An elf of particularly ginger hair peered over the High Princess's shoulder at the invitation received. A digit extended to point at the name of their now decimated capital.

Please, Llir. I'm chronically online and addicted to LotC............ You can't just do this to us. I can only play so many Overwatch games while I wait for map change before I lose it.

An old soul returned amongst the Prince and his armies, features somber as he processed what the fall of Karosgrad really meant, not only for Haenseni folk, but his own a like. He would return to the district laid out for Elvenesse with his mind laden with thoughts of what was to come.

What magic(s) will you be teaching?
Malchediael's Radiant Templars
Describe this magic or a creature as a whole:
The magic is a blessing from the Aengul of Courage, Malchediael. It serves to enhance and add flavor to those who wish to do quest RP involving combat and beyond. Those blessed by the Aengul of Courage find themselves to actively seek out challenges, to face them head on, and to display outward courage. Just as their patron, they hold honor and valor in the highest regards and rarely stand down from an opportunity for glory. Within themselves, they find a newly ingrained sense of courage. This courage is the primary source of their drive to commit themselves to various trials, though this does not make them foolish and blind to unnecessary risk. When one backs down from something such a duel or some other such challenge they, like perhaps many others, will feel a sense of failure. Unlike others, though, they feel compelled to take on a quest of redemption.
These changes to personality are not the only thing His blessing does, it also provide the templar with various tools to aid them both in and out of combat. For example, their story telling can be accompanied by nearby flames flickering and dancing into shapes and figures matching the verbal stories that a templar might recount around a bonfire, perhaps a bonfire blessed by Saint Michael. These bonfires have minor healing effects on the templars around it, mending small cuts and non-critical injuries for example. Furthermore they might cause an unease amongst Dark CAs, though not to an extent that it reveals them.
Combatively, templars have a few tools to bring out as mentioned before. They can call forth a blinding light twice per combat situation that causes nearby (within ten meters) beings to be briefly blinded and deafened to a small degree, as well as pulling invisible beings out into sight. It has a tertiary utility in it's ability to force away hazes brought about by way of dark magic. Defensively they can prepare themselves to take a powerful blow by way of the Bulwark spell. It's capable of negating the concussive effects of an attack even from mighty ologs and golems.
This isn't everything offered up to a Templar by their blessing but they're a few examples of the way they can enhance a character who participates in questing. It's a way to spice up the old formula of the wandering knight or typical adventurer.
Are there different sections or subsections of magic? Can those be elaborated upon?
There are no subsections, just the primary magic.
Can you give an example of a casting emote, of a spell of your choice?
Emote example for Burst Body, followed by a short LOOC description to avoid confusion:
*Aurelion would take a moment to close his eyes, focusing on the courage within his psyche. He braced himself for the power of his patron to channel itself through his body. Machediael's light began to well within him and up to his raised, closed fist.*
*After the moment of build-up, Aurelion would open his hand, palm up towards the heavens. The built up light burst out while he kept his gaze away from the blinding blast. All those who possessed eyesight within ten meters and failed to look away at the moment it was loosed would find themselves blinded for one emote and visually impaired for one more after as their vision recovers. A volume of nearby deadbreath within the blast would find itself expulsed from this plane.*
[LOOC] Everyone with exception to seers, the blind, or anyone who turned away from the light are blinded for one emote and visually impaired with blurred and recovering vision for a second emote. Dark magical hazes within the radius are also expulsed and any invisible individuals within are additionally brought out of hiding.
Can you give an example of a teaching-emote (interacting with another) of a spell of your choice?
Example teaching emotes for the spell Bound Armament:
"The weapon you first draw in combat becomes bound to you, in that you can call it back to your hand, with certain limitations. Malchediael grants us this so that we might always be ready to face the enemies before us. Furthermore, you weapon will take on similar properties to aurum, leaving darkspawn in searing pain when struck with it." *Aurelion began to explain the basis of the blessing granted to them.* "Draw your blade and toss it aside. Focus on it, will it back to your hand. You'll see it at first begin to rattle and tug towards you before it finally flies back to your hand."
*As the student followed his instruction, finding success, he'd begin again.*
"Once more! This time bury your blade into the sand and do it again." *He ordered the warrior under his tutelage, gesturing to the sand laden sparing pit they stood within.* "You'll find it more difficult, taking more focus and time. Feel the blade, within your hand, focus on it again. Will it back to your hand and notice the added time and effort it takes to free itself before it finally flies again into your awaiting hand."Say your student powergames during or after teaching, how do you reprimand that?
If a student of mine powergames, for a first offense in a singular spell it might just be a misunderstanding. It's simple enough to fix by taking them aside in msgs or in a discord chat to let them know that they're using the spell in problematic way. Say they powergame with Burst Body for example, and they use it to hunt down and reveal ghosts that they otherwise have no inclination to knowing they're in the area. They're simply using it to hunt them down, house by house and area by area. I would let them know that this isn't a suitable use for the spell and instead they should only use it if there is an objective reason to be suspicious of a ghost in the area, reminding them of the redlines of the spell. For example, they should only use it to reveal a ghost if the signs are there, objects are moving without a visible source of force for example.
People do make mistakes or forget redlines when they're learning a new magic. They're not familiar with it and they haven't internalized everything yet, so sometimes it's necessary to pull them aside and remind them of the correct and fair way to use the magic. To remind them of how to use the magic in a lore-abiding way. If it's continued to be abused and misused then it's something to take up with the appropriate Story Team members and potentially discuss dropping them as a student and user of the magic.
