  1. I think that if we asked the 4.0 developers to build a "tutorial island" in-game at the Cloud Temple island, that we could benefit both veteran and new players. I am certain it would help. Perhaps line the path with NPCs who describe the features of the crafting plugin as well? I think a wiki page is in order as well.

  2. I liked it, even though I ended up being slain by a ghetto piglet in the end. The magic plugin sure knows how to keep someone actively running around in game, which is cool on my end. My favorite spells the ice-block one, though.

    Conclave members may be mad at you Iblees worshipers but I say good fight to you.

    Dear reader,

     

    I, Theobalt Rolnik, regretfully write to you today to explain that I am resigning from my positions of city steward and Captain of the King's Watch. Most recently this day I was molested by Lord Ailred Ruthern and his goons, the rebels and a Dwarf. They stripped me of my rights and instantly grouped upon me, mishandled me and tied me to the news post of the city square. I was only saved just barely by his majesty King Heinrik I and sentenced to manual labor, which I avoided. This is not the only time I was disrupted by a man with high position in Oren, this including the Pope himself. I am finished with the mistreatment of myself and feel like my work is no longer deserving of this great mislead nation. 

     

    Recently I have noticed more and more of the absolute flaws of the feudal state in which Man resides. A power hungry struggle, setting man against man at times can be found. Feudalism has never worked and if I am correct it barely survived within the Empire itself. I am no longer associating myself with such dreadful policies of Oren and move on to a different lifestyle. 

     

    I hereby resign from city steward as well as Captain of the King's Watch. I am no rebel so mind not pursuing me.

    Unfortunately I cannot put up a greater argument for it than your own, so thank you for linking it. If you'd like to post that same post on this thread perhaps it would work as well, but I am certain the topic itself would get more input if you were to post it here as this is a newer thread.

  10. My idea is that players on Lord of the Craft should be limited to one character per username registered. That means that players should only be allowed to have one character per "account" they have on Lord of the Craft. I feel that this would benefit the server because the more characters someone has (in my opinion) the worse the player is able to progress and develop that character, a large part of roleplay in the first place. The extreme amount of characters some players have also has the chance to spread out roleplay. When they could be roleplaying on one character in said character's town, they are elsewhere roleplaying in another town. I feel like this is a problem and spreads out roleplay too much. I have heard that some players even have over ten characters! That is way overboard and simply unneeded. 

     

    Another feature of this character limit would be preventing war-alts from being a nuisance to many people. If you wanted to fight in a war you would need to use your character and have it impact them and develop them rather than a one-day alt which is discarded soonly after.

     

    This could also be an idea for a new and perhaps largely wanted VIP perk. Each time you increase VIP ranks perhaps you can get one more character "card". For example:

    • Coal VIP: two character slots
    • Iron VIP: three character slots
    • Gold VIP: four character slots
    • Diamond VIP: five character slots

    and so on.

     

    This rule can be enforced by customizing the roleplay essentials plugin into only allowing players with the OP (moderator + admin rank) to change player's races. Without the ability to change races on their own, players cannot abuse the ability to change your whole character card at will.

    It has come to the attention of the city stewardship that you (insert name) have yet to pay your tax to the city of Abresi. The stewardship, in an act of kindness, have allotted you one two (2) days to pay said taxes or you, the citizen, will face a warranted eviction enforced by the King's Watch."
