Have you been on any other roleplaying servers?: - I have been on other roleplaying servers, such as Persistent Worlds, and Avalon. Have you applied to this server before? How did you hear about us?: - I heard about this server from Google when I was searching for a Minecraft fantasy roleplay server. What do you think the server will be like? - I think the server will be like the real world, full of potential and gigantic. What’s your favourite rule / the rule you agree with the most?: - The rule I agree most with happens to be the rule that states that you can either fight in roleplay or player versus player. What is roleplaying?: - Roleplaying is when you decide that you would like to be something else than what you are for fun, as an example there are people that like to roleplay in real life that they are the Union from the civil war and fight with people roleplaying to be the confederates. What’s metagaming?: - Metagaming is when you have outside knowledge of a roleplaying event, like let's say you were fighting an Ent, and you are losing. Sure looks like you could need some help, but nobody's around. So you decide that you will text your buddies that play this server to help you out, turning the tides of the battle, but also your buddies in roleplay never knew you were fighting an Ent, so it doesn't make sense why they would come to that particular spot on the map and just "happen to stumble into them" and help you out. What’s powergaming?: - Powergaming is when in roleplay you are fighting a person, let's say an elf, and the elf shows the emote *fires an arrow at Bloin*. Now let's say that sense you didn't know much of roleplay that you do the emote *dodges the arrow and runs up to the elf and chops his head off and the elf is dead.* That makes the elf mad so in OOC he states to an admin that you are powergaming, and you end up getting in trouble and banned for a month. In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play. What’s your character called?: - My character is called Bloin Steelfoot. What race are they (and sub-race)?: - Bloin's race is Dwarf, and his sub-race happens to be Cavern Dwarf. What sex are they?: - Bloin's sex is male. How old are they?: - Bloin is at the age of 30. Give us a brief description of their life - their story, childhood, family (Include server lore when writing): - Like most people, Bloin didn't remember much as a baby. But his mother always enjoyed to jabber away of how cute he was, and how fast he was at crawling and walking. Bloin's father enjoyed to state that he was very heroic on how he helped Bloin's mother with Bloin with the birth. So Bloin's parents and him resided in a small underground village somewhere in Anthos(Yes Anthos, Ruby and Falin died before 1457, the year was 1450 when they died since the ten years of mining.) with only three houses, Bloin's, the Irontongues', and the Rubyeyes'. Bloin's best friend, Falin, was an Irontongue. As a child Bloin would put on races with Falin to see who was the swiftest. Bloin always won. Bloin's crush resided in the Rubyeye family, and she was a beauty. Her beard was black as night, her eyes the color of sparkling rubies, making her name Ruby. The day Bloin was about to make a move, goblins, mistaking a pack of orcs to live there in hope to trade, and attacked the village. Since Bloin was twenty at the time, he grabbed his axe and went into the fight! The goblins outnumbered the dwarves fighting four to one, but to these dwarves it just meant they would all have to kill four goblins. The dwarves fighting were Bloin, his father, Falin, his father, and Ruby's father. The dwarves fought their best, and when the goblins were driven out, they had two deaths and one injury. One of them was Falin, the other Ruby, and one Bloin. Falin had died due to a goblin sneaking up from behind and stabbing him in the gut, and then the goblin slit his throat. When the goblin noticed Falin was still alive, he bashed Falin's brains in with Falin's own axe. The way Ruby died was that she secretly was on top of her parent's roof, ready with a sword. She jumped down to stab a goblin and kill it, but it all went wrong. The goblin knew what was coming so as Ruby jumped off the roof, she landed head-first into the goblin's blade. When Bloin was fighting, he was fighting a goblin quite skilled with a blade. Normally this would not impact Bloin, for his father had taught him to master the art of hand to hand combat. But this goblin knew where Bloin was the most insecure. His foot. The goblin slashed Bloin's right foot clean off, but before the goblin could kill him Bloin threw his axe at the goblin's head and killed it. After the fighting Bloin's mother did medical work on his foot, and it hurt. But eventually Bloin's mom replaced his foot with a steel one, so the name Steelfoot came into place. So as the funerals were happening, Bloin was so sad, so miserable. Not only had his love died, his best friend as well. He would mourn for days and days, all adding up to five. After, that, he pulled himself together and mined in the mine the three families had made. For ten years he mined, trying to mine to forget his friends' deaths. But ten years later, Bloin decided to forget their deaths he would leave the village. To The Grand Kingdom of Uruguan Bloin walked, but as Bloin had no idea where he was, he would seek the help of villages not too far from there to see if he was already there or if he was somewhere else. He hadn't really planned it well. So the purpose for this travel? To see what he could do to find a new life, with new people, a new beginning. Off into the Fringe.(The year is currently 1460, please forgive me if I am wrong but I did some math and 1457 was on 14/04/14, so 43 IRL days, divided by 14 to get to the years, which, rounded to the ones, is about 3 years. 30 years ago when Bloin was born, it was 1430. And the Fringe started on 1457, so 3 years later here Bloin is.) What are they like (personality)?: - Bloin's personality includes traits such as nervous, as he was constantly afraid of people mentioning Ruby and Falin or asking of his personal life, and he is also clumsy, as his foot doesn't allow him to be stealthy. What are their ambitions?: - Bloin's ambitions are to find a new home in order to forget his past, and to make some money in order to purchase his own house in a city. Do they have any special skills?: - Bloin, even though his foot stops him from doing this flawlessly, was taught by his father to master fighting. He can be an extremely effective coach for soldiers. What are their weaknesses?: - Bloin's weaknesses include people talking about his friends' death, his foot, and his lack of friends. Give us a description of how they look (not a screenshot yet!)?: - Bloin looks like a grey-skinned dwarf, with a black Mohawk. He also has a black beard braided in purple and green gems, his eyes are golden and large bushy eyebrows. He wears armor on his legs that conceals his steel foot, he wears a brown tunic with a scabbard on the back designed to hold axes.
