How did you hear about us?: - I was playing the LoTR EmpireWars server, and when I got tired, I looked up Lord of the Rings RPG Minecraft and LoTC came up as the server of choice. What do you think the server will be like? - I’ve looked around on the server already; I have a pretty good idea of what it has to offer so far, and I think that it has a very complete world with a solid basis for role-play gaming. Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Yes, I fully agree to all rules. What’s your favorite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: - Rule: “If you feel the need to curse (swear) in-character, keep it tasteful and don't overdo it.” I like this rule because I think that it would add more immersion to the gameplay if the server has fictitious curses and grudge-type things towards each race and such. The way that the rule is written amuses me as well. What’s your character called?: - Jakobus Brynjonidae What race are they (and sub-race)?: - Human What sex are they?: - Male How old are they?: - 20 Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): - Jakobus Brynjon was born to Nikolai Brynjon and Nicole Anidem, not far from Abresi, capital of Orren , in a village named Madinae. His mother’s family owned a farm there, and that was where he and his younger brother were raised. He and his brother, Joshua, became very close. When Jakobus was 10, the neighboring village was brutally pillaged by Dwarves. When the Dwarven Army came to his home, His father fought against them, but managed to survive. Jakobus and Joshua ran away from the battle and saved their mother. They arrived in Abresi and informed the officials of the skirmishes that had been going on near them. The city sent reinforcements to aid the soldiers of Madinae, and eventually the battle was won. Jakobus’s father, Nikolai, came to Madinae with the rest of the victorious soldiers after the fight. The family reunited there and continued to live on their farm. Throughout his life there, Jakobus looked up to his Father, who had become a delegate in a small local council. He wished to debate and argue with other councilmen as well, as there was not one thing that he loved more than arguing a point to other men. He received a fair amount of combat training, mostly archery, and was very fascinated by the mageworks of wizards, but at heart, he truly enjoyed art, and the art of writing and reading. Jakobus had never truly experienced war or what it really feels like to be under pressure, until he was enlisted to be a warrior with his brother Joshua. He fought in few battles, but learned discipline and what hard work means. After he dropped out from the ranks to start his own life, he was ready to be an adult, and to use his skills to support himself and the community. What are they like (personality)?: - Jakobus can be arrogant and stubborn, but he can also be esteemed, polite, and well mannered. He is skilled, courageous, and strong willed. What are their ambitions?: - He wants to continue to fight for his kind, and he wants to write, draw, travel, and meet new people. Do they have any special skills?: - Jakobus is extremely talented at art, and writing, and is a very well trained archer and swordsman. He also is gifted with the good speech skills, and is talented at arguing and bargaining. What are their weaknesses?: - Jakobus is horribly afraid of sickness, and he does not like someone being better than him, which can be a flaw because at times, its hard for him to acknowledge others of higher status then him. Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - long, light-brown hair, dark eyes, small beard, blue vest and leather pants.
