Out-Of-Character Information Please do your best to correct spelling and grammatical errors, this is an RP server and writing is the main form of communication! What’s your Minecraft account name?: Roxas568 What timezone are you in?: Central How old are you?: 16 Are you aware the content and interactions on this server may not be appropriate for children under the age of 13? (You won’t be denied for being under 13): Yes, I am aware. Have you read and agreed to the rules?: I have read and agree with the rules. What’s the rule you agree with the most?: Out of the rules observed, I would have to say that the first rule in “Community conduct” seems the most appealing to me personally. I feel that everybody is entitled to a pleasant RP experience and that nobody should be harassed. Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense? (if so we can help clear it up!): No How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: I previously had another persona for LOTC that was whitelisted several years ago. However, my lack of RP experience left me a bit overwhelmed. I’ve had a bit of RP experience now which I hope will make my time on the server more enjoyable. I may still need a little help though. I’m also not entirely sure if a new application is necessary, but hey, it’s all good. It’s a good way to organize my thoughts on my new persona if nothing else. Link(s) to past Whitelist Applications (If applicable): https://www.lordofthecraft.net/forums/topic/123547-%E2%9C%94-accepted-pending-roxas568-server-application/#comment-1188732 Have you logged into the server yet? (You cannot be whitelisted without logging in at least once): I have logged in to the server Definitions Feel free to Google the answers or browse our forums, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person! Plagiarizing will result in the automatic denial of your application! What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is basically taking the role of and performing actions as a character. What is metagaming?: Metagaming involves using information received OOC without gaining the information through RP first. (Using information that I, the player, know but my character shouldn’t) What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Powergaming is forcing RP actions upon others. An example would be me saying “I swing my sword at Rolf, killing him instantly”. Rolf needs to be able to react. In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play. Character’s name: (what do you want your character to be called?) Varvor Rig Character’s sex: (male or female?) Male Character’s race: (you can find all the playable races here.) Human; Heartlander Character’s age: (upon application, your character must be 18 or older, and depending on the race, they can be over five hundred years old!) 25 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.) Varvor Rig was born in the year 1590. He was born to Reimar and Janiya Rig in the city of Savinia. Varvor was the middle child. He had an older brother named Hardi and a younger sister named Hilaire. Varvor’s father was a well to do merchant while his mother mostly worked around the house. At the age of seven, Varvor’s father began training him in the usage of the sword with the help of his older brother. After years of being beaten by his elders in combat training, at the age of fifteen, he had finally grown adept enough to match his brother’s skill. The year was now 1605. Varvor’s father, noting their progress, realized they had a certain amount of skill when it came to the art of the sword. He did not know just how far this skill could take them. Varvor’s father made the decision to send them to the recently constructed capital city of Aleksandria to continue their training. Varvor, however, had dreams of his own. Varvor had seen the mages using their spells to create wonders. They would move things with their minds, turn one thing into another. They would create life from stone and wood to do their bidding. Varvor was fascinated with the use of magic and greatly desired to learn. His father, however, had always been highly distrustful of mages. He called their magic “frivolous” and “irresponsible”. He claimed that drawing energy from the void was madness. Varvor could not ask him to help find a teacher, but Varvor had no idea where to begin looking. Upon arriving in Aleksandria, Varvor and Hardi were swiftly greeted by a courier who brought them to their new teacher. The man was a former guard captain in Aleksandria and was a highly respected member of the community. His name was Glizel Dadz. Their training began immediately and consisted of cleaning, hauling firewood, cooking, and anything else Dadz didn’t feel like doing. The work was not without purpose. The more physical of their chores made them stronger. The tasks soon became too simple. It was at this point that their real training began. Dadz was far more adept with the sword than their father had ever been. They learned faster, newer, better techniques. Their new physical exercise consisted of a daily brutal routine to work every muscle to exhaustion. The program was as close to perfection as one could get. However, Varvor’s mind still lingered on the new world magic had to offer. His mind began to drift, and his progress slowed. Dadz noticed this and began working him even harder. The training became brutal beyond compare. Dadz would have Varvor fight without a weapon against Hardi in order to “build his resilience”. Varvor eventually became able to disarm his brother. Dadz began to send in two students to fight him. Varvor could eventually handle this too. Disarm one, knock him out, fight the other. Dadz began to send in three students at once. This was Varvor’s breaking point. All he could accomplish was being beaten to near death every day. Dadz approached Varvor one night after training. They discussed Varvor’s progress. Dadz by no means hated Varvor. He was proud. However, he knew something was still troubling the now twenty year old man. They talked of Varvor’s aspirations. Dadz was much more understanding than Varvor’s father had been. Dadz had no knowledge of magic himself, but he was reassuring to Varvor. Dadz reminded him that he only had five more years until his training was complete. Varvor would then be able to do as he pleased. Varvor acknowledged this and started devoting himself, heart and soul, to his training. Eventually, it was all over. Hardi had moved on to become a guard for the Aleksandria. Varvor was ready to go though. He said goodbye to his brother and Dadz. and left Aleksandria in 1615. A few months later, the kingdom he grew up in would dissolve to form the Principality of Evreux. Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Varvor is pretty talkative once he gets to know somebody. His father a merchant, Varvor inherited his charisma. Years of training, however, have left Varvor on edge. He’s always preparing for danger, whether real or not. His allies will come to know him as a kind young man who is slightly paranoid. Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) Varvor has become extremely skillful in the art of the sword. However, he has a passion for learning about magic. He aspires to find someone to teach him to be a skilled mage as well as a warrior. Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Years of combat training have left Varvor extremely skilled with a sword. He knows a lot about fighting as well as weapon repair. Varvor’s father taught him how to talk to people. He is extremely charming. His father also taught Varvor and his siblings how to read at an early age as he expected them all to be properly educated. Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Varvor can be slightly paranoid when it comes to new people. The bigger the group, the worse he feels about them. Although he’ll warm up to anybody over time, he’s always on edge. It’s difficult to anger Varvor, but when he does get angry, he’s enraged. Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) Varvor is six feet tall. He has brown hair and dark green eyes. When he left Aleksandria, he brought only the clothes on his back along with a coat Dadz had given him. The green in the coat is the same shade as that of Courland’s crest. Skin: (please provide us a screenshot of your character’s skin; if you need help, see our screenshot guide here.)

Out-Of-Character Information Please do your best to correct spelling and grammatical errors, this is an RP server and writing is the main form of communication! What’s your Minecraft Account Name?: Roxas568 How old are you?: 14 Are you aware the server is PG-13 (You won’t be denied for being under 13): I wan't aware of this before now. Have you applied to this server before? (Please link all past applications): No, I haven't. Have you read and agreed to the rules?: Yes, I have. What’s the rule you agree with the most?: I suppose I agree most with the rule that prohibits discrimination and prejudice. Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense?(If so we can help clear it up! You will not be denied for having a question on the rules): No, I believe I understand all the rules very well. How did you find out about Lord of the Craft? My brother told me the server looked fun. I agreed with him. Definitions Feel free to Google the answers or browse our forums, but make sure that you write the reply in your own words, not those of another website or person! What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is when you take the role of a character and control his or her life. You can develop your character further as you continue to play the game. What is metagaming?: Metagaming occurs when a person uses information they receive outside of the game in the game. An example would be if I received word of an impending attack from my friend in real life and informed everyone in the game. What is powergaming?: There are several definitions to powergaming. The one I believe applies most is not allowing a person to react to your actions in game. An example would be if I said "I punched him in the face". This gives him no chance to react. "I attempt to punch him in the face" would be more acceptable. In-Character Information Character’s name: Zaman Thurkson Character’s gender: Male Character’s race: Human; Highlander Character’s age: 22 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Zaman was born outside of Oren in a village inhabited by other humans. From an early age, he was taught to fight and make his own weapons by his father, Arman. Although he was not a heartlander, he was well-educated and had a unique aptitude for learning about ancient history. Zaman always liked the stories where the Wandering Wizard was involved. His favorite thing to read was a text by the Wandering Wizard detailing Iblees and the four brothers, Horen, Malin, Urguon, and Krug. His parents would not tolerate a lack of education. He wanted only to have a family of his own and live exactly as his father had before him. However, when he turned thirteen years of age, he was stricken with an unknown disease with no known cure. The disease did not appear to be contagious, but it did seem to be fatal. As time went on, people began to lose their faith in the boy's survival. Even his father, carrying a little candle of hope, watched it flicker and burn out over time. It was no longer "if the boy dies". It was "when the boy dies". Zaman continued to fight a constant battle for his survival. This battle continued for five years. One day, he did what nobody though he could. He fought off the disease. He was still, however, very weak. His timing was perfect though as the village was being attacked. Zaman didn't know who the attackers were, but he thought it was a different village they had been fighting with for several years. He knew if he were found in his current condition, he would easily be slain. Zaman managed to roll off and under his bed. As soon as he got into a comfortable position, the sound of footsteps filled his ears. He stayed completely still and tried to breathe as quietly as possible. Zaman eventually had a bit of irrational fear worm its way into his head. He remembered learning about Iblees and his use of the undead when he attempted to take Aegis. The fear made him think perhaps it was happening again, right here in Athera. He saw feet pass the bed as the attacker began to look for anything and everything useful. Zaman could see him reasonably well and recognized him from under the bed. His name was Neil. Zaman actually felt relieved. He had thought it was the undead for a minute. He remained still, and his mind began to race with plans for escape. The only thing he could think to do was pray, so he prayed to God that this man would not look under the bed. I don't know if his prayers were answered or if it was a happy coincidence, but the attacker did not look under the bed. Zaman rolled out and began his attempt to make it to his house. As Zaman moved quietly through the night, he eventually made it to his house. He went inside and called softly to his parents. He heard nothing in return. He searched every room in his house except for his own and found no trace of his parents. To him, this was a good thing because it meant it was possible that his parents had already left and escaped the village. He finally made his way into his room. Inside, he found a note on top of his favorite outfit (a brown and green ensemble). He put the outfit in a pack in his room and then read the note. The note read as follows: "Zaman, I know that your father has given up on you, but I never will. I know you'll beat the odds and come back to us. If you ever make it back to this house, just know that we do love you. I hope that our paths will cross and we'll be a family again. -Mom P.S. That outfit might be a little small on you now." This note brought Zaman close to tears. Zaman took anything he deemed valuable and necessary and made his way out of the village. Before he left the building, however, he found several letters in his parents' room. He took those as well. Once he made it far enough away from the village, he began to assess the situation. His mother was right about the outfit no longer fitting. He realized he must have grown several inches since the last time he checked. He decided he would have to have the outfit refitted later. He heard voices which sounded like Orcs from further in the woods, and, fear taking him, he ran away. He didn't understand quite what had happened until he found someone and asked him for information regarding the attack. The rival village had attacked them, but there was more to it than that. The man said that the attackers were worshipping Iblees like Zaman would God. Zaman felt sick after hearing this. By this time, Oren had already split due to the rebellion. Zaman went straight to Renatus, and the first thing he did was have the outfit refitted. He put it on, and rarely took it off after this. He had a lot of his old weapons he had created when he was younger. They still seemed to be perfectly fitted for his body, so he continued to use them. After this, Zaman left Renatus and found a group of both humans and wood elves he survived with until he was twenty-one. Around when he turned twenty-one, recent deaths were driving the group apart. There were fights breaking out between the different races. Some fights broke out by those of the same race, but those were less frequent. Many of the fights seemed to have started because of racism toward each other. He knew they weren't really like that. He knew they were just depressed over losing some of their own to the undead. They were good people. This was when he decided it was time for him to wander on his own for a while. After this decision, he used his skills in survival to stay alive. Zaman wandered throughout Athera, never staying at the same place twice. The reason behind this was that he wanted to find a new group to live with. Eventually he found a group with a weak leader. Zaman was a natural leader, so he took over with no real problems and rarely ever led the group astray. Eventually, the arrival of one with similar leadership qualities caused a ripple in the group. Some wanted Zaman to remain leader. Others wanted him to step down. Zaman eventually lost all control of the group and left. He was saddened to later hear that his group had taken refuge in a bandit's lair, and they were all dead. The lair was on a route he was going to have the group avoid. He received this news on his twenty-second birthday. This was the worst news he'd received in a long time, and he continued alone from then on. It took Zaman many years, but he began reading some letters he had found in his house. It turned out his uncle had been a large part of the rebellion in Oren before it was split up. He wondered if perhaps this had something to do with the attack on his village. He didn't think the odds of that were too high, however. It was most likely just a random attack from a rival village. Maybe he was wrong about that, however. What if Neil just led the people to the village? What if this attack was planned as revenge? As thoughts swirled through his brain and paranoia set in, he couldn't stop thinking about the possibilities. He began to read more and more letters. Most of them were from his uncle who was having the same thoughts as him. The only thing Zaman couldn't figure out was what group would have attacked them in retaliation? There was no way for him to ever know who did this. He knew he would have to accept it and move on. Neil had died since the attack, and he knew nobody else involved. It was over. (Sorry the bio. was more than two paragraphs long. I wanted my whole story to be there.) Personality Traits: Kind; Charismatic; Occasionally reserved Ambitions: Zaman wants to start a family far from all the world's evil; he also wants to bring a group to share that place with. Strengths/Talents: Intelligent; strong; Natural leader Weaknesses/Inabilities: Zaman cannot fight with a bow. Zaman also has a sleight fear of the undead. Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): Zaman's height is 6'0. Zaman weighs 155 pounds. Zaman has long blonde hair and green eyes. You can rarely ever see him not wearing his brown and green outfit. Appearance, please provide us a screenshot of your character’s skin (If you need help, see our screenshot guide here): https://imageshack.com/i/exDKUY44p
