How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? Word of mouth, a friend said it might be a good place to do Minecraft RP on. What is roleplaying?: Playing the role of a character or person other than yourself, and staying in character. Taking on their traits and fully immersing yourself. What is metagaming?: Using out-of-character information in-character, usually to your advantage. Like, knowing OOCly that somebody who hides their elven features is an elf and then acting like you know this in character. What is powergaming?: Forcing your actions upon another player without letting them really react. One-emote kills, capturing somebody without any actual attempt. In-Character Information Character’s name: Liewyn Asul’leyu Character’s gender: Female Character’s race: High Elf Character’s age: 79 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Liewyn was born in Lin’evral to two modest and conservative parents. Growing up with no siblings thanks to the elven curse of infertility, she led a rather boring youth, and did nothing entirely out of the ordinary: ink-inscribed parchment, a lit candle, and a quill were her companions as she grew up, but she never complained. She, after all, knew nothing else and was perfectly content to read and write. For years she kept a docile and simple lifestyle, taking a keen interest in historical accounts and political writings, with a bit of literature on the arcane occasionally. When disaster struck Lin’evral, she left with her parents. Eventually the mali’aheral would find themselves in a new city, but Liewyn decided she would spend some time on her own. She purchased a home in the wilderness and dedicated her time to honing her own writing skills. A couple years passed, and Liewyn had gotten quite used to her rural lifestyle. Unfortunately, she had to leave her forest home behind when the ships set out for Thales. She went along with the rest of the world, and found a similar home in the new land, spending even more time at her desk with her books and quill. History repeated itself, and she moved on to Athera, continuing her reclusive lifestyle. She became enraptured in poetry and fiction, fancying herself quite the storyteller. Her favorite things to write were poems and epics about historical figures like Urir Ireheart, Nelecar, and plenty of other notable names. She finally decided enough was enough and that she was ready to move on with her life. Hearing that there was relative peace among the mali'aheral once more after their years in exile, she wanted to rejoin her kind as a pure high elf. Packing her things, she set out for Haelun’or, down the road. Personality Traits: Liewyn has a cheery outlook on life, and gives off a radiance of positivity. She has a strong sense of humor, and laughs quite often. She, however, often has trouble expressing her true thoughts or feelings about a situation and usually keeps such things to herself. Ambitions: Liewyn desires a lifestyle she can settle herself into, and rely upon. She wants normativity and routine. Strengths/Talents: Liewyn has an active imagination and an eloquence in her speech, prose, and poetry. With a long vocabulary, she’s well-equipped to write many things and upon many different subjects. Weaknesses/Inabilities: Liewyn has a rather slight stature and isn’t particularly built for much physical labor. She is a poor liar and is usually self-conscious about her own work, shy to show it to others or share it. She also become incredibly nervous around people she admires. She has a round face and thin lips which seem to always be tilted upward in a gentle smile. She has blonde hair and green eyes.
