    Race: Human

    Main weapon of choice: Sword

Secondary weapon(s) of choice: Throwing knives/bow

What role do you wish to have in the guard? Recruit

Why do you want to be part of the Fos Aspida?: As I now have some land here I might as well join

Do you currently have a home in Aethermoor? I have some land

Do you swear loyalty to Aethermoor and that you will abide all of the rules? Yup

Lastly. Answer these questions truthfully (be true to how your character will react to these situations and try and be as detailed as you can, this helps us to check on your RP as well as see what your character is like):

You see a woman walking down a street. The woman is old and runs a nearby bakery shop in the town, carrying a few bread packages to her shop. Suddenly, a thief darts out from a nearby alleyway and manages to take the goods. The thief speeds away with the stolen items. What will you do?

John shouts “Stop thief!” trying to get some attention to the scene and attempting to stop the Thief. It fails to stop the thief but alerts a few guards near by. He tells them to look after the old woman and runs off after the thief. As John gets closer he shouts one last time but failed to stop him. As John knows the city like the back of his hand he knows the shortcuts dives down one of them it got him a lot closer to the thief he shouts one last time and scares the thief. The Thief slows down and give the chance for John to tackle him. He successfully tackles him and uses his strength to keep the thief down, John then gives the thief a swift punch on the back of the head to stop him from trying to escape he then has the other guards come over and help him take the thief to the cells. He’d go back and see if the old woman was ok and hands some of the bread back which wasn’t damaged.

You are on duty at the gate. Everything is relatively peaceful until a man comes up to your post. You recognize the man as someone who is banished from the town due to his drunken and violent behavior.  He is demanding access into the town. In an attempt to persuade you, he attempts to bribe you with two hundred minas. If you refuse his offer, he will then offer you two thousand minas. What do you do?

John would shake his head telling the man to leave as he is banished and tell him why he is banished. When the man offers John money the first time he’d decline it. Then on the second offer he’d decline it. He’d tell the man to leave once more, if the man doesn't leave he’d use a little aggressive action upon the man to finally make him leave.

Chase after the thief and disable him. The loaves are to be returned to the woman and the man detained for sentencing.

Deny him entry, I don't use minas anyway.

What role do you wish to have in the guard? For the while, probably recruit. Later on, maybe either officer or scribe. Or perhaps a sword of Aethermoor, who knows ... perhaps there'll be more rescue missions :D

Why do you want to be part of the Fos Aspida?: Have been semi-part of the force-war-group-army thing anyways. Just decided to make it official for Karina.

Do you currently have a home in Aethermoor? Yes.

Do you swear loyalty to Aethermoor and that you will abide all of the rules? Yes.

Karina would probably dart after the thief in an attempt to tackle them. Especially since the latest battles and fights, she's rather cocky. Although, she would probably care little about the bread and would just take the fellow in for questioning and perhaps a beating or two, not helping the old woman in any way.

She's probably accept the bribe straight away, let the man walk in then tell another guard she thought she saw the man sneaking in and have them capture the man. If questioned about the bribe, she'd probably say she planned it all out to bust the man and she'd probably lie, saying it was twenty minas or something. Karina's a miner, nothing more right now. Two hundred minas make a change in her life.

ACCEPTED! Welcome to the Fos Aspida!

    Legit question;

can the group of Tribals that have in role-play been camped outside of Aethermoore and harassing them (Ask Zero) get involved as a third party or something? As in, they'd attack both sides? That'd be nice.

As the twist sounds cool. I would like to get some things fixed before adding other stuff.

  3. As the owner of Aethermoor, I will disagree with the no allies heavily. I also have a few points to say as well.

Now let me begin with the obvious disagreement.

    No Allies

Okay, so a huge race of savage Orcs are going to not raid but WAR CLAIM a settlement/town. Picture that right? A mass race known for its numbers attacking an settlement  under a nation? oh capital even. Would the nation leader just sit there and allow it ? a full nation to attack their settlement with no defense or helping them? No. Its obviously pretty one sided. Even a blind squirrel can see that. Think if an nation went to one of your camps and were wanting to claim it? Doesn't make sense if the Rex/leader of the race was to tell that camp to fend for himself hm?

Everyone knows that Orcs are known for having alts, so please do not try to bs the "no alts" we ALL know it will happen. There has been no WC that I've seen where it's like "No allies" If they don't have allies than it sucks for them. But logically, if you are going to attack a nation that has one, the allies are not just going to sit and watch from the sides, especially if the attackers have been causing trouble for them as well. They will want some revenge of their own.

NOW for the part that has been itching ALOT more than just few.

This event push on the orc plague, how long has this plague been spreading? the event time one could say. It's been at a halt for some time as the big answer when someone is trying to interact with it. "Need to wait for the ET to finish building." Okay yes that's alright but the ET just got a mass bunch of ET people join them, that's not a huge excuse for such delay of the plague builds. I was for it but the time has passed too long.

Again, I shall stay to this point of the issue, after a month or so of having us wait. The druids and other groups that could get rid of the plague we're fully ready to cleanse it, the moment it came to spreading so much. But were told "Wait on the ETs to finish." Again, waiting is fine but its taken too long for waiting which is just not cool.

Then out of no where the plague wants to spread more? Was the event continued and we that were wanting to cleanse or get rid of the plague taint were merely pushed away so it can continue to spread?

We can't do anything to defend or make the plague taint within an area to stop because we have to wait for ET?

Big thing i was told if we tried, we'd be warclaimed for interfering with their Spirit work and MANY orcs would be at the borders protecting and making sure no one would touch the plague lands and will know if its being touched. Also seeming one-sided. I highly doubt Orcs will be there in a line watching for EVERY movement that comes to the plagueland borders.

The eventline has been on for too long and only seems to just benefit the orcs and allow them to do whatever they want because "The Spirits told us to do it." with no way of defending, even though there is a full way to do so, but "Wait on the GMS and ET."

I don't see any progress with this war claim if its just to make more land barren and wasted like the the unfinished land that's there. That's a poor job in my eyes, finish something before trying to get more. Do not eat more than you can swallow.

That's all my say on this

    Festival of the Summer

This festival would encapture the fun and restlessness of the summer heat, it bursting at the seams with games. Ice would be packed away in basements in advance of this event, to offer the attendees some sort of reprieve from the heat brought on by the summer months that bring this festival to relevance. The goofy appeal of its games would hopefully bring people from their homes. It is to be held within an Elven Day on the seventh Elven hour! Anyone is welcome, and fun is encouraged.

Also, it is to be noted this festival is being held entirely on our docks! We have new games available and would love for you to give them a try.

((7 PM EST, SATURDAY. Be there!))

**Aethermoore can be found by hopping on the orange cart at CT and then finding the cart labeled Aethermoore. Our gates should be open.*

Within the town of Aethermoor, the thick smell of smoke and ashes linger the air after some of the crop fields were set alight. The fields themselves are raw black and dead, faint trails of smoke coming from them. Around you, the locals murmur about what had happened.

    borderlands-2-bandit.jpg

A lone tribal had set the fields aflame, for some unknown purposes. Perhaps to sabotage? Spread a message? Or for utter trouble alone?

"Yes ! Yes Let it burn! " The tribal chants to the fire he set on the farms, seeming excited with glee to his art. The tribal danced about merrily, pleased with his work.

    sir_billy_the_cockatrice_by_arvalis-d89h

However, out of nowhere, the loud screech traveled through the burning farmlands. One that would make many freeze in fear and goosebumps to form over their skin

The gathered group looks up to ear drilling screech, the crashing Cockatrice crashed through the forest and charged right towards the tribal man, interrupting further damage to the farmlands.

Was it defending the farm lands? was it friend or foe?

Standing at 15 ft, the Cockatrice lets out another loud screech to the groups and reared up, its burning amber eyes focused on the gathering folks. It claws at the dirt, as it prepares to charge to the first crowd of high elves.

Ready to defend their grounds and attack the creature, the tribal man joins with the creature on the assault on the ground of elves.

While distract, a tall, elven armored clerics just a few feet away, taking out his claymore, with a tired expression on his face preparing to help the other ground. The cleric mutters a swift and clear prayer and prepares his clerical magic within only minutes, creating a orb of silver.

The group on the hill continued to fend off the large creature, the creature staggered back as it lifts its head up preparing to screech, but with surprise it would lock its head to the grou. Before they all knew it, the creature lurched its head forward, letting out a large jet of crimson tinted soot from its mouth.

Surprised, some of the group were caught burned. Some tried their best to flee. Luckily they fled but one stayed behind with the tribal. Caught in the way,  the tribal man pleaded the woman to spare him, as the creature charges to the lone elven woman.

As the creature remains distracted, the armored cleric is joined by another armed elf.

"What a miss Ramza?" The elf ask.

"Sadly..this.. teamwork?" he ask with a smirk, to his friend, looking to the creature as his eyes flare silver.

Tossing the light orb, to the turned creature, knocking it over to its side with a pained screech. The impact caused the creature to stumble back, tossing its head around madly in rage. The weak spot was noticeable.

"And now we know.. its tender spot.." he says, repositioning himself as he holds his sword into his hand.

"So.. we aim for its body if we can get it..Mark" he says to Mark.

    "Right.." he replies.

The creature looking to the duo, in an enraged state on who hit it from behind.

"So the best bit is to split up.." he sighs to Mark, before sprinting to the side of the creature, but as its gaze followed.

The cleric stood his ground, opening his hand preparing another magic spell to blind the creature. In a few quick moments, the cleric raised his hand.

"Cover your eyes!" he shouts to his comrade.

    big-bright-light-psd38714.png

The creature lets out a screech as Ramza releases the blinding light. Madly, the creature charges to Ramza ready to use its beak attack. Yet with an instant of reaction, Ramza evades the creature barely.

As the creature continue its charge, Ramza glanced towards it. One of the elves from the group was by the rive, laid in the way of the creature, within a defensive stance, and caught off guard.

Moments later as the creature keeps it’s back back turned from the others. Suddenly, a giant beam of arcane energy comes from the forest, striking the creature down to the ground, surprising the creature.  As the creatures tries to maintain its balance, Mark charges towards the creature and impaled its thigh in order to immobilized it, keeping the blade inside before backing away.

“This might be crazy! But gotta do it!” The cleric shouts to the others as he charges.

With a cry, the cleric rushes and leaps on the downed creatures back, planting the claymore within, keeping him on the creature as he holds the handle tightly.  As he keeps his balance and combined weight on the creature, he start dragging the claymore inside the creature's back up to its upper back, cutting open the creature as his blood gushes from the gash. It screeches in pain before stumbling about… then collapsed to the ground dead.

As the group pants and takes a breather from their battle with the creature, they are victorious. Looking at the creature in interest, they all nod to each other. Out of nowhere looking to the flames, an approaching Druid came to the area.

“These crops are in pain.” The female Druid stated to the group.

“You know.. Fire creature..Renn..mind giving us a hand..?” Ramza ask.

The Druid shakes her head with a giggle before calming herself as she would perform her Druidism, clearing all the fire from the crops to prevent further damage.

As they watch the fire going out in the farms, they sigh in relief as none was lost.

Who started the fire? Why was the creature here? Who was really on the good side?

A few hours later as the incident ended, a few workers and citizens mount the creature in front of the city as a sign of their victory.

(Thanks Taylor and Final for doing the event at Aethermoor! IT WAS AMAZINGLY FUN! )

  6. A tall blonde elf in armor looks to the notice and shrugs. "I've heard their names too many times. Knowing this place I am not suprised they allow such things.. " he shuffles the scarf around his neck. "Seems half my kin never learn from their lessons. Maybe more dark art users will hide in this corrupted city.." He shakes his head before going to stalk the Oasis grove.
