  1. Sorry to say I will have to take temporary leave on this Forum RP. Going on a vacation to Mexico on Friday for 2 weeks, so I won't really be able to post. So bye for now, I guess.
  2. Sikh Confederacy Makul looked upon the borders of the Sikh Confederacy. It had begun. The Triple Alliance of Kashmir, Greater Nepal, and Maharashtra declared war upon the Sikh Confederacy. Prior to the war, the Sikh's mobilized to form an army of 215,000 men with 35,000 in reserve. However some of these lacked proper guns. Because of this, Makul ordered a sweep of the nation to find old weapon stores, both from the Kalat Empire and the old nation of India that was alive before the Last War. They found some Kalat weaponry, and some old un-usable broken Indian weaponry. However, Sikh engineers said that, given time, they could replicate it to provide new guns for Sikh troops. ((5 pages)) Maharashtra Front Maharashtra was the largest of the Sikh enemies, with it's capitol in far-away Mumbai, and it shared the most extensive border with the Sikh Confederacy. Because of this, 4 Sikh Armies were assigned to this sector. Mahar troops, who had been taught that the Sikh's were power-hungry barbarians, assumed that they could easily attack, since the Sikh's were on multiple fronts. The Mahar 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Armies attacked the Sikh 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th armies in an all-out assault. The Sikh 6th and 7th armies had little to no modern weaponry, much to their dislike, which made it hard to defend. To solve this, the Sikh's dug in on the Sabarmati river, which made it very difficult to attack. The Sikh 5th and 4th armies defended with ease, driving off Mahar attackers, and after, even getting the green-light on a counter attack to take the pressure off of the Sikh's further south. The assault succeeded, and although with heavy casualties, the Sikh's took up new positions on the Banas river in Maharashtra, planning to dig in and hold the front for as long as possible. Nepalese Front The nation of Greater Nepal was dangerously close to New Delhi, and because of this, prior to the war the Sikh's had worked on turning the whole salient into a fortress, with mines, trenches, and anything else. This salient was manned by 2 Sikh Garrisons, altogether consisting of 40,000 troops. The Nepal 2nd and 3rd Armies, supported by Maharashtra's 4th Army, assaulted these garrisons. Sikh troops defended furiously, and when Mahar troops ran into the minefields, they were quickly turned around. Nepalese troops were less willing to retreat, but after careful inspection, Nepalese Generals found that it would be impossible to assault without disastrous casualties. But Nepalese Generals worked out a way to solve the problem, by advancing further north with the Nepal 1st Army, to come up on the northern flank of the Sikh 1st Garrison, and dislodge them from their positions. It was slow, but eventually Nepalese troops, along with the help of the Kashmir 4th Army, took up positions on the Sikh's northern flank. However, Nepalese troops were too tired from the initial offensive to carry out a new one right away. This would give the Sikh's time to build up defenses on the new northern threat. Kashmir Front The battle against the troops of Kashmir would prove to be the most disastrous for Sikh troops. This shocked Sikh Generals, who assumed with Kashmir being the smallest nation in the war, they would be less of a threat, therefore the Sikh's stationed more men on the Maharashtra Frontier. It would prove a big mistake. Kashmir troops fought with determination, driving Sikh troops from their positions quickly. Eventually the Kashmir advance grew out of control, the Kashmir 2nd and 3rd Armies spear-heading the offensive. But a Sikh counter-attack soon forced them to stop their advance, in the process preventing Kashmir troops taking Islamabad, which would prove disastrous to Sikh morale. However the counter-attack did little but stop Kashmir, Sikh troops hardly regaining any territory. Sikh Generals looked upon the fronts in awe. This was to be a much harder war then the one against the Kalat Empire, that was for sure.
  3. Sikh Confederacy The ship from the Kingdom of Ethiopia reaches Sikh shores, and the Sikh's ask the Ethiopians to establish trade between their two Empires. Meanwhile, men are sent to establish communication with the Sons of Allah and The Dragon Empire after whispers of the nations reach Sikh ears. Work begins on a long term Sikh project - a small navy, which would include 20 transport ships, 5 submarines, 7 destroyers, 5 corvettes, 6 patrol vessels, and 2 battleships. ((20 pages)) Meanwhile, tensions increase on the Indian continent. Makul Mamraj is worried at how close some of it's enemies are to New Delhi, and sees it as an obvious problem. He orders the construction of thick line of trenches, forts, barbwire, minefields, anything that is useful for defense to be deployed along the borders nearest to New Delhi with Greater Nepal, Kashmir, and Maharashtra. War was becoming more and more inevitable, but if the Sikh's emerged victorious, uniting the Indian continent would be at hand. If they were defeated, Makul's dream of a united India may never come true.
  4. Sikh Confederacy It wasn't supposed to happen like this! Makul was enraged. He had thought that by taking New Delhi he would earn respect among the Indian tribes and nations, and they would be encouraged to join the Confederacy. But it was the exact opposite. Apparently free India wanted to remain free. This troubled Makul greatly. There was one Triple Alliance that had been made against the Sikh Confederacy, each nation bordering it and coveting Sikh lands. Because of this threat, Makul ordered the full mobilization of the Sikh Army. The triple alliance and the Sikh Confederacy. The Sikh Confederacy in red, Kashmir in blue, Maharashtra in green, and Greater Nepal in purple In good news, the food situation in the Sikh Confederacy is now under control. A new harvest is starting to come, with farms now made. The re-stocking of food on shelves at stores re-assure the Sikh populous, along with military police, propaganda, and other things of the like, the disorder within the Confederacy itself was quickly quelled, some by fear of the new Sikh military police. But unfortunately military police did not make the other Indian nations be calm. The Triple Alliance of Kashmir, Maharashtra, and Greater Nepal were all thirsty for Sikh land, and 3 versus 1 on two fronts did not usually turn out well.
  5. Sikh Confederacy The annexation of the Kalat Empire had resulted with the Sikh's gaining much more food stores, but also made it so the population of the Confederacy was doubled. A massive recruitment campaign for fishermen was introduced in the Sikh Confederacy, offering free transport to the coast for people further inland who were interested. Seafood and fish became a rising food source in the Confederacy, as the Sikh's begin to combat the bad harvest. Meanwhile, confident of the fishing campaign, Makul sends his armies to occupy the city of New Delhi along with a wide stretch of territory. After the Last War, New Delhi had been named a holy city, and was not to be fought over in any instance with the tribal wars. But by claiming the city as part of the Sikh Confederacy, it gives a sense of pride. Many Indians begin to believe that the Sikh's are truly the ones to unite India, and a sense of leadership and power erupts among the Sikh people. The Sikh capitol is moved a 2nd time to New Delhi, which Makul presents in a stirring speech as "The one true capitol of the one true Indian nation."
  6. Just realized I'm not in the Skype thing. My skype is goldensmoof, can I be added please?
  7. Sikh Confederacy As winter set in, a bad harvest did too. The leader of the Sikh Confederacy, Makul Mamraj, considered calling off the entire war against the Kalat Empire, simply making peace. But Kabir Gajanan changed his mind. Kabir proposed one final offensive could knock the Kalat Empire out of the war. The offensive would strike out for the coast, along with the Kalat capitol of Karachi. Karachi had been harmed by flooding, but the Kalat Empire had worked to rebuilding the city. Kabir believed if he could take this along with a great swathe of land, the Kalat's would surrender. Taking the coast would also open up a whole new food source. Fish and seafood. By this, Makul was convinced he could win the war and feed his people at the same time. Makul Mamraj gave the green light on the offensive. Kabir also had the element of surprise. He thought the Kalat Empire would not expect such an assault because of the bad harvest and because it was winter. The Kalat 4th Army and the Sikh 1st Army were also each back on the front, having recovered from the Battle of the Indus. The Sikh 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Armies would be facing off against 4 Kalat Armies, however one of them was exhausted from the previous battle, which is why the main thrust of the offensive would be against that army. The final battle in the Sikh-.Kalat War The leader of the Kalat Empire on the first day on the offensive called it a "Sikh Day" for his army. The offensive opened with the Sikh 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Armies launching a brutal assault on the Kalat 1st, 2nd, and 4th Armies. The Kalat Armies that had suffered losses of both men and morale in the previous battle were quick to falter back to a defensive line that lied straight before Karachi itself. However the Kalat 4th Army was determined, and inflicted heavy casualties on the first Sikh assault. When the Kalat 3rd Army began chewing on the SIkh flank, the Sikh 1st Army seemed close to collapse. But then a miracle came for the Sikh 1st Army, as the Sikh 3rd Army came crashing into the flank of the Kalat 4th Army. The Kalat troops still held their ground, but it was becoming increasingly difficult. But the killing blow for the Kalat armies was when the Sikh 2nd Army, the army that had proven to be the best in the war, took Karachi. By this point the Kalat 1st and 2nd Armies were in complete collapse, unable to hold the line. In a last ditch-effort, the Kalat 3rd Army stopped it's offensive on the Sikh 1st Army, and was transferred down south to try to mount a counter-offensive. But when word of Karachi's downfall and the movement of the Kalat 3rd Army reached the Kalat 4th Army, morale completely faltered, and soon they found themselves in retreat. As the Sikh 2nd and 3rd Armies now crashed through the remaining Kalat lines and reached the Indus river just north of Karachi with little to no resistance, the Kalat 4th Army retreated, and the desperate counter-attack by the Kalat 3rd Army failed miserably, the Kalat Empire had had enough. A treaty was signed, where the Sikh Confederacy demanded full annexation of the Kalat Empire. At first the Kalat's refused, but when Sikh troops resumed their advance, the Kalat leaders knew they had to accept to prevent further loss of lives. Makul looked onto a map of his new empire. Now, the only enemy was starvation.
  8. Sikh Confederacy In the Sikh Confederacy, work begins on many farms in the country, to help feed the populous. ((3 pages)) Sikh troops are sent to occupy a region of territory that was home to the former capital of Pakistan, Islamabad. The city is almost completely untouched by the Last War, and is up for grabs. The people living in the city are happy to be a part of a real civilization once more, and the city is set as the new Sikh capitol. Meanwhile on the battlefield, Kabir Gajanan orchestrated a brave Sikh assault, to drive Kalat troops out of Sikh territory, and push towards the coast, perhaps even make it there, however Kabir did not expect to reach that far. In the battle the Sikh 2nd and 3rd armies would be pitted against the Kalat 1st and 2nd armies. The Sikh 1st Army and the Kalat 4th army were both away from the frontline, recovering their strength. Orange represents the frontline before the battle began. The red is the initial moves in the battle, blue the advances as the battle progresses, purple the closing stages of the battle, and turquoise the changes in the frontline. The battle began. The Kalat 2nd Army was initially pushed far back by the Sikh 3rd Army, but then Kalat troops launched a counter-attack, regaining most of their lost ground. The Sikh 2nd Army saw complete success, however. It pushed back Kalat troops in the opening assault, then for the second advance, they had help from troops from the Sikh 3rd Army, which closed in on the Kalat flank. Kalat troops set up a desperate last defense, which Sikh troops broke through in a third and final assault. After it, Sikh troops were deemed too exhausted to move on, and the battle ended with a minor Sikh victory. The Kalat 1st Army had been beaten badly, but the Kalat 2nd Army still stood surprisingly strong, much to Kabir's dislike.
  9. Sikh Confederacy The Sikh Confederacy was in a brutal war against the Kalat Empire, where the Kalat Empire had more troops and land then the Sikh's. Because of this, the Sikh Confederacy's Chief of Staff, Kabir Gajanan, suggested a defensive stance to start off the war, to inflict deadly casualties upon Kalat troops. Kabir predicted an assault made by Kalat troops, and sure enough, he was right. The Kalat Empire planned to attack along a broad front, to get on the other side of the fortified Indus river. If they could succeed, the Sikh's would have their main defenses gone, and would be doomed in the war. The Battle of the Indus, red arrows mark the opening stages of the battle, blue the stages of the battle as it is developing, purple, the closing stages of the battle, and orange marking any changes to the frontlines. The 'Battle of the Indus' started with the Kalat 2nd, 3rd, and 4th armies attacking the Sikh 1st, 2nd, and 3rd armies. The Kalat 1st Army was to hold it's position in the meantime. Each army consisted of about 25,000 troops, however the Kalat 3rd army had 30,000, as 5,000 would be assisting in the attack of the Sikh 1st Army. The Sikh 1st Army had the hardest time defending, as it found itself attacked from two sides. The battle between the Sikh 2nd Army and the Kalat 3rd Army ended in a stalemate, neither side gaining little or any ground. The Sikh 3rd Army defended furiously, sending the Kalat 4th Army retreating with heavy casualties. But the Sikh 1st Army seemed close to collapsing, so the Sikh 2nd and 3rd Armies launched a massive counter-attack. At first the Kalat 3rd Army held strong, but when the weakened Kalat 4th army was forced to retreat, and the Kalat 3rd Army risked being flanked, it too retreated. Meanwhile, the Kalat 1st Army was ordered to attack the Sikh 1st Army, to try to stop the Sikh counter-attack. It achieved minor success, gaining some territory from the battered Sikh 1st Army. In total, the Kalat Empire suffered 27,000 casualties while the Sikh Confederacy took 18,000. Kabir was relieved. He had prevented a massive Kalat assault, and gained territory.
  10. Sikh Confederation The Sikh Confederation was founded by Makul Mamraj, in the general area that was formerly known as Pakistan. It rose up against other minor tribes in the region, and claimed dominance. The Sikh Confederation had a population of over 13,000,000, due to the Indian sub-continent having the largest population in the world. The Sikh's also have an army of 100,000 soldiers, the number had to be large as India is a giant warzone, forcing the Sikh's to mobilize. But the Sikh Confederacy was faced with a giant threat on it's southern border. The Kalat Empire, with an army of 130,000, was currently at war with the Sikh Confederation. It all started when the Sikh armies went to claim land down south to claim coastal territory. The Kalat Empire wanted this land as well, and they sent an army to challenge the Sikh's. Diplomacy led to conflict, and ended with a Kalat victory, ensuring the Sikh Confederacy would remain land-locked for the time being. Sikh troops on the front line, watching for signs of movement from the Kalat Empire's troops. The Sikh Confederacy had a smaller army and was a smaller nation then the Kalat Empire, so the Sikh leading General, Kabir Gajanan, proposed the Sikh's maintain a defensive stance, wait for Kalat troops to mount an offensive, and inflict huge casualties on the Kalat Empire, then go on the offensive. Sikh troops dug in on the border, choosing rocky and mountainous terrain. Soon the Kalat Generals realized that the Sikh's weren't attacking, and they assumed that this was because they took too heavy casualties from the initial skirmishes. Based on this assumption, the Kalat Empire prepared to launch an assault on Sikh positions. Sikh Confederacy in Red, Kalat Empire in purple.

Have you applied to this server before?(Please link past applications): - N/A How did you hear about us?: - I saw videos of big battles from “Munch909” on youtube. What do you think the server will be like? - Well, to be plain, a server bustling with people, with battles and just general roleplay. Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Yes What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: - The one where it says powergaming isn’t allowed, since that would get me very angry if I was a victim. Definitions What is roleplaying?: - Basically where you take the role of a character that you created, and live out the life of him/her. What’s metagaming?: - Using OOC knowledge and making your character know it. For example, if you saw a forum post that was about plans for a war, then in-game you go to your King and say: “DA ORCZ R PLANIN 2 ATAK US!!!111!!!!!1” What’s powergaming?: - If you give your character powers that would be impossible or unfair for him/her to do. He could see someone staring at him, and she appeared to be crying, but smiling at the same time. This was Tharald’s mother. But Tharald had only a few moments before a door slammed in the room, and a Dwarf with a thick reddish-orange beard came running towards him. “Am ‘ah late? Where is ‘e--” Tharald’s father’s voice was cut off as he saw baby Tharald. “Aha! Tha li’l feck ‘as got ‘is fadder’s fiery ‘air! A true Mountin’ Dwarf if ‘ah ever be see’in one!” Tharald’s father looked at his mother. “Wha’ should we call ‘im?” Tharald’s mother stared for a few seconds. “Th-Thar-Tharald.” Tharald’s father nodded, holding Tharald in his arms. Tharald, now a small boy, walked outside with his father, swinging a small wooden axe in the air. He had followed his father out of their home in Kal’Alras, and it looked like they were heading out of the city. In his head, Tharald was imagining himself as Urguan, swinging his axe into the heads of Orc warriors. Even though this, of course, is not what Urguan did in the stories, Tharald had been told of the many wars the Dwarves and Orcs have had against each other, and he assumed that they had always hated each other. Tharald looked around. His father had taken him out of the city, and to what looked like a wooden dummy, shaped like a man. “Alright.” Tharald’s father said. “Today ‘ah am gonna teach ye ‘ow ta use yer axe. Jes’ like ah do. Okeh?” Tharald nodded. “Okeh. Hit th’ dummy.” Tharald swung his axe, hitting the dummy in the leg. It was his first time swinging an axe at a real enemy. Before Tharald knew it, he had a fully grown beard, and he was strong. Tharald loved using an axe. He had tried mining and lumberjacking, but he preferred combat as a whole. He was okay at mining, but obviously not as good as the Cave Dwarves, and he did fairly well at lumberjacking, but did not altogether enjoy the job. Soon afterwards, Tharald would split away from his parents, and he quickly became an independent Dwarf. It came as a great surprise to Tharald when he found out that Asulon was being left behind. It was where he was born and raised, and he did not want to leave. But the promise of a brave new world was exciting to Tharald, so he went along. But when the boats arrived at Elysium, it was not what Tharald would call a brave new world. He detested the land compared to Asulon, and wondered what life would have been like if he stayed. But Tharald would soon be satisfied, when they set sail once again, this time landing on a big, new continent. Anthos. As he touched Anthos’ shores, he grinned. This was the new land he was looking for. Tharald would come to live in the great Mountains where the Dwarves claimed their territory in Anthos, and hoped to remain for seasons to come. What are they like (personality)?: - Tharald is much like any other Dwaf. He values honor, and is a proud person. Tharald does not, however, have as bad of a temper as some other Dwarves, but if he get’s angry, he can be just as bad. What are their ambitions?: - Tharald wishes to join the Dwarven army and win battles in the name of Urguan, but other than that, he is pretty short-sighted. Do they have any special skills?: - Tharald is strong and can handle an axe very well, being a capable fighter. He is also capable with a crossbow, but not nearly as good as other Dwarves. The same goes for mining. What are their weaknesses?: - Tharald is not a very fast Dwarf. Not because he is overly obese, but is simply a slow runner. He is also not the smartest of Dwarves. It might take him a while to pick up on what someone is saying, but when he gets it, he is quick to understand. Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - Tharald looks much like the common Mountain Dwarf, having reddish-orange hair and a long beard, separated into two long braids. Tharald wears dark red clothes, however these are covered by his Dwarven armor. Tharald also has a silver belt around his waist, and dark metal chainmail covering his arms. Anything else you want to say about them?: - Not really. Please give us a screenshot of your character’s skin: -
