In-Character Information Character’s name: Alarun Mya'lakir. Character’s gender: Male. Character’s race: High elf. Character’s age: 122. Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Alarun Mya'lakir is the eldest son of the parents of the Mya'lakir family, Fe'nier and Jolenti. The Mya'lakir family is essentially a gypsy family, living in several different places over the course of just a few months, from the western sides Anthos to the eastern sides, and everywhere in between. Because of this odd lifestyle, Alarun had to join several different jobs, such as bard or hunter, to make a steady living, his father, Fe'nier, the father, had to, as well. When he was far more younger, Alarun was caught in the midst of the great war, as was the rest of his family, Sh'nikmi, Alarun's oldest sister, was nearly killed in the action, a spear pierced straight through her arm, she's still alive, but she lost most of her feeling in her arm. They had to get out of there quickly, so they ran as fast and as far as possible. While on a family walk with his parents and Anna, the Mya'lakir's adopted halfling child, the Mya'lakirs accidentally wandered into Oren in the midst of one of the civil war battles. The Mya'lakirs had to get out of there, and quickly, so they did, but Anna had a flashback to her sister's wounding, so she was a little flustered. Due to fact his sister was almost killed, Alarun became a mercenary, hoping to end bloodshed forever, but that wouldn't happen for a long, long time, due to the constant need for power from all the major races, and nobody shall ever forget Iblees' curse he put on them, so Alarun's wish is fairly hollow. What is metagaming?: Using knowledge you know that your character does not know to your advantage, like knowing of a secret orcish entrance into a base on one account then using that knowledge in another one. What is powergaming?: Greatly exaggerating your abilities and strengths in order to intimidate your enemies or peers. Character’s name: Alarun Mya'lakir. Character’s gender: Male. Character’s race: High elf. Character’s age: 19. Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Alarun Mya'lakir is the eldest son and second born of Fe'nier and Jolenti Mya'lakir, father and mother, respectively. Him being a high elf, he was introduced to alchemy at age ten, and he took to it remarkably quickly, for his age. When he was only 15, he was on a walk with his family and accidentally wandered into Oren, in the midst of the civil war, they had to get out of there and they did, however, their adopted halfling daughter, Anna, was shot and killed by an archer, thought to be a human child. While running away, the remaining Mya'lakirs were ambushed by a group of orcish bandits. Sh'nikmi, the eldest daughter, attempted to fight back, but failed as she was killed by an orc with a cutlass he had stolen from a dwarf who was walking the same path a week beforehand. Alarun is still devastated to this day by the attack, but he does not let the remorse get in the way of his alchemical workings. He vowed to learn who the hellions were who killed Sh'nikmi and Anna, so Alarun became a mercenary, making sure the same thing does not happen to anyone else. He learned to create a homonculus at age 17, after he attempted to create gold from a piece of hide, but it came to life. He named the creature Sil, the elvish word for sword, because he wanted it to be brave and protect him. However, the fun did not last long, about 5 hours later, Sil bumped into a wall and sent a vial of elvish acid crashing down onto it's head, the acid ultimately killed it. That was just the beginning, though, Alarun's life is likely full of new experiences and surprises for him. Personality Traits: Charismatic, humble and slightly quirky. Ambitions: He is constantly looking to learn two things; how to create a philosopher's stone and learning who killed his sisters. Strengths/Talents: Can make several potions at a time and is stealthy in combat and looting. Weaknesses/Inabilities: Not very good at bow combat.
