What magic(s) will you be teaching?

             Druidism: Communion & Control

Describe this magic or a creature as a whole:

Druidism is a deific magic surrounding the distant Aengul known as the Aspects, the caretakers and watchers of nature and the cycle that is present within it. These beings tasked Descendants to help assist them with this task, being known as the Druids. Those that become Druids are granted with abilities to help with preserving nature. While most serve the same goal, there are many different paths that Druids may take.

Due to the Aspect's relaxed nature when enforcing law upon their spawn it is often up to the Druids and the Circles they exist within to judge one another and the path they wish to take to preserve nature. While it may for the most part be the druids alone in there task, they will occasionally receive guidance from Heralds of the Aspects like The Green Dragon Taynei’hiylu or the Mani Demi-God spiritual representations of different animals.

Connection & Communion covers the base of the main druidic abilities, taking up 2-slots using an exhaustion based system that allows a druid to manipulate nature. Mainly granting the user utility based abilities, once they are awakened to the voices of nature after attunement. Though the true power of the Druids often are seen when druids are gathered in groups being able to increase the power of spell upon sharing energy.

A Druid may only progress in strength and tier based upon how much they know. Druidism holds additional abilities one can learn through a separate MA.

Are there different sections or subsections of magic? Can those be elaborated upon?

    N/A

Can you give an example of a casting emote, of a spell of your choice?

    Ungrowing

A later tier spell of Communion & Control in which a druid focuses upon a piece of plant life they wish to reverse its growth or shrink it in size.

Once connecting with the plant that they wish to shrike, they may slowly guide the tree into a lesser form to either take from it or remove it in its entirety. This takes place over the course of [5 Emotes] at its earliest stage.

    Emotes:

The Elder Druid lowered himself to the ground before the mature Oak Tree their eyes taking on a vibrant green hue as he looked upon the bark of the tree attempting to reach out.

Soon came drifting lines of a mist-like green energy that moved to encircle the base of the tree, shifting and reacting as if it were having a conversation with the tree.

The man released a huff of air as his hands drifted about through the air as the tree began to slowly bend into itself, branches shrinking in size retreating into its base.

Emerald mists drifted up the base of the trunk now as the Elder released a light murmur to themselves. “Take ease, we are soon to be finished.” As the tree’s body slowly continued to break down the truck slowly shrinking now as the branches barely stuck from it now.

Those same mists light up in a vibrant hue then as the tree continues to fold and shrink further before those mists cease to flow. Now only being that of a sampling that remained of the former maturing tree.

Can you give an example of a teaching-emote (interacting with another) of a spell of your choice?

    Communion:

The core ability of Druidism in which one is able to reach out to the voices of the plant life around them and understand them, with that same strange language. At first these voices plague the mind of the Druid but with training can be singled out and separated.

Like an additional sense with time the ability to pick and choose which voices to listen into becomes like second nature as the druid progresses through tiers.

    Emotes:

[!] Within a shaded forest a pair of elves could be seen making their way through the woods.

The Elder Druid came to a stop beneath a tree, his staff being sent into the side of it’s trunk before they turned to their student. “Today, we will go over how to calm the hum that now clouds your senses. It may seem like much now but as time passes you shall get used to it.” The man then motioned to the tree before them. “Sit before it and calm yourself, focus inward if you must.”

The Acolyte Druid followed along with their teacher. The Acolytes' head soon arched up as they motioned to the tree as a small nod was given before they lowered themselves to sit upon the ground. Closing their eyes as if to make it easier to focus.

“The art of Communion can be seen as a gift and a curse at times, as you focus I would like you to focus upon yourself and pull forth the gift that now lies within you.” He once more gave a light tap against the trunk of the tree with the stick.

A simple nod was given towards the Elder as the younger druid continued to meditate upon themselves attempting to pull forth that connection.

The Elder Druid quieted himself, awaiting for his student to awaken themselves to the even wider span of individual voices.

After a number of moments of silence the younger druid appeared to lose himself within the hum before they opened their eyes in that moment a red hue taking over their eyes. A light glance was sent towards their master before turning back to the tree.

A nod was given by the Elder Druid in that moment as they motioned to the tree. “Very good, now hold upon this feeling. Attempt to hear the chorus that surrounds these woods even if it is for a short while.”

As the younger focused upon the tree their features tensed every slightly for a moment as a crimson mist began to slowly extend from their palms as if instinct. Drifting about the various flora as if observing it, though it was somewhat chaotic being untrained.

Once more the Elder remained silent allowing the younger druid to complete their attempt to focus upon the voices of nature that surrounded them.

Sweat began to form upon the younger druid’s brow as they tensed once more the crimson hue’s they instinctively had drifted about seemed to sink into the flora around the pair as it attempted to perceive the nature around them.

“Good, you will not have to hold it much longer.” The Elder Druid commented as they looked upon their students mist’s a small nod being given.

A sudden light grew then as the student made the connection to the greater tunes around them releasing a gasp before their connection entirely fell apart, the crimson hue escaping their eyes. Heavy heaves were heard from them before they turned back to their master. “That was far more difficult than expected.”

The Elder released a hearty chuckle before giving their student a couple nods. “Ti, it is indeed difficult at first. But as I said, with time it will come like second nature for you.” The man then offered a hand towards the exhausted Acolyte “Come, let us go find some place to rest your head.”

[!] Taking the hand of their master the younger druid released a huff as they steadied themselves. Both then slowly made their way out of the thick shaded forests they had found themselves in.

Say your student powergames during or after teaching, how do you reprimand that?

If that were to take place during a lesson I’d explain to my student that it wasn’t the correct usage of the spell and inform them on how to change it.

If it took place outside of a lesson depending on what happened when they used the spell, I’d inform them the correct usage and tell them to reach out to the players they reached out to and explain the situation.

Although if it becomes a repeating issue of the student repeating to power game numerous times after correcting I would reach out to a story team member with the issue.

    Creator's RP Name:

             Daz'rukrai

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

Zar’eika, also known as Zezimar, are infernal beings spawned from an equally demonic ritual of the Naz’therak. In which a Descendant has their very being stripped away from them and reformed into a hellish creature for their new creator to command.

The Zar'eika are innately selfish beings, incapable of empathy or sympathy. Often giving them a twisted view on reality, opting to step over others through acts of trickery and betrayal to achieve what they wish.

Often what these beings seek is following their creator's orders assisting them to whatever means it may be. Although there is an inherent desire to collect fragments of souls that they now lack, gathering such things from Descendants. Whether it be through intimidation, coercion, or a deal of some form to acquire such fragments willingly.

The intention of the gathering of souls relates to a climb they may begin, [3] in total grants them the ability to ascend via evolution, granting them further abilities and potential strength.

Even further than evolution, a Zar'eika may also strive to become a Zentherak, an event-only creature that has reached the maximum of their ability.

Zar'eika resemble humanoid shapes, taking on hellish features which offer purely aesthetic changes void of any combative advantages. These demonic features are primary and are not limited to enlarged teeth, extra limbs, or horns of bone.

Zar'eika are granted the ability to form a natural armor that would not exceed the durability of ceramic, and are wounded the same as Descendants. This in no way means that the protection granted can be used as a way of Power-Gamed defense.

If killed in combat, the Zar'eika must wait an OOC week before they are able to reform within the birthing pool they were spawned from. Though their creator manually revive them through the appropriate invocation ritual, along with possessing a piece of the now-dead creature.

There are 3 subtypes of the Zar'eika:

    Malda

The Mage subsect of the Zar'eika. The Malda are physically weakened, very frail in their nature though making up for such by their larger roster of spells available to them.

    Kozun

The Knight subsect of the Zar'eika. The Kozun are physically fit, akin to a well-trained human. They are keen to spellcasting more-so than the more brutish counterpart, but lesser than say the mage subtype.

    Rakaal

The Brute subsect of the Zar'eika. The Rakaal are the strongest physically of the subtypes, with the size and strength of an Orc warrior. Though this comes with the drawback of having little control over the malflame they may conjure.

If this construct or creature has some form of aesthetic choice, can you describe how they look?

    Zinthoz, the Kozun

A vile red-scaled creature with burning embers lining his body, broad shoulders, and a bulky frame. While that was the case it appeared as though the creature's body would be warped in some places due to its small base form. A gnarled grouping of black horns lined the monster's head, jagged teeth lining its mouth as a line was slit through the middle of the chin allowing it to open in three separate places. Meaty hands with fingers lined with sharpened nails similar to that of claws, though far weaker than one would naturally be. The creatures speaks in heaving tones, metallic in nature as if their voice was scraping against something. Often prone to heavy breathing likely due to such a small Descendant being used for its base body.

When the creature’s skin is pierced, the wound leaks Rakir burning away in embers before hitting the ground.

    A Vindicators Belief

Those that follow the path of the sunlight lord choose that of two paths. Both in turn reveal the true  sense of nature in one’s self within that very choice. My own walk upon this path has been that of self worth, selfish at first perhaps to search out a purpose for myself but I was young. Now as I feel my body begin to wither and weaken like I have feared I write this for the next generation of my brethren that may read upon it.

The path of the Hunter is forever to pursue one’s own senses of greed. A lust for the destruction of one’s enemy, a drive to wipe their existence from the plain we swear to destroy. This is where I believe the fall of our order truly lies, we are known as killers amongst those we wish to protect. Whilst I state this it cannot be ignored that our enemies often hide amongst these very same Descendants we wish to protect. Perhaps it is just my age that has molded my mind in this way, but our current age is far from golden. Where the common man searches out some form of brigand to deal with some abomination of dark ilk.

I was raised as a boy who knew he was lucky to live, breath, and feel the world around him. When I should have died I was taken in sheltered with warmth. While that warmth could only be described as fading it is in turn what wrote my path.

The path of the Protector is forever and should be followed only by those that value another’s life over their own. Whilst the very thing that makes us Descendant can often prevent us from following this, when one falters they must return to the path and repent. When one becomes a Vindicator they are asked to sacrifice that which is most valuable. Some perceive this as the notion of something physical in form when in truth it is the very being of the paladin that must be offered. Not some petty bounty collected, but one’s entire being. Their cause must be to live and breathe for the lives of another. To cast their soul into the far over in the chance that they may save others from that same damned fate.

One is blessed with the gifts of the Sunlight Lord not to hide and preserve themselves, but to use them in the protection of others. For they cannot defend themselves against that which is vile and seeks chaos.

The order must remain absolute, as is called upon us all. “The sun must not set” rings within my mind, for this single phrase from the elders reveals the true truth of the matter. The reins of chaos are beheld by many within our realm, if the sun sets order will be lost. With that a long night will come.

That being stated, I do not think that the sun will truly ever give out. Yes it may wain and weaken, but as long as there are those that will continue to rise embolden by His embers it will brighten and rise. For that is as he has decreed upon us, if worn or bruised, shattered or broken, we rise once more. For we are His chosen and without that we are naught.

His chosen span to many, though in truth perhaps the path is not meant for all Descendant kind. Upon my years of work those that are often the first to die are those sons of Horen. Laying down their lives for that which is right. Ever since I was a young acolyte I noted the Lord’s fondness of Elven kind, few have lived up to my sought expectation. Most lacking in faith towards what they owe so much too. Perhaps that simply is a byproduct of their long lives.

My biases aside, I pose a final statement for those that may come across my writings. Forgive the jumbled order, I was never that of a writer. Put faith within our Lord, be emboldened by His path. It is a hard one if you decide to walk down such. Do not fear that you may falter for there is always a path back upon that which one has fallen from.

What magic(s) will you be teaching?

             Paladinism

Describe this magic or a creature as a whole:

Paladinism is a deity magic surrounding Xan, The Aengul of Order and Guardianship. In which champions of Xan or paladins are able to conjure a magical substance known as Xannic Mists. These champions serve as sworn protectors of the realm of the Descendants from beings of dark orientation, primarily those aligned with Iblessian nature or Dragonkin.

The followers of Xan are sworn to a set of tenets that are generally culturally enforced by each order. While they have shifted some throughout time they have stayed mostly the same for years. An example of one being the abuse of the abilities granted by Xan upon the innocent of the world. If one of the various creeds were to be broken it falls upon the peers of the paladin to call them to trial for their misdeeds. Resulting in either their disconnection from Xan or a path of redemption in which they must prove themselves in betterment.

Paladinism is a 3-slot deific magic that utilizes a point based system for casting known as embers to summon xannic mists. These xannic mists can be used in an array of ways, whether it be in a defensive manner to create a shield to block on coming attacks, or a more offensive approach in which they are able to infuse or conjure weapons with the mists to attack dark beings. While also possessing the light ability of healing wounds that may occur within combat, able to close heal deeper wounds given enough time. Although these mists and paladins hold an inherent weakness to the void and its nature.

This magic has two separate subclasses, Wyrmstalker and Vindicator each being respectfully chosen once a paladin reaches tier 3 having passed all their trials.

Are there different sections or subsections of magic? Can those be elaborated upon?

Currently within Paladinism there are two subsection classes a student may choose once they become tier 3 and have completed the required trial.

Vindicator: Stalwart warriors of the Order of Xan, acting as the guardian shields taking up a defensive role within the magic. Possessing powers of shielding and more supportive based combat spells.

Wyrmstalker: The often more dogmatic and merciless hunters of the Order. These warriors play as the more offensive force within the magic, possessing power ranged abilities to damage darkspawn whilst hunting them down.

Can you give an example of a casting emote, of a spell of your choice?

    Xannic Fervour: Melee

The basic imbuement of an item that causes a burning sensation upon striking the flesh of a target. The xannic mists remain so long as the caster keeps the weapon in hand. The ability taking 2 emotes  and a single ember to cast [1 connection + 1 cast].

In addition to this spell there are two differing abilities based on the paladin's chosen subsection. Named Sun’s Favour and Storm’s Wrath respectively, each require one additional emote and ember.

Sun’s Favour belonging to the Vindicators applies a radiant light upon the weapon and causes fatigue upon the afflicted target, which stacks after repeated strikes.

The second Storm’s Wrath belongs to the Wyrmstalkers, primarily intended for projected weapons. The weapons imbued taking on an aesthetic of lightning, the strikes against the target creates a burning sensation that grows from the wound. Preventing dark spawn and dragon-kin from healing for 4 emotes.

    Emotes:

The young paladin’s gaze glanced back and forth as he took in his surroundings and the enemy’s he faced. Tightening the grip around his blade a shade of gold took over his eyes as a light glow formed at his hand.

Raising the blade up right now, a glimmering golden light shot forth then covering the entirety of the weapon's blade. Then Paladin’s stance strengthened as his attention locked upon the approaching dark spawn.

Can you give an example of a teaching-emote (interacting with another) of a spell of your choice?

    Mist Healing:

A spell in which a paladin is able to utilize the mist to close wounds that may be afflicted upon them in the heat of battle. Performed over 3 emotes [ 1 connection + 2 casting] costing 2 embers] for minor wounds while anything more severe costs 1 additional emote and ember.

In addition to this there is also an ability in which paladins are able to create a sunlit splint for broken bones. So that the paladin may more effectively fight or flee from the encounter. Depending on the severity of the break emotes range from 4 to 6 costing 4 to 6 embers.

    Emotes:

[!] As a pair of men walked into an open field a gentle gust of wind blew through the land, causing a light chill upon the skin.

The elder paladin stopped his march in the center of the field removing a small hunting knife from his side. His attention then turned towards his student. “I’ll be showing you a vital ability today lad. It’s saved many lives throughout time and likely will be the same within your hands.” The aged man then brought the knife across his palm, causing a light wound to appear. In before handing the blade to the younger paladin

The young man offered a nod as he came to a stop with his mentor. His attention caught upon the elder paladin's actions taking the knife that was now handed to him.

“Our mist allows us to quickly seal wounds that may be afflicted upon us within battle.” The aged man commented once more as a golden hue flushed his eyes as a glimmer sounded out. A pale  hand was then brought forth upon the wound. “Observe.”

Once more the young man offered a nod toward the older fellow as he moved to lean forward some to observe the spell.

Thin lines of radiant mist’s out stretched from the elders hand shifting quickly then to pierce within the edges of the wound releasing a dramatic thrum as they did such. “This can close surface level wounds along with ones that are deeper but it will require more time.” The man’s head then motioned towards his student's own hand. “Now cut your own wound.

“Does it heal bones as well?” The paladin then stepped back from his mentor as the wound began to seal. Before he gave a strand look towards the elder paladin before slowly cutting into his flesh with the knife, causing a small wound.

“Niet really, but you are able to create a split.” The elder paladin would release an aged groan as he dispersed the glimmering golden mists around his hand. Retracting it back a moment later showing a small scar remaining. “Now, conjure your mists forth around your hand and place it upon the wound.”

The younger paladin then offered a nod as a silver mist began to shift around his hand as it then began to lay upon the fresh wound.

“Good now, move to pierce and seal the wound. It is vital that you do not lose focus whilst casting or else it will now fully seal.” The Elder commented coming to now lower himself upon a nearby rock within the field as he watched his student proceed.

“I see, that makes sense.” Commented idly before much similarly to his mentor the mists began to become like threads. Piercing into the flesh surrounding the wound a moment later. As an idle shifting of wind could be heard.

“Right on it lad…” Called forth the Paladin once more as he leaned forth releasing a cough. “To answer your question on bones further. We can send our mists within the bone to support it and make it up right for a time but it is not permanent. Best to be used when fleeing.”

A hiss then sounded out from the man's wound as the young paladin dispersed his mists. Revealing a small scar around the area that was cut. “Very well, is that all for today?”

“Is that all for today?” He’d then release a scoff. “Da, that will be all for now. Be sure to practice, lest you falter when it really matters lad.”

[!] Now stepping up from a seated position an elder man walked through the field once more as a younger man soon followed a moment later. A gentle gust of wind blowing through the open space.
