On the 14th, The First Seed in 1557, many saw a beam of light breaking the skies, and followed it leading to Aethermoor, a settlement south of Vandoria. As people came to inspect, many were surprised to see a festival going on, and soon took part.

The beacon of light continued to shine through the festival, as the people attending could be heard cheering, laughing, and enjoying the festivities around. Games, food, and merriment continued into the night, as the festivities drew to a close, many held a candle, which was alight at the end. Soon, A sea of an orange glow could be seen, emanating from the settlement of Aethermoor. At that moment, the sounds died down to a time of peace and joy, as the beacon still beamed throughout the night.

As the people leave after the festival ends, many of the stall owners pack their things for another time to reopen. 

A man looking above from the clocktower in the center of town, watching them as they pack and return to their homes. 

"I would say.. this turned out very well. No fight or death in sight. Maybe in time.. We can have these festivals continue." says the man as his gaze turns to the seas. 

"With time we have, we can change the future to make it better.. maybe with peace and happiness.." 

"With many smiling faces brought upon from the light of Aethermoor, can it give hope to some?" he ask himself. 

"Maybe with this light shall guide many to the bright future ahead of them. " 

"With time and a brighten future.. many can change the world into something better.." 

(Thanks JakeSTF and Stormclank for helping us out with this huge festival, I didn't expect about +40 to come here. No pvp, no trolling it went very well and handled. And thank everyone who showed up with great enjoyable RP. It was done with only a few days of planning and work. Hope everyone who came to the festival enjoyed it. We have some already scheduled plans ahead.

Aethermoor Opening Festival

This festival is the first to be brought to our young city, the first of many to come. It is a celebration of the completion of our construction. While additions may be made, and we will be ever-changing, but this day of fun will be in honor of those who have worked their rumps off in anticipation of Aethermoor’s completion! A dunk tank will be available, wolf pups will be for sale, and other festivities will occur. Prizes may be won at our prize booth. Though this festival is to give the chance to workers to celebrate their hard work, it is open to all! We welcome you with a warm embrace, and hope you enjoy your stay at the city of lights.

    In addition, if you would like to run a stall or to be given one, do contact either Nero Sarr or Audrey Caillot. ((Rabidanimalz on Skype)) We have existing stalls in need of owners, as well as would welcome additions, if your idea is bright enough!

The festival is to be held April 29th, at 7 PM EST. Our message to you overall, is that you are welcome. And to those who intend on coming, see you there!

    To those new to the city who do not know its location, it can be found from the Cloud Temple and an small bit of walking. Simply hop onto the orange wagon at spawn, which will bring you to a gathering of other carts. Ours is clearly labeled as Aethermoor. Well I'll make this short and sweet. I'll be paying for 2 skins.

Blood magic can use your own blood, @Zero. You don't have to sap it from another being, at all. In fact, holy mages who may heal themselves are even likelier to do this, as necromancers, blood mages, shades, etc. all have downsides with weakness and corruption, making self-draining a harmful thing.

Alright I see what you mean now. But I still don't think, an holy deity would allow for their users to hold that ability. As Pd said in a way, it can lead a door way to anti-hero path. Yes that can be an cool twist to add in rp, but primary they would have would stop working once they did wrong. Then tracked down and disconnected (aka your holy magic is removed, no if ands or buts.) So I am on the fence with blood magic being for clerics as one myself. Yes cool idea, but can open a path to rogues which is something to think on.

As a cleric, ^ pretty much.

I don't even think that Tahariae would even allow a cleric to suck the blood from the enemy and buff themselves for their spell. That still seems pretty dark to me..

As he explains the looks and history of the artifacts he starts giving the starting bid prices.
