I still think it needs more details and information in general.

As I stated, LotC is a unique universe, but derives itself from universes we know. If it's not obvious enough... (Dark Elves are literal clones from Elder Scrolls. Orcs are very similar from the Warcraft Universe. Kharajyr are literally from Elder Scrolls. Even Magic itself are from other universes...such as some recent magic lore and a certain game called 'Dark Souls 3'.) Hence why I stated whilst it's a unique universe, it derives much of its content from established universes, and thus would promote the case I described. The second statement is my personal depiction, if you're offended by my personal idea of what a generalized character is.. then there isn't much I can do for you.

Provided you don't use 'gender bending' to fulfill your sexual fantasies, I don't see much wrong with it. But many people abuse the possibility to fulfill said desires. This might be why the person took offense. We're in Medieval times, homosexuality isn't a common thing. (Whilst this is a unique universe, the majority of it is inspired from various universes where homosexuality is too uncommon or even unheard of) So this person might have taken the guise of homosexuality to be your method of fulfilling your sexual fantasies. Whilst I'm not accusing you, I'm stating that it may be the reason for their grievance. As I said, I don't see a problem with playing a female character, I myself have a depiction of certain character roles (such as healers, herbalists..etc) being female. I simply see females as being the more 'kind' of character archetype and thus if I was to play one, I'd most likely be a female character. I'm only trying to point out what this person may have perceived you as doing. Otherwise, I wouldn't have any idea of why they'd be upset by such a thing.

Some may call upon the Company for a large quantity of wood, or maybe to build a house out of said wood. Your job is to gather the materials requested, and upon completion, you will be paid a pre-determined amount. For example, Vanaheim needs a shipment of Dark Oak, specifically sixty-five. Your job is to go out, and obtain said Dark Oak regardless of your various methods and bring it back, where we will then transport it to Vanaheim and you will receive your pay. Another example, Felsen requests a suit of ferrum armor. Your job is to craft said armor, with materials given to you by the Company. When the items are shipped to Felsen, you will receive your pay. (We ask you wait until the items are delivered before pay to ensure quality) =============================================================== Sellswords The job of a sellsword is very difficult and rather discreet within the Company. You may be called to be a Bodyguard, or escort a Trader through perilous territory. Or perhaps….jobs of a rather massive scale.. You’ll be paid well, but the Company requests a 20% cut to each job.
