What magic(s) will you be teaching?

    Earth Elementalism

Summarise the Lore of this magic(s):

Earth Elementalism is a Earth focused subtype of Shamanism, with the Shaman themself being able to control the earth around them (I.e. rock, gravel, sand, dirt, etc.) However, before a shaman can really do anything he must first pact with a Spirit of Earth and complete a trial given by that spirit. Normally, the trial itself is something simple and straightforward with a time frame on it to discourage procrastination. An example would be the spirit asking the new Shaman to build a shrine to them as well as to worship daily. After all this is done, the Shaman may then move on to the fun parts of manipulating earth itself.

T1- At tier 1, the Shaman cannot do much other than manipulate loose rocks and such, about as much as a bucket can handle. And even then it is through great concentration that they do this.

T2- At this tier, the Shaman can do more. This time they can control both loose and solid earth, being able to alter the shape a bit more. As well as being able to manipulate what might be contained in a bathtub of sorts.

T3- Tier 3 is not much different than tier 2, except this time the Shaman can control more of the shape and direction of the earth they are manipulating and it’s more of a basic mastery.

T4- Tier 4 is an advanced mastery of Earth, with the Shaman being able to completely control the shape and direction of the rocks and such that they are manipulating, and with a greater size of what could be contained within a car.

T5- At tier 5 the Shaman can now teach the magic, as well as has a complete understanding and mastery of the element. They can now alter the shape and direction of the earth, and control an amount that would be equivalent to the size of a living room.

Oh ok. Also, you can’t just start playin a race, you have to choose from the available ones. If you wanna make bird people, gotta do a lore submission

  5. The half naked, self-exiled Thorgrimm Hammerforge looked upon the paper. His Warhammer in one hand, he nearly laughed. “Ah do believe en a time for new leadahs, but the elder dwed am nae all clouded lad.” With that, the large tattooed dwarf disappeared once again into the world.

  6. Aight so y’all are just not going to talk to the Braduks about this and make this decision on your own, despite us not being min-max of anything and really not being that close to Olog height OR weight? Ok. Sounds great. But maybe next time, or you know, this time, you should actually ******* talk to the people who PLAY Braduks not just random Orcs. Stop being retards and think

  7. The Fall of The Golden One

The Hou-Zi council made it’s conclusion. The people would evacuate, to save themselves from the rule of Cao Cao who had believed himself to be much like the God King Hou-Shen. As they gathered little of their belongings, and prepared to set sail they heard a voice behind them.

    “Why are you leaving?”

Xiahou recognized the voice of his old friend, Shen-Li. Arguably, Li was one of if not the oldest Hou he knew. And yet, he still possessed the grace of his youth. Xiahou turned to him, as the people made the excuse of a fishing trip. Deep down, Xiahou knew it would not work. Shen-Li knew, the Hei-Zhu knew that from his expression.

“This is no fishing trip, you are all bringing your belongings.” And Li was right, as the Emperor Cao Cao and an unknown Hei-Zhu backed Li. The Emperor was fat and lazy, that was easy to tell. And yet he drew his club, ready to fight. In response, Li drew his sword.

Xiahou knew that he would not survive the upcoming battle. The citizens were not trained soldiers, and only three of the people there, including Xiahou, were able-bodied combatants. Those that remained were made up of women and healers.

“Li, you would draw your weapon on your kin?” Xiahou asked, with pleading eyes. He did not want the bloodshed to come to the citizens. If it did, he was sure they would all die. The Hei-Zhu put a hand upon his kanabo, and puffed his chest out towards the trio in an attempt to intimidate them. Yet it did not work.

“Yes.” Li lunged towards Xiahou in an attempt to pierce his armor, and it struck true underneath his heart.. It had begun. The other two fighters charged forth, as the Lang Patriarch gave a mighty roar and unearthed the Kanabo he had and charged along with them. And yet, two others attacked Xiahou. He was pierced with multiple arrows, and just as he had gotten a strike on one of them, he fell.

Four arrows. Four arrows had pierced his armor, all in his front chestplate along with the sword strike. Out of the corner of his eyes, he saw the other warriors fall along with him. As he crashed down to the ground on the end of the dock, Li and the other followed the citizens who had dived off the boat. While the repulsively fat Cao Cao stood over Liao-Chen. And with three club strikes, he had broken his head in. The Hei-Zhu felt his vision dimming. Blood poured from him, and from most likely Cao Cao, the Hei-Zhu fell from the docks and into the sea water below.

And as his vision turned to black, he felt at peace. He had died trying to protect those that he cared for. Xiahou realized that he might not go down in the history books, but he did not want to be. Xiahou did not wish for fame. And when he opened his eyes again, he saw a beautiful paradise. Jiang-Taiyun, the Golden City.

And yet, as he took one last glance upon the beautiful city he wanted nothing more than to visit, he drifted off into the empty void that filled his vision now. And once more, all he saw was black.

Beneath the waves of the sea, the Hei-Zhu’s body lay. Quietly floating away from the city, and off to the deep blue ocean.

    OOC:

A fun time I had RPing this boy. And yet, everything has to come to an end. Though this is no PK, as it is a shelf. I might bring him back a bit later, with some explanation behind that don’t worry. But that will not be for a long time. I had some great RP on him, and I still think the 1st Gen Hou-Zi was arguably the most fun I had on the server. Being a new race, that had barely been discovered by others was awesome. It inspired great things, and the most fun RP I had on Xiahou was in the Westerlands where he made friends playing music and trading.

Describe your knowledge on the descendant races

I have spent a good 3 years on this server. I understand the basics, and the limits of the races.

Humans- Your basic average humans, standing around 6’“ average. There are Highlanders, Heartlanders, and Farfolk. When Iblees was defeated, he cursed them with the shortest life spans of all. Giving them only 150 years to live, maximum. And yet, they were blessed with entrance to the Seven Skies upon their death.

Orcs- Most of the time, bloodthirsty and brutal beings that stand around 7’5” on average. They have Ologs, the giant troll-folk, Uruks, your basic Orc, and Goblins, the small and cunning ones. Coming in blue, green, red, black, etc. Krug was the first to stand against Iblees, and therefore, he was cursed with bloodlust. His people would grow cold and heartless, pillaging his brother’s sons and daughters. And yet, they were blessed with the ability to find honor where none is found.

Dwarves- The stout men of the mountains, standing around 4’6”. You have your Dark Dwarves, the Dark Elf Mountain Dwarf hybrid, your Mountain Dwarves, and your Cave Dwarves. The Dwarves were cursed by Iblees, with greed. They would grow short, fat, and ugly with greed for everything under the ground. Though, they were blessed to be strong of heart and mind. Giving them outstanding courage and valor.

Elves- The slender men of the forests, with three breeds equal to the other descendants. For normal elves, they stand around 5’8”. But, there are of course High Elves, Dark Elves, and Wood Elves. With High Elves being the tallest, yet most without muscle, and the Wood Elves being the shortest. After Iblees was defeated, they were cursed with infertility. As they only wished to live quietly, and alone. But they were blessed with extremely long lives, to help compensate for this.

Describe your knowledge on other pieces of lore that you believe to be relevant

I have knowledge on Kharajyr as I played one for many of my starting characters. I also have knowledge on server history, as my 3 years on this has helped me to achieve that. I do of course have extensive knowledge with Orcs since I main one currently, along with Hou-Zi.

Detail what drives you to become a member of the application team

Most of the time, when I make feedback posts on the App team folks just tell me “Apply for yourself, be the change you wanna see!” so here I am. I’m here to be the change I wanna see. I’m here to make sure no more Dovahkiins or 9’5, 700 pound REGULAR orcs are accepted who are also smarter than “basic orcs”. I want to make sure that the apps that are accepted are good ones.

Provide an alternate way to assisting new players apart from reviewing applications

I also wish to help guide new players around the server, assisting them by showing them capital cities of their race, or even of other races.

Survey the application process and provide any possible improvements which could be made

I feel like it should be made more difficult. I’ve found multiple issues with applications, there was one person who named their character “Dovahkiin” and got accepted. Another was of course a 9’5 700 pound Orc, who is quote “smarter than basic orcs” and he was accepted. By the community manager. I feel like folks don't know Orc lore that great, so I wanna try and help with this as well. If memory serves, I don’t believe there is an Orc AT other than Jandy.

Provide any additional information that you believe is needed

I've applied multiple times to the AT yet never receive a denied or accepted message. They're just left there. So, if you truly want people to "be the change" they wish to see, actually consider them before telling them to apply just to leave them there with no answer.
