Hosted my first event which turned out amazingly! Everyone had a good time and it started a little player-event-line thingy I'll be working on. We had about 15+ people show up!

The Case of the Mysterious Missing Posters

Birds chirp through-out the evening, quickly disrupted by the conversations of the angry-mob of people assembled at the bridge. The conversation would be heated, with a variety of races ranging from humans who are armed with swords and shields to Uruks armed with pitchforks. While these races have their differences, there is one thingy they all share: Their hate for Aeglos.

The clanking of heavy-armor echoes through-out the evening, heard from miles away. The townspeople close their windows and shoo their children into bed, well aware of what the noise is coming from.

While the clanking noise is present, there is no sight of Aeglos. There's still hope for the townspeople, though. Aeglos seems to be dropping posters left-and-right, creating a not-so-clever trail leading to where he seems to be going: Petrus.

The clanking noise seems to be gaining speed, as if Aeglos is running now to Petrus, the trail of posters 'following him'. The posters lead directly to the city.

It is then you hear a voice echo throughout the surrounding lands, "DESCENDANTS!"

It is then that Aeglos would be seen standing in the church at Petrus, at the top of the tower screaming down from it. The townspeople begin to assemble around the church, arguing over how a being that foul and corrupted as Aeglos could ever be permitted within the house of worship of the Creator himself.

It is at that time, when the remaining posters fly down from the Heavens onto the townspeople, shielding their eyes of Aeglos.

Should the townspeople storm the church or attempt to decipher why Aeglos is here?

I never saw that stated anywhere. Before I chose a blob, I asked a GM to make sure. Not only that, but it is stated on the lore list that these are playable creatures. Edit: I wasn't told either to contact you when talking to the mod, aswell.

Now, I know blobs are made up of multiple different organisms but . . .

Blobs are more intelligent than oozes, so I was wondering if blobs can learn magic?

Dr_Dovahkiin made the lore before he was banned, there were multiple blobs allowed.

He took a picture of me on my blob, then stated I "refuse to die". As a blob, I kind of split-up (partially) when I get attacked by a blade . . . Not really trying to "refuse" my death.

1) I do not power-game, in a non-roll RP-combat I literally ALWAYS take the hit/attack, I suppose I 'powergame' by refusing to die?

• What do you believe are key factors for a successful event? The player-base ALWAYS needs to be incorporated for a good event. With that being said, the player-base must be engaging.

• When was the last time you saw a event? A few days ago when the meteors struck Petrus. I had a fun time at the event, I was even able to take home some eggs from the meteor!

• What strengths could you contribute to the Event Team? Are you knowledgeable in lore or great at organizing? I'm a pretty good story-teller. I've written numerous stories/books (in progress) that have been regarded as being quite good. I even had one, that when finished, was going to be sent to an editor and later on a publisher. After searching endlessly, your knights find Christopher injured and bleeding. Christopher pleads with his brothers to leave. You take the look-out as your knights tend to Christopher, your back turned. A scream emerges from behind, you turn to see your knights ambushed by strange-creatures. You unsheathe your blade, charging at the creatures to aid your fellow brothers.

  • 3) For a group of 20+: You and your mercenary-guild comrades stumble upon a small, dark haven fit for a hermit while trotting to your next endeavor. This 'shrine' appears to have a strange, cryptic writing upon the stone-walls. At the center of this oddly-desolate room stands a large piece of stone, an object oddly-placed into the stone. After lighting a torch, you find that the object is sword. Who in your company of men will attempt to pull the sword from the stone?
