So you better not mess with me or I will leave Aegis like that and not recreate it" In-Character Information Character’s name: Rune Character’s gender: Male Character’s race: Human Character’s age: 25 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): In the early years of his life, Rune's name was Ra'roc (Ray-rock). He lived in the North, although not many know where. It is said that his family had originated in Ancient Oren. He lived with his family: his father, mother, two sisters and his brother. They were however poor. Him and his brother back then were thieves. They’d try to break into houses of men, stealing goods. Before bed, his father would tell him and his siblings stories of the past. Especially about the Great War, the Undead and about Horen I. Ra’roc was interested in history, reason being he liked the stories his father told him about. He never thought he would have lived to see the creatures in his father’s stories. He was wrong. One day, his town was attacked by dwarves. When they barged down the door to go in, Ra’roc’s mother and father was killed, his brother and sisters followed Ra’roc out of the town with stealth. Before letting the village leave his sight, a tear ran down his cheek. Not only was the town destroyed, but so was he. The only thing he got out of the destruction was an amulet with a rune on it; it was given to him by his father for his 7th birthday. “Rune” he said, “Perfect”. He had no plans going back to the town. He was one of the few left out of civilisation. He had nowhere to go. No place to stay. His family was no longer part of the Orenian Empire. He went to Haelun’or to seek help from the Elves. That was one of the best decisions he have ever made. For nearly half his life, he has lived with the Elves. They trained him to be agile, flexible and sharp eyed. He became good with the bow, as wise as his father was and as combat trained as an Uruk Orc. He and his siblings were blademasters when it came to daggers. Despite being a master in combat, when it comes to blunts like clubs, maces and hammers along with long swords – he was doomed to die. It is not because they are heavy, but because they are two handed. Along with that, without the element of stealth, Ra’roc is normally sloppy, being someone who is weak against bulky swordsmen with giant swords, round shields and helmets. When he was 20, he was allowed to go anywhere he wanted. He thanked the Haelun’or Elves for training him for a decade and he started hunting, scouting – that sort of thing. He had his own suit – A dark rogue suit with brown shoulderguards and a brown chestplate with a hood and a mask. He came back to Oren to meet the human race once more, and to start working with them as he did with the elves, however leaving his siblings back at Haelun’or. Personality Traits: - Being raised by elves half his life, Rune – like his siblings – are kind and calm. - Rune doesn't talk a lot when he has targeted someone. Stealth is his main weapon. - Rune is afraid of dwarves – He shivers when in front of them at times and is clumsy with holding things in front of them. - When he is hungry, Rune can stare at food that looks like it tastes good to him, not listening to his surroundings properly until concentration is interrupted. When eating, he may gobble food up as though he haven’t ate in a week. - Rune is honest, being raised by elves half his life. He only tells lies when completely necessary. - Rune likes to adventure. It’s his cup of tea. Ambitions: - To get respect from all races in Aegis. - To travel to another realm, possibly alone. - To own a horse. He likes horses. - To avenge his father and mother, along with his old town. - To meet one of the farfolk. (He has never seen one). - To fight an ogre (Olog Orc) and successfully win. Strengths/Talents: - Rune can duel wield daggers (OOC: Though it is impossible in Minecraft) - Rune is very accurate with the bow when in stealth. - Rune is agile and flexible; parkour is nothing as long as it’s possible. - Stealth is his main weapon. Weaknesses/Inabilities: - When it comes to close quarters combat, he is horrible against heavily armored opponents. - Fails in parkour can lead to injuries. It’s not uncommon. - Olog Orcs are his weakness – they are giants who deal in close quarters combat. - He is horrible at longswords and blunts, not because they are heavy but because they are two handed. - Like all people, he wears out faster when using heavy armour. Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): - Rune stands at 6’2 and is approximately 176lbs. - You probably already know, he wore a dark rogue suit with brown shoulderguards and a brown chestplate complete with a hood and a black mask. His father gave him a rock with a rune on it for his twelfth birthday. He kept it as a pendant around his neck. After eight years, his village was raided by bandits. In that certain period of time between the raid's start and end, most members of his family was killed. Since then, he gave himself the nickname Rune. He took up the role as a thief, stealing things in the houses of men. He loved to sell the items usually stolen unless it was food. He haven't a home, sleeping on the thick branches of trees. Here he is two years later, now going to meet the other races around the realm. Despite being one of the Farfolk, he has unusually lighter skin, and is quite professional with the dagger and bow. Personality Traits: Ambitions: To own a house and own lots of horses. Strengths/Talents: Good in ranged weapons and blades, agile, flexible, stealthy. Weaknesses/Inabilities: Not a good swimmer, not good at blunts and can barely hold heavy objects.
