood elf.
Trader Joe: Heya mate. Want to buy some nice, cheap things here? I've got plenty of those. What
will you pick?
I (scratch my nose and try to remember what I realized I need before already.): I'm actually looking
for a new, sharp axe made out of stone. Do you happen to have any such?
Joe: Of course! I've got one that will fit you perfectly. Follow me.
(I follow Joe to the back of his carriage.)
Joe: Here it is, what do you think of it?
I (examine the axe and think): It is quite good, however it is not exactly as good as I hoped it would be. How much do you want for it?
Joe: Just for you, it's 20 Minas.
I (a bit in a shock due to such price): That's quite a lot for such axe. What do you think of 10 Minas?
Joe (shakes his head a bit): Hmm, 13. That's the lowest I can go and is my final offer.
I: Okay, I will buy it. Here's the money.
Joe (gives me the axe and takes money at same time): It's been a pleasure doing business with you!
I: Agreed, but now, I have to go on. Goodbye and live well!
Joe: Goodbye, Faedir! (Waves me in goodbye)
(I walk away, back onto the path and proceed my way again.)
