What’s your character called?: - Lotherein Elendan, or Loth for short What race are they (and sub-race)?: - Elf, High Elf What sex are they?: - Male How old are they?: - 456 Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): - Born into the Elandan family, Loth had an brother, Elenesh seventeen years his elder. The Elandan’s however treated the birth almost as a curse, for among the Elandans during history there have been one of the largest noble family. They were however cursed by a man long forgotten to forever be only sons and daughters for crimes long forgotten. Whether this curse is real or not is not clear to the Elandan’s, only that any time an Elandan had a Brotheror Sister, they had died, leaving the younger sibling less. This had shrunk the family considerably. The two brothers were somewhat polar opposites, while Loth was rash and emotional, Elenesh was calm and thoughtful. While Loth was quick to anger and often antisocial, Elenesh was patient and very friendly and easy to approach. Both brothers grew close despite this, never told of the curse by any of the Elandans. Both of them followed family tradition and joined the Malinor Sentinels. Their family had tried to stop them, fearing the curse would kill one of them. However his family were forced to relent, seeing they could not stop the two determined brothers without telling them of the curse. Elenesh rose through the ranks, quickly reaching the rank of Scout. Loth was somewhat less driven, happy to follow his brother as an initiate. Both became excellent fighters, being trained by their family (to increase their chances of survival). This further showed their differences, where Elenesh was defensive and slow in his combat, no matter what he was taught, Loth was aggressive and fast. One day Loth was nearly killed, a group of human bandits managing to wound him. When he recovered he found Elenesh was avoiding him, trying to get him transferred to a safer patrol. When Loth inquired about it Elenesh shook his head and told him about the curse, saying he had found out about it while Loth was recovering. Loth was shocked that his family had kept such a secret, he felt betrayed by his brother and shouted at him. His brother shook his head and walked off, being the calmer of the two. Loth fumed, then realized his brother was trying to protect him, he cursed himself for his stupidity. Next patrol they were attacked by another bandit group, this time elven in race. Most of the squad was killed, as were the Bandits, leaving Elenesh and Loth fighting a single female bandit. The bandit was skilled, fighting off both of them. She managed to separate the two, then she threw sand into Loth’s eyes, blinding him temporarily. As he tried to rub the sand from his eyes she struck. He heard her coming and moved his sword to block, but Elenesh blocked her instead. Sand rubbed out of his eyes, Loth was able to see his brother die in front of his eyes. He screamed in rage, and grabbed his brother. Luckily a second patrol happened to come across them, forcing the bandit to retreat. Loth looked in horror at his brothers blood on his hands, he gritted his teeth. He knew it was all his fault, had he not been able to block the blow his brother wouldn’t have tried to save him. He was also considering his last anger fueled words to him. He picked up his blade…it would need to be returned to his family. When he came back home his parents cast him out, believing that his brothers death was his fault. He was, for once, without his brother and friend. He took out his sword and planted in the ground, swearing by the blade that he would find the killer of his brother and avenge his death. What are they like (personality)?: - When his brother died the fires of his anger became a cold flame of determination, he’s driven to find his brothers killer, his only purpose now. He’s less emotional and angry as his past, and is now more cold and bitter, years of trying to find his brothers killer weighing on him. What are their ambitions?: - He wants to find and kill the elf that killed Elenesh, being his only purpose. He would like to be able to come back to his family, though he doubts he will ever be able to go back. Do they have any special skills?: - Loth is skilled with most blade weapons. He has limited skill with the bow. He practices a fighting style that puts offense over defense, however over the years he has developed more balance. Now though offense is his specialty, he’s able to block and dodge rather competently. He specializes even further into fast, crippling attacks. What are their weaknesses?: - Even though he’s improved his defense, he still has problems when forced on the defensive. Though he’s competent with bows Loth’s not amazing with them and prefers close combat anyway. Though he’s fast, he’s not strong or tough. He’s not especially good with people and is rather touchy on the subject of family. He’s also very stubborn, a trait common to both brothers. Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - He has black hair, blue eyes and gaunt features. He’s about as tall as most elves, with a thin wirery build. He’s usually dress in the white and blue colours of his family. Anything else you want to say about them?: - His brothers sword is an elven longsword, passed down from generation to generation, it is named (Elandan’s Fang) however it has shown no magical abilities. What’s your character called?: - Do’Kharean What race are they (and sub-race)?: - Kharajyr, Kha’Pantera What sex are they?: - Male How old are they?: - 45 Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family: - Born to a Warrior and a Moonblade. Both wanted him to become a Warrior. However his mother, the Moonblade, died in a border skirmish with the elves before she could see him take the trials. This in some ways motivated him to do even better and become a warrior. He passed the trials with flying colours and became a warrior. He became a Do’Gurka in a unit predominantly filled with Pantera. They specialized in stealth and sniping off priority targets and became quiet well renowned. He worked with them for years, scoring many kills. One day his entire unit was caught in a Mori cavalry charge, and they were all slaughtered. However he survived barely and was about to be taken down to slavery when he escaped. He then went back however he was accused of deserting, and sentenced to death. He managed to escape the law and end up in human territory. He is a Mercenary now What are they like (personality)?: - He's very stealthy, preferring to speak only if it is required. He hates elves and Mori, blaming them for his current predicament and his mothers deaths. He has nothing against other races though, he especially likes the humans, having worked with the human army in his mercenary days. He isn’t a loner, in fact preferring to work in a team. What are their ambitions?: - He plans to one day return to his home, under a new name with a new life for himself, or if he can’t do that, then he hopes to make a new life elsewhere. Do they have any special skills?: - Is very competent at stealth. Is a great marksmen. Competent at using his short sword, but not amazing at it. Can use short sword for taking out enemies form behind very well. Very good liar and can be deceptive. What are their weaknesses?: - People tend not to trust him, he works best at ranged combat, while being not as good at close combat. He has lax morals and will fight for almost any cause. Can be quiet a perfectionist about his own skills and gets annoyed if he missed his mark by too much. Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - Pantera, Black fur, Tall, Lean, Hooded, Unlike most Kharajyr he covers himself up quite alot for two reasons; firstly because it keeps undue attention away from him, and secondly he covers up a scar he got from the trials that shames him to this day.
