  1. Road RP was usually "Halt!" anyway. Nobody enjoyed it. Besides, cities have roads, road rp there?

To be honest, yes this did happen a lot on Athera on the main road as it was the only travel route. If fast travel wasn't a thing "Halt!" and then pvp default would still exist but not to the same degree with all the roads and the distance of nations. As for roads in cities, the cities aren't really big enough but just because these roads don't exist doesn't mean the roleplay won't still commece. The points prior to this of long distance and the amount of food needed and even the boredom that would ensue are enough reason not to get rid of fast travel.

  2. The only thing I could see would be helpful would be placing a timer on AND making people pay a bit of minas for them (like 15-25 minas). 15-25 minas isn't much, but it's at least enough for people to not go around everywhere... but then that's one of the purposes of the fast travels, finding out where the players are at.

Another thing we could just do is say that fast travels aren't allowed to be used by someone raiding or attacking a town, which is almost impossible to enforce. Actually it isn't all that hard considering you could just make a player receive a "You have travelled to X" everytime someone takes on a fast travel, in a way that it could be seen by chat logs for GMs to see.

Either way, ideas to fix it from me are:

    • Time - having fast travels only work every 5 mins or so.
    • Money - having people have to pay to use fast travels
    • No using for raids/attacks - by enforcing with a message received when using a fast travel that GMs can log to see.

I agree with most of this, a timer is, in my opinion, a very good idea to stop people from suddenly being in the human capital, to CT and then to the wood elves. Not being able to use it in a raid is a very good idea and would likely, if Jist hadn't pointed it out, have had to been fixed in the future after people abused it for this reason. The only part I disagree on you with is the money. I for one rarely get minas for doing a job and neither do most people so I have to turn to voting for this, not only does voting take away rp time from when I want to roleplay and is also tedious to do but with the new voting system it is now not guaranteed to supply you with the minas necessary of these fines.

  3. I just feel this wouldn't work for many reasons. As people have said, it splits the playerbase which is not a good idea. Also how would this work with history for instance. If my character was in the future and wanted to read up on medieval history how would he do so if the history was only just being rped on the other server? Also a future where there is no melee combat and only advanced weapons and technology would make for very quick rp as a shot from a gun is going to kill anyone straight out, also a vast majority of some people's rp is in fact sword fighting so you've already lost some rp.

  4. I would be careful if I was you. For one you are a new player and may not (I could be wrong) necessarily be the best rper. Alongside this starting out being in a high position of command within a group on a server you won't have much experience on is risky, this is not to say that you can't or are not allowed to do it, I'm just saying be careful and rethink this especially if this is to be an organisation set on crime. That will drag a lot of attention to you and a much larger group may see fit to lay this to waste rather early on. Don't let me stop you though, hope it works out.

  5. I have to say, when I have rped with you (even if you did try to get me killed), I enjoyed it and found it to be an enjoyable experience. You've never really trolled ic or OOC with me personally so no problems there. It is your OOC attitude that I am worried about, I have seen on countless occasions you get slightly too worked up or agitated over even the smallest joke or poor rp. A GM should be able to stay calm in these situations and defuse them. I am not +1 this nor -1 it, I am simply saying take this into consideration. You may be worse off in the position of a GM.

  6. Wait, you say you want to remove fast travel all together (even though there has been a post about and people said keep it) for it would increase rp and it doesn't make rp sense. However you said you want to add more soul stone slots because many people don't like travelling. Is that not very contradictory that you want to remove a form of quick travel even though you yourself admit people don't like long treks. Also everyone having horses, poor or rich, is not realistic either.

Apart from this, I have heard very poor things about you in great detail. I have also seen the ban report you have made, in regards to that a GM would never make such a thing over that issue. You have a very poor reputation indeed. -1

  7. So many problems with lockpicking. Someone works or grinds all day for certain materials or does a long event line and gets an item for it and next thing someone can steal it. That would lead to a lot of arguing and crying. Also people lock their chests for a reason and those that don't get stuff stolen, one of the main reasons why people donate useless.
