  1. Torvin's Apology

penned on the 1st of the Grand Harvest, 1602

    ==-(<>)-==

The Young dwarf, Torvin Grandaxe, sits on his bed, putting his head into his hand, staring at the wall. He sat there and thought about what he must do for a while before walking over to his table. He lets out a long exhale and begins to write on a piece of parchment.

    To the Dwedmar of Urguan,

I know how you all feel towards me, that I am a traitor and must be locked out from Urguan and banished for good. Some of you even wish that I would be hunted down and executed. But here I ask that you forgive my foolishness and wrongdoings so that there can be one more dwed drinking in the Dancing Igor. I have wronged the Dwedmar greartly, I have commited a hateful act that will forever stain my reputation, I betrayed the trust that was given to me by the Dwedmar when they elected me as Grandking. But I know that I must return to my kin, with my honor in tatters in order to live out life where I can be helpful. I did not abandon the dwarves for other lands, I fought in the same battles, I lead the group in the Heist of the Johannesburg Palace to undo my mistakes and did what I could do to help from the sidelines. Anyway my wrongs are far more serious than my assistance, but I know I am not the only one, countless dwarves have done the same as me have returned before; Zahrer Irongrinder, the Starbreakers who fought with Undead were still allowed back in. I have no desire beyond this simple request, I wish to return home and live quietly with my kin.

    Sincerely, Torvin Grandaxe.

What magic(s) will you be teaching?:

    Fire Evocation

Summarise the Lore of this magic(s):

Fire Evocation is the summoning of a flame/fire from the void. This form of evocation is mainly used for combat, but it can also be used outside of combat. Fire Evocation is also known as the most simplistic  form of evocation. In order for a mage to summon such a flame, one must first study it. They need to do a lot of studying about the type they want to summon out of the void later. "How does fire feel?" "How does it sound?" etcetera.  These questions is what a mage should ask himself before he starts practicing the art of fire evocation. The fire what's being pulled out of a void may look like a real flame, but it is infact a fake flame. However it does the same thing a real flame would do. This also means that the mage has no control over the fire elements in the real world. As the mage continues practicing and studying of the art of fire evocation, they get better at controlling the flames, and they also manage to consume way lesser mana than normal. Someone who's not experienced with the type can feel fatigue, can fall unconcious, and sometimes on rare occasions, even die if they consume way too much mana. Someone who mastered fire evocation would feel only a slight fatigue. The size, heath and the amount of time you summon the flame into the real world make the amount of mana you use. If you create a large fireball, your mana would consume way faster for example. Evocating a flame also has it's consequenses. The fire is dangerous and hot, mages can often risk a few burns. This is also why a mage must know how to control a flame. One must stay focused on the flame, and also remain focused when evocating the flame or it will dissipate

Write up a lesson that your character would give to a student:

Torvin Grandaxe and his son, Tarub Grandaxe, were walking in a dark forest in the middle of the night. After a few hours of walking Torvin stopped. "T'is is enuf, moh lad. Let's camp 'ere for da night." Tarub gave a nod and started packing out for the night. When he took out a flint and tried creating a small camp fire. After a few minutes Torvin began to shake his head., seeing that his son had trouble with creating a fire. "Leave it tuh meh" He sat on the ground and extended his arm, first his arm started to twitch a little and shortly after his wholy body. A small ball of fire appeared above Torvin's hand. He slowly moved his hand to one of the branches, trying to heat up a fire. He lets out a long grunt as the hot fire has been burning Torvin's hand. He then quickly pulled out his hand. Tarub was staring at the camp fire. "I was wonderin' if yeh could teach me t'at one day!"

"Aye sure"  He chuckles. "First t'ing, moh lad is knowing the fire. Look at it carefulleh... 'ow does it move, 'ow does it smell.." He paused. "''ow does it feel."   Tarub shaked his head. "Yeh dunnae expect me tuh touch t'at duh yeh.."  Torvin nodded twice. He then extended his arm. "Look at t'at. See 'ow maneh wounds ah 'ave from da foire. In order tuh evoke ah flame, you must understand it."  Tarub 's gaze was fixed on the flame. He then lets out a long exhale and extended his right arm into the fire. He started to grunt it out and in a few seconds he pulled out his hand as he screams it out. Torvin moved to his bag and took out a bottle of water and poured it down on Tarub's hand. "T'at will feel bettah. Ah am sorreh son. But t'is is 'ow evereh single mage started..." He chuckles loudly. "Next time ah will s'ow ya 'ow ya can connect tuh da void, and now ye know w'at fire feels like, moves like... Yeh can probableh summon a few sparkles of fire next time... Ah will s'ow ya 'ow tuh meditate properleh" Tarub scratched his head . "Whoi is meditatin' suh importan' t'en. Ah see yeh doin' it often."  Torvin then answered with: "Weh use mana tuh summon t'ose flames. But our mana pool quickly becomes empteh if weh don't meditate properleh. By meditatin' weh prepare ourselves, weh expand our mana pool, it makes yeh more focused. Realleh important, weh will continue tomorrow. Let's rest now."

Galahad glances over the recruiting poster, then back to the haense recruiting poster and notices similarities between the two. He'd grumble but thought better then to mention anything because it is simply due to the lack of braincells to make something new instead of copying.

Abdes de Savin points his middle finger at Galahad. "I say that you copied us, filthy ****!"

  4.

Thirty years have passed since the infamous and controversial Courland refugee crisis.

For thirty years the Staunton family lay dormant, waiting. Waiting to take revenge upon the people that betrayed them, lied to them and inevitably, slaughtered them.

Courland is not just a person, it is not just a land, it isn’t even just a name. It is an idea. You can take away people, you can take away land, you can take away their name, but you cannot take away thoughts.

On the 2nd of the First Seed, 1593, it was a mild and temperate Orenian night. There was a mellow breeze.

The guards spotted a group approaching, nodding to each other. This was a time that they had been waiting for. They raised the gates as a large force galloped into the keep, led by an elderly, dark haired man.

The purple and black flag was lowered as a new, all too familiar green and black flag was raised. The Revolution had come to Savinia.

Voided RP and threatened to ban a guy because "not responding to forum RP is metagaming"(which'd make himself and the entire server also guilty of that)

Ye, I might havent done some rp but I shouldnt have to reply to a forum post to see it.

I dislike Tahmas for the way he acts during different kind of situations. The moment I 'turned against' Urguan, he started to act more shittier towards me. For me it just looks like he wanted to get this position the moment he joined lotc.

Oren has their abusing GM's as well. Gm's reading trough logs and then metagame. Metagame from Skype leaks etc. Also ooc banning. I know, if they do it ooc then let us do the same. No, if they do it ooc then solve it out with the person, or go to an admin. I mean no hate to you all, you guys are actually quite reasonable.

Fm's, dont hide posts if there is no reason to. Rp posts directed at you, just anything. If I was a FM I wouldnt hide rp posts where they're hating on me like the poem they've made about my character.

Everyone has their points that need improving. Almost every staff member has done something they shouldn't have done. Not just one.
