  1. The slouched figure of a Dark Dwedess slowly traveled through the wilderness, blind to the true destination of her aimless wandering, the coppery tang of blood thick upon her tongue as the uneven shaft of an arrow jutted from her back. The clouded thoughts still fresh upon the surface of her mind continued to play over and over; the tightened bindings around her wrists and ankles, the shouting of threats against her life from her captors. The sudden eruptions of fire and blasts of heat as voices and shouts rang out within the encampment. The clash of metal upon metal and the quick acting Musin who invaded the grounds to pounce upon their leader and rend their throat open. Although wounded, the young Doomforged had escaped with her life barely intact as the struggle continued towards the goal in mind..

  2. A cheerful Doomforged Dwedess would be heavy into smithing up her newest idea, hearing the news she'd nod with a smirk as a cigar hung loosely between both ashen lips.

"Fehckin Greenskins never seem ta lear' tha' they be nah match agains' Urguan's fines' warriors.. Serves em rioght fer tryin tha' foolish raid agains' us in teh firs' place. Perhaps they be better off jus' figh'in each other in their own lands from now on."

She spat while bringing the hammer down to sending fresh, burning sparks around the floor of her workshop.

  3. As much as I'd like to see a return to Wraiths, it's hard to see it through with the LT these days, not to mention it'll most likely be held for certain individuals, hoarded without regards to actually being fairly handed out to people via role play and random interactions spanning out over a natural course of time. I'm speaking as a player who had actually role played with the old Wraiths of Anthos, which were the first generation, Swgrclan, Slic3, Geoboy66. When necromancy was at its full strength. Even partaking in the next generation of Wraiths when Angmarzku had been active upon the ash Wraiths. If this actually moves forward, how is it proposed as being first handled upon being accepted? (Which I highly doubt it will, sadly)

  4. The Doomforged lass finishes her daily tasks of tending to the  animals needs before returning to Urguan and waiting for potential sales to come forth.

    N' let teh fun begi'."

She'd state while taking a seat at her personal desk, kicking both feet upon its surface and lighting a fat cactus green cigar.

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

Ghosts are formed from souls who cannot find peace after death. A freshly killed person would usually find their soul led into the soul stream shortly after departing from their mortal bodies, but those who resist linger on within the material world. Their spirit no longer housed within their body, though they manifest by becoming ethereal beings made entirely of ectoplasm. This is an intangible substance which is directly linked to lifeforce, something that fuels all living beings. Revenants are the first stage of what a phantom finds themselves manifesting as after death. They are the weakest of phantoms, their mental state laced with overwhelming confusion on what had truly transpired to bring about their demise.Varying which stage a ghost finds themselves in, they all come with different abilities, Revenants being the weakest are only able to demanifest as they’re still grasping at how to manipulate their own ectoplasmic energies. As the phantom moves forward and adopts a new form of either a Spectre, Poltergeist and even Graven, they will awaken a set of abilities depending on what path they take in undeath.

All phantoms suffer from mental illnesses that vary from Revenants, Spectres, Poltergeists and Gravens. These range from Schizophrenia, OCD, PTSD and depression being the most common. Each kind of phantom would have a focal point of certain mental disorders with Poltergeists leaning more to the violent harboring aspects, Gravens and Spectres are much less affected and Revenants can fall in between the line varying on each spirit that exists within the mortal realm. In addition all spirits have weaknesses that can thwart, or even cause them to demanifest completely. Aurum is a great means to deter a phantom as weapons created out of it can cut through ghosts the same as a blade cuts a mortal man. Severing the ectoplasmic currents that keep themselves upon the mortal realm.A strike causes as much pain and threat of danger to them as it would to the living person being cut down by a ferrum blade to the neck. A solid line of aurum upon the ground also acts as an impassable barrier to all phantoms, this being a way to prevent them from entering certain areas altogether.

Aurum dust can be placed also to thwart phantoms from crossing, though a ghost could cross aurum dust it would not come without a price forcing them from their invisibility if being in such a state and also causing immense pain to their incorporeal forms. Sunlight poses a building threat to phantoms the longer they stay within the sun’s rays. Starting from a slight burning sensation, and amplifying to that of feeling like their form is engulfed in flames itself. This is why most phantoms stay concealed until the darkness of night takes to the lands, giving them freedom to travel unhindered by the sun’s burning caress. Voidal and shamanistic magic also pose as a very real outlet of danger towards phantoms if being directly targeted by spells. If a ghost is forced to demanifest too many times in a short period their spirit will need to rejuvenate within the Elysian Wastes for an extended amount of time before being able to manifest once more into the mortal realm. They can be defeated permanently by Paladins, Shamans with OOC permission by the player too.

Revenents:  Revenants are known to be the weakest of all four types of phantoms as they’re like newborns compared to the others. They are either freshly separated from their corporeal forms, or have wandered in such a state for years, decades and have known to exist in confusion for centuries. Unknowingly existing on as an undead being without realizing that they are indeed truly dead. Their voices may be extremely weak and only come through as distorted whispers to mortal ears. When appearing their form would more than likely bear some kind of signs of how they died too, whether they were beheaded, or drowned and taking on a bloated aspect to their deathly features. As with being the weakest of the four types, Revenants would have immense trouble in carrying out the simplest of tasks, this being like snuffing small candles out to pushing a door open that was not even latched shut.

Spectres: When a ghost realizes and comes to terms that they’re indeed dead, and take this with a semi-positive outlook upon such occurring they then transition into a form called a spectre. Their form shifts to a light blue, or yellow color. They still harbor depression from the loss of their life, though have learned to cope with it in a manner where they may exist without bringing hatred, anger and rage with their extended existence past death’s door. They tend to have antisocial tendencies when it comes to interacting with others in general, this could be mortals, or other phantoms.

Poltergeists: When a spirit finds out they’re no longer living and react negatively to this, a Poltergeist is formed. Harboring such an overflowing amount of anger and sorrow that they literally fall into a state of mind akin to that of an animal, being governed by nothing but their own hatred and lash out openly to any that they deem fit within their shattered psyche. They take on a blackened form riddled with darkened crimson flowing through their ectoplasmic figure. They then adopt a new showing of their outward appearance to reflect their deranged state of mind, which can be quite horrific to be seen by others, showcasing in much more details of their deaths, an example being someone who was hung might have a snapped neck that causes their head to hang at an unnatural angle, their facial features giving nothing but the suffering they had felt moments before dying. Along with anger that they outwardly show towards anyone, or anything that brings out the worst of their distorted, shattered emotions. Poltergeists can haunt an area they deem worthy for numerous reasons. This greatly increases their own abilities in using telekinesis, they can possess dead bodies, inanimate objects such as a scarecrow and even those too weak to resist their mental bombardments.

Gravens: After a Revenant comes to terms of their death though sets aside everything but a sole reason to continue on existing beyond life they find themselves transforming into that of a Graven. These semi corporeal beings can affect the world the most around them compared to all the rest of the other phantom types. They are drawn to a singular reason and obsess over this to no end. In manifesting much more than the other phantom counterparts, Gravens skin is the texture of glass itself and they respond to injuries with much more pain placed upon their frames and take longer to heal from attacks as Revenants, Spectres or Poltergeists would.

If this construct or creature has some form of aesthetic choice, can you describe how they look?

Varlan would look as he did in life, albeit being shrouded in the light grey appearance that Revenants are famous for, a hooded human figure with pure white eyes. Ethereal armor is worn upon his semi transparent form and the figure would stand just over six feet in height. The hood worn would cover the wound he suffered that led to his death, which was having his skull cracked open from a fall from a ledge within the old Arcane Delver’s base back in Anthos.

             Nope.

Do you agree to keep Story writers updated on the status of your magic app?:

             I agree.

Do you understand that if this creature's lore is undergoing an activity trial and that trial fails, you will no longer be able to play this creature and will be forced to either revert the character back to its normal form (if it was a transformative type) or stop playing the character entirely (if it is an entirely new creature)?:

             I understand.

Memey RP or using this CA for subpar villain/bandit RP can lead to your app being denied, even after acceptance. Please put "I understand" as your response once you have read this part and understand the consequences.

             I understand.

Have you applied for this creature on this character before, and had it denied? If so, link the app:

             I have not.

Hi, I and a few other Story Members are currently implementing all the alchemical nodes. At the current time, about 40+ (I think) are greenlit and spawn on live, about 30-40 more are in standby to be activated, and about 120+ more after that are yet to be put in. They are being added everyday in batches of about 10-20, and with any luck once we break the 150+ mark on live, they should be much easier to find. That said, please message me on discord for further feedback about botany nodes as I can handle your comments directly and value them greatly. I don't think botany nodes should be necessarily difficult to find, or too easy to monopolize one set of nodes that might be daisy-chained too close together.

    Thank fricking gurd.

  8. Characters name: Zafirah

Characters specific details:  Right eye missing with eye patch over as seen, scar tissue runs down her cheek and ends just below the cheekbone. Only eye has a super light orange glow to it and the pupil is slightly broken apart into fragments that looks to be swirling like being in a blending, left arm has a glove that runs to the shoulder. She is also 4’11” tall and has the form of an Elvish woman. She has small animal bones laced into her attire that look like small animal bones knotted in between the fabric. Her teeth are also interlocking and resemble that of a wolfs, slightly curved inwards to the Half-Orcs maw Her right tusk(Her perspective) Is slightly larger, though both are tiny compared to a regular Uruks, only being an inch to the larger one, and three-quarters of an inch showing for the smaller. I’ll send you more details on her facial features on Discord.

Characters Personality: Extremely cautious with strangers, though is open and friendly to those she cares for and trusts. Though one to be set into a blood rage due to her past of being disconnected from two hold orders, Ascended and Xan.

    Simple background? ( ) Yes  (*) No

If you said Yes to simple background, please give details:

Pose:  A general idea of her is maybe to have the Half-Orc holding a small ball of dark crimson malflame that sheds no light upon her form, it hovering some inches over the elevated hand like shown here. The other gloved hand having an onyx-colored grimoire with its yellowed pages being open by her splayed palm at waist level. A focused glare instead of a happy smile would be coolio too!

See I’ve gone through something similar with playing a Muyakelg for about a year. We didnt feel anything, lacked blood and emotions, and were bound to a master of sorts. But where it differentiates is that we had obvious pro’s and con’s that were meant to spur RP more than be murder machines. For example, some of us could have four legs or four arms. For the most part my character kept his two other arms hidden, but when brought out there was a ‘wow’ factor to it. He was incredibly strong. Another merit of it was that Shamanism was the fuel, so anything that the spirits wanted was what the Muyakelg and his master were ordered to do. We had gone on many many quests, and to add on top of this we could eat ghosts and graven’s with proper rp, essentially a way of ‘feeding’. Along with this our skull was a walking vulnerability, as if shattered it was the characters PK. This lore lacks most if not all of these. It lacks true depth aside from depressed murder machines with no purpose other than to just be fuckin’ stupidly hard to kill, or even main at that. Sure blunt damage can do something but in a one on one there is nothing you can do really. I remember fighting these folk many times before and there is a good reason they are dead. They add little to nothing except another problematic circle-jerk power hoard.

Your input is taken into perspective, I am currently rewriting a good chunk of the DK’s lore and mechanics with help from a few others. We’ll see to it becoming much more than what the old Dreadknights had not been, thank you for the feedback.

So if they are killed with one final purpose they cannot become graven? I still support this but id just like the questioned cleared up. Looks super fun and exciting!

That is a touchy subject, it mainly relies on how the current rewrite of ghost lore comes out to be, if this lore is passed and ghost lore is altered. A small addition can be put in place for mechanics dealing with being PK’ed as a Dreadknight and coming back as a spectral being.
