What magic/s did you learn?: Fire Evocation

Who/how did you learn magic/s?: Coltaine scoured the major cities seeking any information on the art, be it books or practitioners, it was thus that he read various tomes on the subject at The Grand Library of Khalestine, The Library in Celein, and of course, The Library of Dragur. Being a master of the art of geomancy, he believed it would be a relatively simple task to evoke fire. He was shown a demonstration of the magic by and elf by the name of Locke Lamora, also having experienced it and the pain it causes first hand. (Coltaine may have shot first but Asher got his licks in.)

Offer an explanation of said magic/s you learned: Fire evocation, like other evocations is the summoning of fire from the void, the most common form being a fireball, one can make a simple flickering flame as well, your imagination is what limits you in magic use for the most part, it is considered one of the easier evocations to learn, being one of the more widely known. Like any of the other evocations, you cannot have finite control of the element, no making exact, and precise shapes, no fire birds, to preform such feats you would need primordial conjuration. Again, like with the evocations, it does not give you control over the element as it naturally occurs in the world, you may only control the flames you yourself evoke, no one elses. Orange flames are the most common sort you would see, as anything hotter would severely drain and possible kill the mages, such as blue or whitish flames. You must always be careful, because you can be burned by your own flames, you are in no way immune to its heat.

What magic/s did you learn?: This will be for learning the art of Conjuration to be used in conjunction with his other skill.

Who/how did you learn magic/s?: The typical route, Coltaine did read various tomes upon the subject when he was young, and again now, as an old man, he's seen famed conjurer Glacio in action, it was not till recently he again start actively seeking it, read the two books im sure you are aware are in the Library of Dragur, scoured the land for others but couldn't find any, asked various mages if they could speak to him on the subject to no avail, he was then approached by Thurak' Yar (ilikefooddude), a well know shaman, who gave him an in depth explanation of the art along with a general guideline of how it would progress, and where else he might seek help in studying and practicing the art. Gladuos as has said he'd be willing to give me some ooc tips here and there, nothing major.

Offer an explanation of said magic/s you learned: Conjuration is similar to evocation in that, you form what you are trying to create in the void and draw it forth from there, as far as I know there is three different conjuring submagics so to speak, Morphon, which would be beasts, fauna, starting out small such as with ant, spiders, working up to frags, cats dogs, so on and so forth. There is Perennial, which is flora, plants, grass flowers, trees vines leaves. and lastly Elemental Conjuration, which is used in conjunction with an evocation of some kind, like the obviously superior Earth evocation, whereas before in evocation you couldn't evoke definite 'living' forms, no fire birds, or moving statues, with conjuration you can achieve that to a degree, create an elemental, out of an element that can do your bidding. For all these it takes an extreme, and I mean extreme, amount of study, from a simple grass blade to a bear, you need to know everything about what you are conjuring, how it works why it works, why does it do the things it does, why does it look the way it does, you need to study them inside and out, you need to have a complete understanding or you will seriously drain yourself all for not. Its best to keep note and write things down as you study to better remember and make it easier for yourself, As far as magic goes I beleve it one of the more study intensive, you really do need to rp studying those flowers and actually gain an understanding.

As the newly appointed Vandorian Magister I have been tasked with keeping magic 

within our fair kingdom in check.

What magics do you desire to teach?: Earth Evocation

Summarize the Lore of this Magic: Earth Evocation, like all evocations, is the drawing of that element from the void in its various states and or forms, which ever the wielder desires. Like the others, you cant evoke any refined forms, that means no marble statues of Michelangelo's David, no animals of stone, especially none that move like flapping wings or other such nonsense! There is also no evoking of ores, that would be lore breaking, and one cannot evoke mud or quicksand without the aid of another evocation. That being said, you could evoke a slab of stone to say, block a door way, or sand to harass and sting your enemy, its really up to you what you want to do, its magic, go wild, but within reason.

Write up a lesson that your character would give to a student. (Do note, we will be contacting aspiring teachers for a quick interview, to try to better gauge your knowledge and understanding): "Right then, listen here lad/lass! You can use different forms of earth for different tasks. Ya listening? Damned hoodlum show some respect! Anyways, in this instance I will show ya a way to incapacitate a foe without bashing there brains in or breaking any bones ho ho!" at that Coltaine would hold his palm outwards, taking deep evenly spaced breaths. He would furrow his brow, deep in concentration as he focus's on the palm of his hand. A small pin prick would appear, a single grain of sand, quickly growing, as if pouring out of the void itself till there was a good handful. Then with twitch of his wrist he would send the fistful of sand into the prospective students eyes with a mean cackle. (pocket sand!) "Sand! Just as effective as a stone but it leaves the target mostly unharmed. Oh quit your cryin! Aint no better way to learn then to experience it yourself ahaha!" the lesson would conclude at that.
