What’s your Minecraft Account Name?: sadko12345
How old are you?: Fifteen years of age.
Have you ever roleplayed on a minecraft server before? If so, where?: A bunch of servers whose names I have ultimately forgotten, and Hollowworld.
Have you applied to this server before?: ..No.
How did you hear about us?: From another server, surfing google.
What do you think the server will be like? - It will probably involve a bunch of interesting, new perspectives. Quite a bit of roleplaying, a bunch of new roles for me to play. New horizonts, trying it out.
Have you read and agreed to the rules?: - Pretty much, I've got the grasp of it and of course I do agree with them.
What’s the rule you agree with the most?: A hard question; there are a plenty of rules I agree with completely. I'm pretty fond of the 'IC at all times' rule. It adds a flavor of uncertainty that you are always vulnerable for an attack from highwaymen or any other malicious scum, you are always there to roleplay and it brings a survivalist theme. Not just '(OOC right now, my character is in a different place)' kind of thing.
Do you understand combat rules, and what you can and can’t do if you do choose to roleplay as a villain?: Yeah.
Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?(If so maybe we can help clear it up! You will not be denied for having a question on the rules): Not really.
Definitions
What is roleplaying?: In the literal sense - Playing a role. Putting yourself in the hide of a completely different person, with different ethics and views of life, different positions, different profession. And you get invested so much into that role that you find yourself fully immense, living through the life of your character, and ultimately feeling their emotions.
What’s metagaming?: Roleplaying something that your character would not know, at all. Like conversing with your mate over skype about the whereabouts of who kidnapped him and where he is held, and then showing up at the place whereas your character would absolutely have no clue about it. Same with the seeing names through walls and then knowing there is a person there. Same with knowing a person's name because you saw their profile on the forums.
What’s powergaming?: During combat roleplay, where you do an action which absolutely gives no chance to the roleplay partner to react, say, cutting their head off where they could technically dodge the strike.
In-Character Information
What’s your character called?: Awgribak'Kurgrinon, although he does shorten his name to Awgri.
What race are they? Orc.
What gender are they?: Male.
How old are they?: - 26 years of age.
Give us a highlight of their past, What life events make your character the person they are today? This is your character's biography.- Born into a small community of orcs in a tranquil valley, Awgribak's family decided to give their child a proper education. Suddenly rethinking their stances after brief talk with travelers hailing from faraway lands, they prepared Awgribak to a life of faith and serenity, to be a monk in an Om'echan monastery.
Unfortunate as it was, the entire village was upon them. First spittle and cursed, it all turned to javelins and rocks. The traveler monks and peacemakers taking refuge in their house, as well as his parents were cut down with no mercy, no last words, no burial. A strong, bloody hand grabbed him. A son of the treacherous ones, he was, but a child. The attackers ignored him, and none dared lift a finger. His uncle took him in, although treating him more of a squire and a servant rather than a nephew, throughout horrid sieges and battles, ambushes and skirmishes, they had grown close. His uncle was a teacher, a friend. He taught him the way of combat and even a bit of tactics.
As Awgribak grew older, his uncle found a small mercenary company, as the tribal wars faded in color and were not as awesome and brutal enough to quench the thirst of combat, blood, death. So they fought for pay until, ultimately, Awgribak's uncle had died with a pike stuck in his gut and the remainder of their comrades fighting for control and the loot, some dying, others breaking off and resorting to banditry. However, Awgribak had a bit more farsight, and is still a sellsword.
What are they like? (personality): Largely a pessimist, and very much an alcoholic, he isn't a person to take joy in peaceful activities, and even a good old joust wouldn't bring him much happiness. The only thing that pleases him most other than combat is the sound of coins in a pouch, or on a palm. He is not a cautious man, and, in fact - A very daring one, also being prone to loving a nice gambling game, with high stakes and gargantuan risks. Overall, he can be called the most normal mercenary.
What are their ambitions?: What drives a soldier for hire? A desire for quick riches. What drives an orc warrior? An undestroyable desire for fight.
Do they have any special skills? What are their weaknesses? - While employing the use of a giant, impossibly cruel war cleaver, he is skilled enough to meet a professional swordsman in battle, and mayhaps win. He is an experienced navigator of bloody, otherwise a tad simple tactics of the orcish clans. He is, once more, a horrible alcoholic, a person who can easily gamble away all his fortunes, and of course, a mortal. He is not gifted with any notable intellect, nor a single redeeming feature, mayhaps not even courage.
Give us a description of how they look?: - Possessing rather plain features, he has sharp cheekbones and eyes the color of hazel, although at first they seem to be an eery hue of crimson. Otherwise, he has a sharp, long nose distantly resembling the beak of a crow. He is tight lipped, and the pox brutally ravaged most of his chin.
