Ravens would be sent across the Realm of Man, from the Courlandic Ducal Palace to the known landed Nobles of the realm, each one carrying a copy of the same missive. The missive would be sealed with the wax sigil of House Staunton of Courland.

    9th Snow’s Maiden, 1563.

To the Lords of the Realm,

It has come to my attention on this very morn, that a host of Courlanders sent to the Carnatian Stronghold of Gryphon’s Hold as a final step toward ending a war that has been ravaging the north for the past three years, have only been met with cold steel. Not only were the victims of the Carnatian aggression loyal Courlanders and loyal men of the Empire, but one was a noble of our Realm, Jacques Fournier who was brutally butchered and his mutilated body found in the snow. GOD allowed us to reunite Lord Fournier with his young son’s body, allowing him to hold a proper burial. The barbaric acts of the Vanirs and Carnatians cannot, and will not be dismissed as so much has been before, the men of Courland will no longer stand for this sort of disobedience and violation of His Imperial Majesty’s laws, and we will take it upon ourselves to rid Courland of her Carnatian invaders, and of the Empire if his Imperial Majesty wishes. This feudal war was once over a crumbling Vanir keep, but the blatant murder of young nobles of the Empire has changed our perception.

We will march onwards to Kraken’s Watch within the fortnight, still within the boundaries of the Pacta that had been agreed upon to regulate this conflict. The war has not been resolved and we find these acts of brutality to be a demonstration of the Carnatian's and Vanir's inability to maintain any sort of peace.

We plead for the foreign forces to lay down their arms, and return to their war-torn, deprived land for if they remain on Courland soil, only blood and steel will be used to remove them for good.

    Signed,

    Richard Staunton, Duke of Courland.

Don't really see how killing a character of yours represents a toxic ooc intention, but w/e.

When you have no rp reason to attack me, and only attack me cos of ooc hate or w/e, there is something wrong.

  5. Whilst I wholeheartedly agree with Taketheshot, as proven by my numerous attempts to convince Veg to stop, you lads (Carnatian guys) need to think upon your rp too. It was only yesterday that I was playing a completely innocent dorf, who helped during a church trial (regarding eating human flesh) and from there you guys surrounded for no apparent rp reason and stabbed me lol. This works both ways, if both parties put aside ooc differences etc and just enjoyed rp I think we'd all have much more fun. Anyway I'm done, +1.

The heir to Courland is Sven Staunton, eldest son of Alexander Staunton.

"I, Sveneld of Vsevolodevich, descendant of Ivan, descendant of Yakov the Accursed, Hetman of the Solnichian Hetmanate, Lord of Godansk, Possessor of Siegmund's Eye, back the claim of Sven Staunton. Let the pretenders burn at the stake."

"Does anyone actually give a **** as to what a illiterate Raevir man has to say?" Asks Thrndis to his fellow Courlanders.

"They want to lead Oren into a Civil War, and initiate a genocide of one of Oren's most populous people, are these people mad, they seem to have the stupidity that the old Salvians from Salvus had." Myakovsky says in disbelief to his comrades, shaking his head.

"Perhaps you haven't seen the Carnatians abducting Courlanders and killing them in the northern mountains, or perhaps you may have missed the slaughter of a garrison of Courlanders at the hands of Carnatians in His Imperial Majesty's city? Or of course you may have missed a Carnatian army invading Courland and attempting to breach the city of Riga, and the abduction of the Duke of Courland? The war was started by these barbarians months ago." A northern man would mutter upon hearing Myaskovsky.

  8. The Grand Opening of Iralis (Brochure)

Casting away the decay of the old, Iralis now stands as a vibrant construct of prosperity and tranquil. This proud jewel of the Duchy of Courland, a free-minded and diverse region, will be the embodiment of Oren’s maritime traditions and commercial successes. With a grand harbor handling the traffic of the sea; Iralis also maintains its various institutions of excellence:

The Courlandic Regiment as an example, prides itself in their ability to reflect the cultural values of Courland’s diverse society in their keeping of law & order.

Capable, respectful and friendly enforces of the law shall patrol the living streets of Iralis, and protect the less fortunate ones in our state of the art Clinic and Orphanage.

For those that seek seclusion from the breathing city of Iralis, the many mountains and forests of Courland are kept in pristine condition by our Hunting and other civil Guilds. Chase the wild, or simply breath in the wonderful landscape that fills your horizon.

With our doors now opened, many taverns and restaurants invite you to embrace the culinary culture of Courland. From the fresh rivers to the thick forests; the wild remains generous in her provision of the finest meats and biggest harvests. Our kitchen knows the recipes of the exotic Visconti, refined Auvergne and the all too familiar Heartlanders. Enter a new world, within a Capital.

To get to the city of Iralis, take the cart to the Duchy of Courland, outside of Felsen. The city will likely be the first thing that you see upon vacating the cart.

((Creds to Draeris for the wrting))

Nexus crafting creates a lot more lag than this, shouldn't it?

Jesus Christ Throdo put your sig's picture in a spoiler.

And yeah it probably does. But if they removed it, the rage from people who grinded to Aengulic would be immense. And rightfully so to be fair.

Think of the people that have bred their way to Illuminated, such as Ioannis and Shreck. They are getting fucked over one update at a time.

Yeah I know. The GMs should either buff horses massively to make up for smaller numbers(ATM they're nerfing horses...) or offer free skill transfers to breeders.

Has anyone else have issues with their horses that are newly breed being terrible? I'm only legendary but all the horse I've been breeding have given me 50 hearts and below... Is this something perhaps because horses are causing lag or a bug on for higher leveled breeders.

P.S. I have almost killed all my horses down to 8, was just simply seeing if I could get better combonations

Yes, our new horses have less than 50 hearts.

  10. Signs would be hung in many major cities, towns, villages and hamlets of Vailor.

    Buying Ferrum Ingots

By order of His Countship, Percival Staunton of Westmark, ferrum ingots are to be bought in bulk.

Any Man, Dwarf, Elf or Uruk willing to sell pieces of ferrum ingots at the fair price of 6 minas, should make contact with George Staunton at Braaburg.

The direwolf of House Staunton would be evident at the bottom of the sign.
