Throughout all communities of the internet, cyberbullying has been a great problem for a long time and has affected people in terrible ways; it is likely that a lot of the LotC community members have been victims of cyberbullying in the past, and I am very grateful (as I am sure other victims are) that is is not welcome here, and that this kind of standard helps to uphold the great and friendly community you claim to have, which I can not wait to be a part of. I found the server advertised on minecraft-mp.com when looking through medieval themed servers. Character’s name: Torbir Greenbeard Character’s sex: Male Character’s race: Forest Dwarf Character’s age: 22 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): A descendant of the Dawnsworn clan, Torbir grew up in the rural area of Laureh'lin. His family had eventually settled there after somewhat nomadic generations. Torbir grew up with his mother, the whereabouts of his father is currently unknown, but Torbir believes his father is dead, since his mother gets very upset when he asks about him, and so he stopped not to distress her. Due to conflicts that arose involving Laureh'lin, Torbir and his mother, Bretta, fled the city in search of somewhere safer. They got by with their farming and found various shelters to survive, but times were hard and resources were scarce. During this time, Torbir spent a lot of time working hard on the farms and gaining a lot of knowledge about all kinds of plant life and crops; he eventually became a very skilled farmer. Before too long, Torbir and Bretta found a group of other forest dwarves travelling with some wood elves; after deep discussion the groups decided to travel together as they had mutual beliefs on how they should live life. At this time, Torbir focused a lot on the principles that the Aspect of the two silver rings of Anbella had bestowed to her people, he is a firm believer in protecting those close to him and cherishing what one gets from life; he believes in the importance of the balance of Nature, and that it must be preserved to the best of one's ability. With their combined efforts and crops, they lived well and prospered as a community. One day Torbir caught word that the conflicts in Laureh'lin had settled down after the end of the Oren-Haelunor conflict. He decided now would be the right time to travel back to the city and pursue research of Druidism in hopes of the day joining the Druidic Order. He intends to live his life working hard to help others and keep balance within Nature. After talking to the community about his decision, his mother and others expressed their sadness. They had all grown so fond of their way of living and had no reason to change it, but he did, and they accepted that. The next day, after a goodbye ceremony and emotional farewells, Torbir departed for Laureh'lin, promising he would see them all one day in the future. Personality Traits: Torbir is a curious person. He enjoys exploring, researching and discovering new things. A rather prominent trait of his personality is his sense of humour: he loves to make jokes, loves making people laugh and bringing them happiness. However, he can be very mischievous at times and enjoys playing practical jokes on friends every once in a while and also has a habit of making facetious jokes and killing moods, and tends to embarrass himself without meaning to. He is very loyal to those for whom he cares and is protective of them; if anyone were to speak ill of a loved one, they can count on an unpleasant altercation (with as much effort not to engage in a physical fight as possible, since Torbir does not enjoy those and can be somewhat cowardly, but he also wants to solve problems without resorting to those measures). Ambitions: Torbir's greatest ambition is to become a druid in the Order; by pursuing that path he can use his duty and abilities to uphold the good effects of his beliefs. Strengths/Talents: He is talented at farming and knowledgeable of plants that he found, especially those he farmed. He is also determined and honest and will fight hard for what he believes. Weaknesses/Inabilities: He can be a bit cowardly and lacks fighting ability and experience. He is also prone to making social situations awkward with facetious jokes. Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): Torbir is 4'3" and has a firm, fairly muscular build (from all the farming, gathering and other work). He has short, dark brown hair that is quite unkept (he had to cut it because some sheep in his flock kept biting at it when it was considerably longer, and he thought it would be the more practical approach) and dark green eyes. He wears a dark leather robe and a coat of fine cloth (received from a skilled tailor and leatherworker in his community) and a pair of leather sandals.
