How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: The truth be told, I don't remember. I signed up 2 years ago, and a had a character. Since then however, I was inactive for a long time.
Link(s) to past Whitelist Applications (If applicable): I can't find it anymore. It was most likely deleted when the forums updated. My character's name was Torchell. However I won't be using him anymore(besides, since I don't have an application for this character anymore, I am most likely not allowed to use him anyways).

What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is when you play as a certain character, and remain in his mindset throughout the roleplay process.
What is metagaming?: When you use information, that cannot be available to your character for your own advantage.
What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: It is when you force your actions onto another player. For example saying "I slashed him with my sword, and killed him in one hit".

Thalia was born in Haelun'or, the Silver State of the High Elves at the Isles of Vailor. She was the only child in the family, which is completely normal for Elves, considering their low fertility. Her parents were High Elves, who took proud in their culture and their race. They despised anyone who is "impure" or not a high elf.
From the very start, Thalia was different than the other elves. Most Elves do not care about other races, but Thalia was always interested in them. Even as a kid, she loved running away from the City to play with human and orc kids. She sneaked out in secret, because she knew how much her parents despise communicating with other races.
And so, Thalia kept living like that. Every Sunday she'd sneak out to play with her friends, and at workdays she'd learn more about Elvish culture, as well as how to behave as a high elf. But even though she was greatly interested in the Elvish culture, she was always bad at keeping a proud "elvish" composure. More than that, she was very interested in other cultures, such as orcs or dwarves. Her parents were very dissapointed by that fact.
One Sunday, Thalia sneaked out of the City once again. She started playing with her friends, and then noticed that her father followed her. She was busted. He took Thalia away from the other human and orcish kids, and as they were leaving,he gave them a disdainful proud glance. And right before these kids, he made Thalia promise that she will never speak with these "impure scum". Thalia was heartbroken.
After this event, a lot has changed. Thalia and her parents often got into fights and arguments. She despised the "racist" part about her parents, but couldn't do anything about it. The tension kept bulding, and in the end, she said that she can't live like this anymore, and left her parents. She had no regrets. She left home, and decided to live an independent life. She promised herself that she will never become like her parents, and will try and stop any person, who is acting in such a way to other races. And so, her journey begins.
Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Thalia is a very kind and positive person. She will try to help a person in need, as much as she can. She is very social. She likes talking to different people and finding more about the world. She often comes to bars just to listen to different stories the people tell there. Thalia studies different cultures, and is happy to find out more about other races. Despite her being a High Elf, she loves talking with all the different races. She hates people who despise and mistreats other races. But even though she is determined to stop anyone who mistreats others, she is not always able to do so, mostly because of her fragile nature.
Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) Thalia wishes to find out everything that is known about all the cultures. She doesn't have a dream job, but hopes to find a job that allows her to communicate with other people. Thalia also wishes to get rid of racism in the world. And even though she understands that it is impossible to change everyone, she still wants to keep trying.
Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Thalia has never been very talented. She doesn't have something specific she is good at. However she is pretty good at writing and reading. She also knows a little of alchemy, since she watched her dad work when she was little.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Thalia is bad with jobs that require a lot of physical work. She also finds it hard to refuse a person's request, which gets her into trouble quite often. Also, even though she tries, she often can't stand up for herself. Thalia is quite clumsy, often dropping things she holds.
Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) Thalia is 6'1" feet tall. She has long blonde hair, and a green eyes. Her skin is smooth, without any rought edges or scares.
