In two days, it will have been 10 years since I joined LotC. I endured several different iterations of the LotC community, and I have been both on the receiving and giving end of really shitty, toxic behavior. I thought that since I matured and learned from my mistakes that anyone else could. When Charlemagne appealed, and there was support on his appeal, I thought there was a possibility that he changed. While he was back, I saw that change and I thought that it was okay. I didn’t come to think that even though he possibly changed, his behavior could not be redeemed on our platform.

 

There is a threshold that cannot be crossed, and we see that in this thread. I personally underestimated how much this community has changed in the ten years I’ve been here. I reflected on what I had posted, and I started to have a weird feeling about it. It wasn’t a call that I was 100% confident in. 

 

I am sorry, specifically to Muna and MissToni that we mishandled this. 

 

Lord of the Craft serves to offer a place that people can escape some of the realities of their real life situation. My topmost priority has been to encourage a safe and welcoming environment for everyone. Please hold me to that. If I cannot offer that to you, the community, then please ask me to resign and I will. My next step is to implement standards for the roleplay server communities we advertise in our public discord, and set rules & guidelines for conduct we expect on discord.

The Damager-maker, Lord of Untold Damage, Sign-heathen, Sign-maker, and Sign-abuser are all a few and notable monikers. I know you are probably asking yourself this, which is why should you care? Just follow this mental road of legendary proportion of Damage-maker in his adventure of being a sign polluter. In order to achieve his feats he fasted for 7 sevens days, before on the 8th day spending all 24 hours of light and night of every waking moment showing the flaw of coders beneath the Untold Damage-maker. Secondly, in one fell sweep, like a Golden Mongol Horde he decimated the empty sign population into a message for any wary Tarnished. It is said the Sign-abuser, Sign-maker, Sign-heathen, Lord of Untold Damage, and the Damage-maker's spirit was so strong in his will of hating the Palebeast he imploded on the billionth sign. I have never met someone who showed such tenacity in showing their indomitable spirit and devotion. I ask you to always remember our Fallen Hero of many names.

Yes, Burnsider, I relate with you a lot on this subject. The sign massacre can NEVER happen again under any cost. Slorbin, The Master of Untold Damage, is an active threat to universal law of signs. Such a sign war-monger, who knows what he would do in the Second Great Sign Crisis.

Yes, which I've reconciled with and was able to accept that what I did was wrong after lapses in judgement. My prior mistakes do not justify the actions of others in the present. There are better ways to present feedback about a poorly-made plugin, and it's not by exploiting it heavily to the point where Tech & Admins had to prevent people from making new signs.

if he owns up to his mistake, what do you think is an appropriate ban length?  

i am also a law abiding citizen, but i do hate paying taxes 

i think he just wanted to be a sign maniac for Halloween though

thank you for being the older brother, if you were just there for him as a youth maybe his business in sign making would not of gone to become such a hobby of his character, like can you just picture how long that must of taken his character? just unbelievable

yeah what a sign maniac and advocate, he must of had a lot of charcoal for all that palebeast hate, maybe he actually did it all in blood but just couldn't type it in all the signs? i am not sure? maybe he was like Moses who was by God granted the tablets? still i am not sure? maybe he had an epiphany? i am really not sure? uh Crevel what do you think, i am not sure enough to be sure

What more can I say besides I knew the Sign-maker? A sign plug-in advocate. They had such a passion for RP inscribing esoteric madness throughout the realm that they were struck by a lightning bolt for it. They hated the Palebeast in such fervor it could its kindling could not be undone. How is such a dedication awarded? It is awarded in an undefined length of ban. In that big bang of a ban, a palebeast hating legend was fabricated from the depths of a palebeast hater. I was there that day when that shroom-tea-sipping-wizard was so indoctrinated into the palebeast that their quest to spell it on every single wall and corner was unquenchable. God save the sign maniac... there goes my hero... watching as he goes
