I, Gregor Gaius Horen, denounce the Lost Emperor, John V Frederick. He has abandoned his people in a time of War that he has perfected through his years of destroying any ties to Kingdoms of afar. He has denounced GOD and his Ancestors, ridding himself of any claims to the true line of succession of House Horen. He is a cruel imposter  who has been born through the acts of incest of  his suicidal father.

John V Frederick is gone. He shall not return to the Empire of Oren.

John V Frederick, the Child of Incest, has declared war against the True Descendants of Horen, Malin, Urguan, and Krug. He has betrayed his true brothers for those of the undead.

"Are you sure about that?" Offered one Pepin de Bar as he read over the missive.

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature: In the spirit of brevity, an Atronach is an Arcane construction which hinges around a core imbued with an element of the artificer’s choice. Ultimately an Atronach’s figure varies contingent upon the aforesaid element that they are evoked of; in the most prevailing sense, however, an Atronach’s form is comprised of several steel plates which bind the construct together. Being forged of the Arcane, Atronachs are capable of wielding martiality of both corporeal and magical nature. Fundamentally, an Atronach derives its power from its enchanted core - not through the conventional means of magical connection via the void - which serves as being quintessential in its animation; without a core, an Atronach cannot function and is rendered inoperative. Then too, heavy damage to a familiar’s plates or their destruction in its entirety will cause their element to wreak havoc in the immediate region and potentially harm those around it. Moreover, an Atronach is, in a sense, tethered to its creator and thereby bound to the will of its master, as well as prone to bouts of incapacitation through the draining of the mana in their core. Arcane familiars are irrevocably susceptible to both Fi magic and warding - both of resulting in the dispersion of the familiar. In terms of cognition, an Atronach’s intelligence burgeons through experience - much like that of a customary descendant’s.

  5. Hey - I'm going to have to bring into question the validity of your CB here and how you would go about sieging the capital of Metz upon theoretically winning one skirmish, among other things. If a skype chat could be setup with a mod and the respective NLs it'd be appreciated.

  6. A MISSIVE TO ODO D’AMAURY

    Spoiler

“But my golden fields! My golden fields of wheat!”

Revolving prism-like mind tore from the letter afore him and sought solace in a nearby expanse of rolling amber - the golden fields of his family’s history. Steel of his quill plunged thrice in hot, pitch ink - tip set to parchment. Reply was short to arrive thereafter, heralded by steam shed from swift destriers in sweltering summer air.

A letter, closed and clad with d’Amaury heraldry - penned by the thoughtful hand of one young King Hughes.

    My beloved cousin and compatriot,

Pray, forgive the brash manner of entrance into mine own hall; history has dictated that in matters such as this men are not unlikely to find themselves in a den of jackals upon their return - hot, eager tongues yearning to be slaked by blood wrought out of pitiless ambition. Wrong was I, indeed, in this illation. Quite on the contrary, you have proven yourself possessive of naught but pure intent - why, what a kinsman is this, whom in times of tumult pursues benevolence in the face of stark adversity!

I seek not to set the beating heart of this realm afire, nay, for such is the gravest crime a righteous man aneath the Creator’s Seven may commit. We as proud sons of man are charged by God-given providence to uphold the antiquity of our fatherland and to - within the utmost capacity of our mortal being - foster its futurity.

Thus it is that I shall so tirelessly seek solidarity in this noble hegemony, both in rapture and repose. Await my arrival to Ostwick; for, whatever the weather, I would let darting wind be slow to my hasting. Glory to humanity and glory to this God-given Kingdom.

    Signed,

HIS ROYAL MAJESTY, Hughes I Pierre d’Amaury, King of Lotharingia, Prince of Savoy and Metz, Archduke of Lorraine, Margrave of Kaedrin, Count of Amaury, Lord of the Goldfields, Defender of the Heartlanders and Warden of the South
