What is roleplaying?: I believe role-playing to be a form of story telling and character development. What is metagaming?: The usage of information acquired from means not true to role-play. What is powergaming?: A actioned forced on another playing. For example (Character #1 punches Character#2 knocking him out.) Character’s name: Aminor IronBend Character’s gender: Male Character’s race: Dwarf Character’s age: 134 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): They call me, Aminor Ironbend, I come from a family of Blacksmiths, very skilled blacksmiths, the Ironbend family have been amongst some of the most skilled blacksmith's of all the dwarves in the Goldhand clan. "Blacksmithin' runs in our blood, son." My father 'Kargoth' tried his best to teach me the ways of the Ironbend family but no matter how hard I would try, I failed to live up to my father's expectations. "Your Smithin' skills are only ordinary, you can't call yourself Ironbend if you don't shape up." For a Dwarf, ordinary was fairly good amongst other races, however not amongst dwarfs. Blacksmithin' just wasn't in my blood and soon enough my father began to lose hope and started to leave me alone, I don' even think he remembers I exist, so I went me own way. There was plenty of trade and arts to learn in the Goldhand clan. Sometime while I was wondering around, mindin' me own business, I was stopped by an Well Dressed Orc, he called himself 'Dr Hav-Hok', he offered me his teachings of the bardic art and a position in his crew 'Dr. Hav-Hok's Traveling Band of Bard-studs'. Together we traveled the lands of Aegis performin' for many people, mostly at Inn's. One day Hav-Hok presented me with a special what he called 'Gig', I was to perform at a nobleman's weedin'. At the day of the weedin' I performed a special song that Hav-Hok told me to perform at a certain time in a certain way, little did I know that the song Hav-Hok got me to play was in fact a sleepin' charm. As everyone fell asleep, Hav-Hok and the crew came in to raid all of the valuables, I told them I wanted no part in this, so Hav-Hok later reported me to be the one who performed the charm at the weedin'. I got imprisoned but not for long. five days after my Imprisonment a Guard set me free telling me that my time was payed off, I never got to meet the man who freed me. During my time in prison I looked back on my life and realised how simple and insignificant it was, all I did was fail to live up to my father's expectations of being a blacksmith, I got freed from prison, it must be sign, not to return to my life as a disappointment but to start a life many will remember across the ages, to honor the Ironbend family not in Blacksmithin' but in adventure, my teaching as a blacksmith and the Bardic Arts is all I need to start my legend, I decided to become a traveler, an Adventure, A hero. so I went back home, gathered some simple adventuring equipment and stood outside the city walls, I looked at the horizon and saw my future as a great adventurer. This is my Story... Ambitions: I hope to bring Honor to the IronBend family not by blacksmithin', but by the Bardic art, singing tails of honroable hero's, adventurer's and I hope to have other bards sing of my own Legend. Strengths/Talents: I find myself much friendlier than normal dwarves. Weaknesses/Inabilities: I am a dwarf at heart, something shinny is something shinny, I just can't help myself.
