What is roleplaying?: Role playing is the act of putting your self into a characters shoes in a sense. It is making decisions and actions based on what your character would do. What is metagaming?: Metagaming is doing actions or talking about things that your character does not know. For example, you see a players name above their head and you say "Hi Cole!", you do not know what their name is because they haven't told you. What is power gaming?: Power gaming is essentially where you make your in game character do something that may be very unrealistic. For example, "I can jump 20 blocks and use super strength because I am the King." In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play. Character’s name: Aethis Ulrack Character’s sex: Male Character’s race: Highlander Character’s age: 34 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Aethis was born into the Order of the Black Mace. He lived with his father who at the time was a well known blacksmith until he was 24. At this time he had gained some craftsmanship skills and saved up a fair amount of money from working as his fathers partner. He'd always hear stories from the soldiers who came to have their blades sharpened and shields re-inforced about Felsen, a roaring city of humans, all with a unique and interesting stories to tell. After parting from the safety of the Order and his father's protection he set out for Felsen in hope to find work. Aethis decided that he would go there first and perhaps jump aboard ship to the Elvish capital of Haelun'or to work as a black smith. He's always been fascinated by the crafts-work of Elves and wanted to learn first hand from them. After a day of walking, riding in wagons and asking travellers for directions, he finally made it to Felsen. As promised it was roaring with the cheers of men. Aethis found his way to the tavern where he was greeted by a beautiful bartender and a place to rest. Personality Traits: Optimistic, energetic, anxious and co-operative. Ambitions: Work as a black smith in the Elvish capital of Haelun'or. Strengths/Talents: Craftsmanship skills and strength from working as a blacksmith.
