My good mate prologued or Larry Neyas in game Definitions What is roleplaying?: Almost like online acting, where a player plays as a character other than themselves, with a story and a personality. What is metagaming?:An out of character action or phrase that a player can say to another to share information that they could not while in character. It does not directly affect the player's character. What is powergaming?: An action made by one character towards another that the other who the action impacts cannot change. eg. "Sam throws a bottle at Sally. It does not miss." Sally can then not say "But then she ducks, and the bottle smashes against a wall", as this would contradict the previous action. Powergaming is not fair, as it can often be misused, and does not let the other character think for themselves or have any input. In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play. Character’s name: Volklo Forleblorn Character’s sex: Male Character’s race: Dwarf Character’s age: 19 Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Volklo had a rough childhood, got into more than his share of fights as a young dwarf. This led to him acting out and running away from his dwarf clan at a young age, missing out on the simple life of an armor or weapon-smith many of his brethren choose. As a troubled young dwarf, he wandered for some time before running into a small mercenary group. He found that despite his lack of trade-skills, he actually had some useful skills when it came to fighting, and he fit right in with them. In this group he learned some skills uncommon among dwarves- he learned to swim, use a sword and ride a horse. In his next few years as a mercenary, he again saw great success in battle. He was good at his work. Yet, he was troubled, as he was away from his home, and even more troubled when he heard of his next assignment. To pillage villages and clans near the capitol of Kal'Akash. He saw in that list, his town, his home. Confused and distraught he sought out the one guidance he trusted, his loyal companion in arms Gor'ash. An orc which he came close to after joining the group. As most of the mercenary's are human they were outcasts but both quickly rose the ranks. As he knew the land he was the leader of the raiding party. He knew this was his job and was always loyal to his captain but something inside of him changed that day. Seeing his own house burning before his eyes made him break. His loyalty faltered and his eyes... his eyes had one look. Anger. He broke out into what is only known as a blood rage killing anything he saw. Friend or foe until he broke into the local inn. Smashed down the door with a single blow of his fist. Bleeding and severely injured Volklo made it into the cellar where most of the civilians were hiding where he found what he thought had been lost for years. His mother. When he saw her he instantly calmed down but she didn't even recognize him He then realized what he had done and left the villagers and his mother in peace Dejected, Volklo made his way out the clan home, with nothing, to start his new journey.
