How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: Google search consisting of "RP Minecraft Server". Definitions What is role-playing?: Role-playing is a way to live a different life. You assume the position of someone you're not and you pretend to be them. In my situation, it allows me to lead the life of someone I'm not, and it also allows me to get my mind off of real issues. It's a gateway to a new kind of entertainment, a world of whatever you choose. What is meta-gaming?: "To know that we know what we know, and that we do not know what we do not know, that is true knowledge." - Henry David Thoreau. Meta-gaming is taking knowledge that you possess, and giving it to your other role you play. An analogy to this could be a higher diety in the real world giving you knowledge just because he plays the role of you, meaning it's unfair to everyone else. You must allow your role in-game to have it's own mental state and knowledge, over your own. What is power-gaming?: Equality. To be able to not indulge yourself in power-gaming, it requires having an open-mind and allowing others to be of equal status, thus teaching the ways of equality when compared to others. The criteria of the equality in this acknowledgement deals with diffrent criteria in the role-playing world. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Due to his parents abilities at hunting and gathering, Encco has learned to manage on his own in the wild. This can be attested to the location of where he was raised, on the outskirts of a Highlander town. A solitary life burdened upon him via his parents ambitions of a life without others. Encco was troubled with depressions and loneliness. He always had something good to say, and if argument were to ever break out, he would always be the one to settle it. With a warm heart, and good morals, Encco is a perfect example of a kind human-being. A stable and healthy life, thanks to his parents abilities at thriving for themselves has led Encco through a simple and average youth. At the age of 16, he gave farewell to his parents to walk the path of knowledge and curiousity. Throughout adolescence, Encco has yearned for intelligence. A book here, an observation there, he can never seem to quench his thirst for insight. Many facts that he knows can be attested to multiple books Encco has managed to scour on his own. Many large historical events that he never knew of helped persuade Encco to want more. Such events consisted of the creation of Aegis and man, the fall of the Holy Oren Empire, and the banishment of Iblees. And so it began, a life of traveling, of learning, and of self enlightment. His main question is of philosophical and meta-physical theories. Does a god exist? What does the after-life provid? What is the meaning of life? Through his travels, Encco plans on meeting multiple people with different ideologies, learning the ways of new religions, and helping whoever he can on his journey. With good intentions, and a heart as gentle as Elys, anything is possible. Personality Traits: Humble, kind, giving, insightful, easy-going, shy, odd, patient, and aware. Ambitions: To learn the ways of life. Reaching an inner enlightment of insight towards all aspect of life. Also, to help others in need. Elys is one of good intentions, and will do anything to settle someones heart to ease. Through trial and error, Encco believes a unity of equality in both ambitions possible.
